Morgan first appeared in Geoffrey's "The Life of King Arthur" in the 13th century.

"In the original version, Morgan was a fairy who lived on the island of Avalon."

"But as time progressed, by the late Middle Ages, witchcraft became a target of hatred in Europe. People who practiced witchcraft were considered evil, even fictional characters in novels."
