All of France: Summoners of the Rift, establish the Glory Hunters' Guild

Chapter 6 Ai Tutu and Mu Nujiao's Entrustment

After the Bo City incident, the number of bounties offered by the Glory Hunters increased significantly, and the intensity of the missions also increased, keeping Mulan and the others very busy every day.

That day, Chen Qing was cultivating alone in the Glory Hunting Grounds.

The wind chimes at the door rang, a sound that only occurs when the door is pushed open. Chen Qing assumed it was someone from the Great Wall Guard or Ji Xiaoman.

But a sudden exclamation jolted him out of his meditative state.

"Chen Qing, what are you doing here?!"

Chen Qing recognized the voice immediately; it was clearly the voice of his magnanimous and always boisterous deskmate, Ai Tutu.

As soon as Chen Qing opened his eyes, a pretty face with a slightly chubby cheek was pressed against his face.

"Chen Qing, what are you doing here? Are you here to ask for a reward too?"

Ai Tutu's big, watery eyes seemed to speak volumes, and she was looking at him with a beaming smile.

"I..." Chen Qing paused, looking at the youthful and beautiful face, and said, "I guess so."

"What are you doing here?" Chen Qing looked at Mu Nujiao next to Ai Tutu, and a hint of amazement flashed in his eyes as he saw the light-colored ice silk dress she was wearing today.

"Hehe." Ai Tutu chuckled, pouting her rosy lips, before saying, "We saw information about the Glory Hunters on TV, and we happened to have something to ask of them, so we came over."

"A request?" Chen Qing raised an eyebrow. What kind of request could these two girls possibly have?

"Tell me what kind of commission you're looking for. We don't even accept commissions under 300,000."

Looking at Chen Qing's appearance, Mu Nujiao asked in surprise, "This Glory Hunting Ground is...?"

"My family owns it." Chen Qing glanced at her, thinking to himself, "She's definitely a smart and clever girl, much better than that big-breasted, brainless guy."

Ai Tutu: Feed me peanuts!

"What?!" Ai Tutu exclaimed, covering her mouth with her two little hands in surprise. "You own the Glory Hunter's Guild?!"

"Genuine, guaranteed." Chen Qing took out an information sheet and placed it in front of the two of them, saying, "Do you need any commission?"

"Yes, of course I want it!" Ai Tutu blurted out first, only to be grabbed by Mu Nujiao.

"TuTu, 300,000 is too much!" Mu Nujiao frowned and said, clearly hesitant about the price.

Chen Qing didn't say anything. With the current income of Glory Hunter, he really didn't care about a mere few hundred thousand.

Nowadays, apart from him and Dunshan, all the other members of the Glory Hunter's Guild are super-level mages. It's really beneath a super-level mage to take on a 300,000-dollar order.

He took the 300,000 yuan order for no other reason than so that he could take Xiaolingling out to play.

Ai Tutu blinked, somewhat bewildered, and said, "More than 300,000? That's less than my monthly allowance."

Mu Nujiao: ...

Chen Qing: Pear blossoms fall in front of your window.

"Ahem, so what difficulties have you encountered?" Chen Qing coughed lightly and asked.

"It's like this," Mu Nujiao said slowly, "Tutu and I opened a hot pot restaurant together, but unlike ordinary hot pot restaurants, all the meat we use is the flesh and blood of demons."

"To ensure the freshness of the demon meat, we first send the demons controlled by the imprisoning magic tools to the slaughterhouse not far from the hot pot restaurant to be slaughtered."

"But I don't know if there was a problem with the magic confinement tool, a slave-level demonic boar suddenly broke free and made a mess of the entire slaughterhouse."

"Since we were the ones who sent the demons to the slaughterhouse, we have to handle this matter and compensate the slaughterhouse owner with a large sum of money."

"That demonic boar is still locked up in the slaughterhouse. We have no choice but to come to the hunting camp to entrust it to us."

After Mu Nujiao finished speaking, a look of worry appeared on her face. After all, although her hot pot restaurant was profitable, the compensation she paid to the slaughterhouse had almost emptied her savings.

"A slave-level demon boar is nothing more than an ant to your Mu family. Why don't you go find the mage in your family instead of spending money to hire a hunter?"

After listening to Mu Nujiao's account, Chen Qing immediately understood the two women's purpose and then asked them with a puzzled look.

Mu Nujiao opened her mouth, then sighed and slowly said, "The people in my family won't handle this for me for free. I can't afford to pay them, so I can only..."

Upon hearing this, Chen Qing understood that if Mu Nujiao couldn't come up with the payment, then she might not be in control of the hot pot restaurant anymore.

Ai Tutu, however, seemed rather carefree. Her eyes darted around, a sly glint in them, and she said:

"How about... Chen Qing, you give us a discount, and we'll hire one of your hunting lodge's mid-level mages to deal with that wretched demonic boar!"

Chen Qing glanced at Ai Tutu and said quietly, "Our hunting camp doesn't have any mid-level mages at all."

Ai Tutu was stunned for a moment. "What the hell? How come there isn't even a mid-level mage?"

"We only accept orders over 300,000, and those prices are mostly for dealing with demons. Mid-level mages are too weak for that, so we don't want them."

Ai Tutu: ...

Mu Nujiao: ...

If even mid-level mages look down on us, then what are we beginner mages...?

"Then... what about high-level mages?" Ai Tutu asked again.

"There is one, but he's a mage of light, earth, and space, and he doesn't usually fight," Chen Qing said, thinking of Dunshan, the only high-level mage in the Glory Hunter's Guild.

"That's him! A high-level mage dealing with a slave-level demon is a piece of cake!" Ai Tutu slammed her hand on the table, her eyes shining. But then she seemed to remember something and spoke again:

"Wait a minute, doesn't your hunting lodge have a high-level girl, I think her name is... Ji Xiaoman? Isn't she also a high-level mage?"

"Oh, she broke through to the Super-Rank Mage level a few days ago." Chen Qing calmly uttered a few words that resonated like thunder in the ears of the two women.

"Super...super-level?!" Ai Tutu and Mu Nujiao both widened their beautiful eyes.

Both of them have powerful backgrounds, so they naturally know how difficult it is to break through the super-level barrier.

The fact that a girl who looked to be only about twenty years old had already broken through to the Super Rank shattered their worldview.

None of the super-level mages in their family are old; even the youngest is over thirty, which is considered middle-aged.

As for Ji Xiaoman, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call her a young girl.

"Yes, it's beyond the level." Chen Qing nodded. "So our hunting camp currently only has one high-level mage."

"Well... alright then, let's go with this high-level mage." Ai Tutu said somewhat dejectedly after her initial shock.

Chen Qing didn't know what was wrong with Ai Tutu, but he raised his eyebrows and asked, "Can you afford the fees for a high-level mage's intervention?"

Ai Tutu froze on the spot. "How much...how much?"

"Minimum 500,000."
