Just as Wallis was envisioning the future, all the lights in the warehouse suddenly went out without warning.

"What's going on?!"

"Boss! The circuit breaker tripped?"

"Damn it, someone go check the circuit breaker!"

A dozen or so gang members were in complete chaos. Some reached for weapons in the dark, some stood up and knocked over bottles, and some cursed as they pulled out their phones to light their way.

However, Wallis lived up to his reputation as a leader. Faced with the chaos among his men, his first reaction was to reach for the pistol at his waist, while simultaneously shrinking away from the oil drum.

"Don't move!"

Wallis growled in a low voice, instinctively sensing that something was wrong.

Even if the circuit breaker trips, the backup lighting should still turn on.

Although the warehouse had been abandoned for many years, they rewired it after moving in and installed a backup power supply, so there was no possibility of a power outage.

Wallis's finger was tightly gripping the trigger, and he blinked repeatedly, trying to adjust to the darkness.

"Boss..."

"Shut up!"

Wallis had just finished yelling when the window on the west side of the warehouse suddenly shattered.

Before they could react, a black shadow had already crashed through the wooden wall.

Then, bang! bang!

The two gunshots rang out almost simultaneously.

The two sentries standing at the door of the east compartment simultaneously tilted their heads back and collapsed to the ground as if their bones had been removed.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!!"

At this moment, Harris finally reacted, overturned the empty oil drum in front of him as cover, and fired a burst of his AR rifle into the darkness to the west.

But there was no one there anymore.

"There! Behind me!"

Just as another member of the 13th gang shouted, another dark figure cut in from the side. After three muffled thuds, the member collapsed to the ground, covered in blood.

"You damn bastard, come out! Come out!"

Seeing gunshots ringing out in the darkness, Barney grabbed the shotgun beside him and started firing wildly in all directions.

"Who the hell is this?! Come out and fight me if you dare!"

Barney yelled as he frantically pulled the handguard to reload.

The next second, his head suddenly tilted back, and he fell straight backward.

"Barney!!!"

Seeing his most loyal subordinate die suddenly, Wallis was filled with rage.

But there was no time for sadness.

Two more dark figures crashed through the metal sheeting used to reinforce the warehouse from the east side and rushed into the warehouse.

Including the previous two, there are four in total.

No, five.

A cracking sound also came from the direction of the warehouse's back door.

Wallis turned around abruptly, and by the dim light of the fire, he could vaguely see a tall, dark figure standing in the doorway.

However, since the warehouse was already completely dark, the person could not be seen clearly. All that could be seen was the rifle in the person's hand and some kind of special mechanical structure on his body.

"You bastards, I've come to send you on your way."

The moment the words fell, the five dark figures started moving simultaneously.

Wallis then saw one of the dark figures charging head-on at Carlos, his most ruthless subordinate.

Carlos then picked up a replica AK and opened fire.

At a distance of five meters, ten bullets were fired, all hitting the chest.

But the dark figure only paused for a moment before crashing into his arms, grabbing his throat, and lifting him up with one hand.

"Exoskeleton..."

Before he could finish speaking, the sound of his Adam's apple cracking echoed through the warehouse.

"Run! Run!! It's an exoskeleton!!"

Wallis finally realized what was happening, and as he shouted those words, he rolled toward the back compartments of the warehouse.

They couldn't care less about conquering territory or expanding their territory.

Survival is the most important thing.

But those shadowy figures were much faster than his men.

Five figures moved through the warehouse. With each gunshot, one person fell to the ground; with each close-quarters encounter, one person's bones were crushed.

Harris was hiding behind an oil drum, frantically changing magazines. Just as he finished and looked up, he saw a dark figure appear in front of him.

At such close range, and with the light emanating from some of the exoskeleton's components, he was finally able to make out who it was, but that was all.

Cheng Hongtu showed no emotion as he raised his M17A2 and pressed it against Harris's forehead.

"wait……"

Harris only managed to utter one word.

"Bang."

Cheng Hongtu pulled the trigger, then turned to look for his next target without even glancing at the fallen body.

After a short while, the gunfire in the main hall gradually subsided.

After the initial panic subsided, the members of the 13th Gang tried to organize resistance, but to no avail.

Their bullets struck the shadowy figures, causing them to pause for only a moment at most.

Every bullet fired by the enemy could kill them.

What's even more terrifying is the power granted by that exoskeleton.

A burly gang member tried to grab Peter and throw him to the ground.

But Peter, using his exoskeleton, instantly unleashed hundreds of kilograms of force, grabbed the man's arm with his backhand, and snapped it off.

Three minutes later, only sporadic groans remained in the main hall.

Wallis huddled in the corner of the east cubicle, his hands tightly covering his mouth, afraid to make a sound.

"Alpha Wolf, the main hall has been cleared, and all eleven have been confirmed dead."

"Received. Search every corner to confirm survivors."

Then Wallis heard the cubicle door being kicked open.

A beam of flashlight swept in and focused on his face.

Kirk looked down at Wallis, who was huddled in the corner, and the next second a gunshot rang out.

"Number 2 confirmed that no one escaped the net."

"Received from No. 1. Search on the west side, no survivors found."

"Received on the 3rd, searching the refrigeration equipment area on the east side."

Two minutes later, Cheng Hongtu, Nancy, Kirk, and Peter reunited in the center of the main hall.

Cheng Hongtu spoke first: "The count in the main hall is complete. A total of twelve people have been killed."

Nancy continued, "One person was found in the western storage area, hiding behind a refrigeration unit. He has been shot dead. There are no other survivors."

Kirk and Peter exchanged a glance, and Kirk spoke up: "We didn't find any escapees outside the back door of the warehouse. Also, we checked a corner of the warehouse and found a hidden storage room."

"Storage room?"

"Yes, it's partitioned off with scrap wood; you wouldn't notice it unless you looked closely," Peter added. "There's a lot of stuff inside, along with several sealed boxes and a portable safe."

Wilson nodded. "Lead the way."

The storage room wasn't large, only about ten square meters, but it was crammed full.

Several wooden shelves were piled with boxes of compressed biscuits, large quantities of drinking water, several boxes of first aid kits, and even a dozen cartons of cigarettes and several unopened bottles of whiskey.

Cheng Hongtu couldn't help but whistle, "These bastards have quite a few in stock."

Wilson didn't say anything, but walked straight to a small safe inside.

The safe wasn't large, only about forty centimeters long and wide, but it was quite heavy, and it was specially locked with an iron chain at the bottom, so it couldn't be opened without a key.

But this was no challenge for Wilson at all.

Wilson then crouched down, tapped on the safe, and then grabbed the lock with his right hand and snapped it open.
