Chapter 47 Do you think the Mizukage... is still normal?

With the last Jonin killed by Kakashi's Lightning Blade, this elite team was wiped out.

Only Mei Terumi was bound like a dumpling by Kushina's Adamantine Lock, unable to form hand seals, and glared at them with hatred.

"Sealing Technique..."

Ignoring her gaze, Kushina formed hand seals and used a sealing technique to seal Mei Terumi's ability to gather chakra before retracting the Adamantine Lock that bound her.

Hinata Yu slowly said, "She is a user of two bloodline limits, and the village used her as cannon fodder on the battlefield. Yet she is here trying to sow discord between me. She is quite loyal."

Mei Terumi's eyes narrowed. Ignoring the burning pain on her face, she said in a deep voice, "Who are you calling cannon fodder?"

"Of course it's you." Uchiha Yakumaru suppressed his frustration and united against the common enemy. "Your Mizukage clearly doesn't care about your lives. We, Konoha, fought against three ninja villages simultaneously and didn't suffer any losses. Do you really think one Kirigakure village can take us down? You can't be that stupid, can you?"

"She's not stupid, she just clings to illusions and doesn't want to believe it." Hinata Yu shook his head.

Mei Terumi stared intently at Hyuga Yu and Uchiha Yakumaru, memorizing their faces, and said in a low voice, "We, Kirigakure, will win."

"Okay." Kushina nodded, smiling at Mei Terumi, whose expression had just softened but then the situation took another sharp turn for the worse. "We're different from you; we only go this deep because there are guarantees."

Mei Terumi, however, was preoccupied with watching Hyuga, and was horrified that yet another user of the Flying Thunder God Technique had appeared in the ninja world.

At only 15 years old, she still held reverence for the powerful figures who had made their names in the ninja world. Unlike the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, she was not arrogant. She was even more wary of powerful figures like the Fourth Hokage, who could single-handedly change the course of a war.

She was the only survivor this time, and if she couldn't get the message out, the Hidden Mist Village would likely suffer losses as a result.

Hyuga Yu nodded noncommittally, "I should thank you for the ambush on the Hyuga main family last time."

"It really was you!" Yagura's tone turned somber. "I found it strange that my subordinate was able to discover information about the Hyuga main family before he died, and even leave behind a coded message."

"The ambush failed, resulting in the loss of several ninjas, and our Hidden Mist Village was also falsely accused. Was this all your doing?"

"Don't sound so serious. There weren't any of your subordinates among the ninjas sent to capture them, were there?" Hyuga Yu chuckled.

Yagura squinted.
