Inside the ice cave, the atmosphere was incredibly lively.

The light from the campfire danced on the ice wall, illuminating faces that were either greedy or fierce.

Rudolf stood up, his red robes looking like they were stained with blood in the firelight.

"Everyone," he said in a low voice, but it drowned out the whispers, "according to the latest observations, the spiritual energy fluctuations in the valley will reach their peak tonight or tomorrow morning."

He paused, then scanned the crowd: "There will definitely be a major change then."

The ice cave fell silent.

"The Great Xia people have already put up couplets and door gods in their camp," Rudolf continued. "Those things are not simple; they are likely some kind of sealing or defensive artifact."

"What do you mean?" John Carter asked.

"We need to prepare in advance." A cold glint flashed in Rudolf's eyes. "We will use the power of the Snow Mountain Demon to weaken the Great Xia people."

"Snowy apes?" someone questioned. "Those beasts are so stupid, how could they possibly succeed?"

"It's precisely because of his low intelligence that he's easy to control." Rudolf pulled a small bottle of scarlet liquid from his pocket.

The bottle gleamed eerily in the firelight.

"Holy blood?" Mahadeva's eyes narrowed slightly.

"That's right." Rudolf nodded. "This small bottle is enough to drive the snow demons within a hundred miles into a frenzy and cause them to attack the Great Xia people's camp."

Everyone's eyes lit up.

Snow mountain goblins are a specialty of Kunlun. They have thick skin and flesh, and are incredibly strong. When they appear in groups, even S-level experts have to give them a wide berth.

If we could lure them to attack the camp...

"Great idea!" John Carter exclaimed. "We'll make our move after they and the Snow Demon are both severely weakened."

"That's exactly what I meant," Rudolf smiled.

After listening, everyone thought it was feasible.

And so the matter was settled.

The atmosphere inside the ice cave was even more intense, as if the treasures in the valley were already beckoning to them.

Finally, Rudolf added one more sentence.

"We must work together as one for this operation," he said seriously. "We'll discuss the distribution after we get the loot or enter the secret realm."

"If anyone tries anything funny during this time..."

His gaze swept across the entire room, his voice turning cold: "Don't blame me for being impolite."

As soon as he finished speaking, the twelve Templar Knights behind him stepped forward simultaneously.

The silver armor clashed, producing a clanging sound.

A powerful aura spread out, causing the campfire flames inside the ice cave to flicker.

"Of course, of course!"

"Bishop Rudolf is right!"

"We must unite!"

Everyone echoed this sentiment, their faces beaming with smiles.

But the glances they exchanged were filled with barely concealed hostility.

Unity?

It's laughable to talk about unity in a place like this.

It's simply that we still need each other's strength for now, so we're cooperating temporarily.

When it really came time to divide the treasure...

Everyone has their own agenda.

Rudolf saw this and sneered inwardly.

He knew, of course, that these people wouldn't really listen.

But it's okay.

If the plan goes smoothly, once the snow mountain demon breaks through the Great Xia people's defenses, once the treasure appears...

When the time comes, whoever has the bigger fist will have the final say.

……

Meanwhile.

Several miles away from the ice cave camp, in an extremely secluded ice crevice, seven or eight people wearing white cloaks gathered together.

They are from the land of cherry blossoms.

The leader was a young woman dressed as a shrine maiden with a cold and aloof expression.

Ruri the Shrine Maiden.

She looked to be in her early twenties, but her eyes were deep and her aura was restrained, clearly indicating that she was an A-level.

Beside her stood a thin man with sharp, piercing eyes.

Hattori Senzan, a successor of the Shadow Dancer, is skilled in stealth and assassination.

"Lady Ruri," Hattori Senzaki whispered, "Are we really not going to get involved?"

Liuli shook her head and slowly said, "Our goal is not what's in the valley; our purpose here is simply to find something."

She paused for a moment: "Once we clash with Great Xia, we will be the most targeted force, which will hinder us from completing our mission."

Hattori Senzan frowned: "But this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If there really is a secret realm or treasure in the valley, we..."

"Don't forget Lord Changji's orders," Ruri interrupted him.

Hattori Senzan was speechless.

Before setting off, Abe Shōkichi clearly instructed that the primary task was to retrieve the Kusanagi Sword, and that no unforeseen complications should arise.

Liuli continued, "After those extraordinary beings from other countries fought against Great Xia, regardless of the outcome, Great Xia's losses will be substantial."

"At that time, the Great Xia's control over Kunlun will weaken, making it easier for us to find the Heavenly Cloud Sword."

She looked at Hattori Chizuru: "More than eighty years have passed, and even though we have some exploration methods, it is still very difficult to find the battlefield ruins of that year in the complex environment of Kunlun."

"Isn't it better now that someone's helping us attract attention?"

Hattori Senzaki remained silent.

He had to admit that Liuli was right.

Their mission is to retrieve the Kusanagi Sword, not to seize the secret realm.

Getting caught up in the chaos would indeed be a losing proposition.

"I understand." Hattori Senzan finally nodded. "We will proceed according to the original plan and will not participate in the valley battle."

Liuli then closed her eyes again.

But in her heart, she was thinking about something else.

Just now, through the divine technique of Tsukuyomi, she vaguely sensed an extremely "special" aura coming from the direction of Valley Seven.

That wasn't an ordinary energy fluctuation.

Rather, it is a higher level of "majesty".

It was as if some supreme being had cast its gaze upon them.

"The Great Xia Dynasty... is indeed unfathomable," the priestess Ruri sighed inwardly.

……

Valley Seven Camp.

The sky was getting dark.

In winter, Kunlun has short days and long nights.

It was only four o'clock in the afternoon, but the sky was already starting to darken.

The lights came on in the camp.

Instead of electric lights, they consist of specially made fluorescent stones and several small solar-powered lamps.

It emitted a faint but steady light in the wind and snow.

Wei Zhixing stood at the entrance of the camp, looking at the Spring Festival couplet swaying slightly in the twilight, and felt a surge of emotions.

It's been half a day since it was pasted on.

The effects are becoming increasingly apparent.

The wind and snow have almost completely stopped.

It wasn't that the weather had improved, but rather that an invisible barrier had kept the wind and snow out of the camp.

The temperature inside the camp was at least five or six degrees higher than outside.

The most magical thing is spiritual energy.

The restless spiritual energy fluctuations deep in the valley have now become extremely calm.

Like a raging giant that has been calmed down.

"Boss." Zhou Kai walked over, holding a cup of hot water. "Have something hot to drink."

Wei Zhixing took it and drank a sip.

The hot water warmed me as I drank it.

"Zhou Kai, how long do you think... this couplet can last?" Wei Zhixing suddenly asked.

Zhou Kai was stunned for a moment, then scratched his head and said, "Boss, how would I know?"

Wei Zhixing nodded and said nothing more.

He looked into the depths of the valley.

There, a faint seven-colored light was shimmering.

It looked like something was being conceived.

"Tonight..." Wei Zhixing murmured to himself, "I'm afraid it won't be peaceful."
