The Second Precinct boasts the most comprehensive police training facility in East Timor. In fact, all police officer assessments in East Timor are now conducted at the police training center located next to the Second Precinct.

Although East Timorese police officers still need to go to the peacekeeping center in Australia for training, the police training center has gradually taken on some functions. The training center is currently building office and dormitory areas, and once completed, it will be handed over to the East Timorese authorities. It will be East Timor's first police academy.

It's only because it was located next to the Second Precinct that it is currently under the jurisdiction of the Second Precinct.

The police training center was built with aid from the United Nations and is fully equipped with standard physical training facilities, including a standard 400-meter synthetic track and an obstacle course (a combination of police obstacles such as low walls, deep pits, ladders, balance beams, and crawling nets).

The indoor fitness center includes a fitness assessment area equipped with a body fat analyzer, heart rate monitor, power tester, and endurance tester, which are used for fitness screening and regular assessment for new police officers.

The firearms training area includes indoor and outdoor shooting ranges.

There are even mock interrogation rooms and the like.

Walking along the green path in the training center, Gao Tiejun asked in surprise, "You mean the test is based on the standards for armed police officers?"

The physical fitness tests conducted on prosecutors assigned to dangerous areas are, of course, different from those conducted on armed police officers.

Zhou Hong smiled and said, "Yes."

Little Brown Girl and Clara followed them in, and exchanged a surprised glance without saying a word.

Little Black followed at the back, while Niang Jiji seemed to enjoy watching the excitement.

Gao Tiejun gave Zhou Hong a deep look: "Alright, I'll make the arrangements!"

……

The first thing was the physical fitness test. The high-speed rail crew timed it, and in the huge obstacle course, there were only three spectators: Little Brown Girl, Clara, and Little Black Girl.

After a few minutes of testing, the high-speed rail team was completely dumbfounded.

In the training field, a figure could be seen climbing ropes, scaling walls, swimming, and crossing mud pits. No matter what the obstacle was, it was as if it did not exist in front of this figure.

Zhou Hong started very fast, and Gao Tiejun shook his head, saying that this couldn't last long. However, prosecutors can't be too demanding when conducting tests on police officers.

Who knew that this guy in the field maintained high speed the whole time. After he finished all the obstacles in the obstacle course, Gao Tiejun looked at the number on the timer and could hardly believe his eyes. 2 minutes?

It seems the one-way record for this obstacle course is over 3 minutes, which is a huge difference!

At this moment, Zhou Hong began to quickly crawl back through the crawling net.

The complete 2000-meter obstacle course test consists of going from the start to the finish line and back to the start line, repeated four times.

"Click," the high-speed rail crew pressed the timer, "8 minutes and 4 seconds."

Does the fact that this guy maintained a constant speed mean he still had energy left? Was he constantly controlling his speed?

The high-speed rail team immediately dismissed this absurd idea. How could that be? Even with real speed control, it couldn't be that precise. It must be a coincidence.

Even if it's a coincidence, this is still too exaggerated. A 2000-meter obstacle course is only about 8 minutes long for a young police officer.

Little Brown Girl and Clara didn't understand these things, but they could see with their own eyes that "the boss" had amazing physical abilities, so they clapped and cheered.

……

The training center's target practice room has always been popular, not only for peacekeeping military and police personnel to relieve stress during their holidays, but also for an external fee.

There were especially many people today, including a team of local police officers awaiting training.

There were also outsiders paying for target practice, including several tourists.

After waiting for more than half an hour, Zhou Hong's test items were finally arranged.

First was the pistol accuracy test, 25 meters away, 5 bullets, standing position without support; next was rapid fire, 15 meters away, 10 bullets, timed for 10 seconds; finally, shooting at a moving target.

Then comes advanced rifle shooting, which also includes three aspects: accuracy, timed rapid fire, and moving target.

After emerging from the target chamber, it wasn't just Gao Tiejun and Xiao Zongmei who were watching from outside the bulletproof glass the entire time.

Director Xu Xiaolin appeared out of nowhere, beaming, "Prosecutor Hong, you're not just good, you're exceptionally outstanding!"

"Brother Xu, what brings you here?" Zhou Hong scratched his head. After all, the other person was a real historical figure, while he had a system, making him seem like the protagonist of a novel in a parallel world, which was a bit illegitimate.

"Your brother Gao insisted on calling me to see the monster, haha!" Xu Xiaolin patted Zhou Hong's shoulder hard, as if he had discovered a treasure.

"Prosecutor Hong..." Xu Xiaolin was about to speak again when Zhou Hong hurriedly said, "Brother Xu, you can just call me Xiao Hong from now on, or Zhou Hong. That's my name in China."

"Alright, Xiao Hong!" Xu Xiaolin didn't mince words and said with interest, "Let's go to the ring. I'll find you an opponent, how about it?"

Zhou Hong smiled and said, "Whatever."

"Don't be so casual. Have you ever practiced Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) or Muay Thai?" Xu Xiaolin asked curiously.

Zhou Hong coughed and said, "I know a little bit of Chinese KONGFU..."

"You little rascal!" Xu Xiaolin laughed heartily.

……

A few minutes later, on the Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) ring, a chubby guy stood opposite Zhou Hong.

The two men were roughly the same weight, but Zhou Hong was much taller, while the other man was like a mountain of flesh.

There were many onlookers this time, including Little Brown Girl and Clara, as well as many officers from the Second Precinct who rushed over after hearing the news.

Everyone was whispering about the new "prosecutor," comparing him to the "Australian boxing champion" in the department. How could they possibly be comparable?

"Director Xu, this is a tough fight against Prosecutor Hong! How do we fight it?" Gao Tiejun, standing next to Xu Xiaolin, smiled bitterly.

Indeed, they are about the same weight, but the boxing champion's center of gravity is much lower, and his lower body is several times more solid than the taller one. How can you fight him?

"I don't know why, but I feel like there's a chance. I've wanted to find someone to teach that guy Freiro a lesson for a long time. He's too arrogant!" Xu Xiaolin's eyes were filled with excited anticipation.

"Too skinny, and too tall..." Gao Tiejun seemed very worried about Zhou Hong, after all, he was one of their own. Freiro, on the other hand, was a fat guy from Australia who had fought in amateur boxing matches and had a pretty good record.

"Watch carefully. If it really doesn't work, call a halt quickly..." As the moment approached, Xu Xiaolin finally felt a little uneasy.

Putting aside compatriots, he's a prosecutor from the country of Elephant; if something goes wrong, the problem will be huge.

"Start!" The referee on the stage waved between the two players.

"Bang!" Suddenly, just like in the story of "pushing down a mountain of gold and collapsing a jade pillar," the fat man fell heavily backward, causing the arena to tremble and the entire arena to fall silent.

Several Australian rednecks who had been happily betting on how many rounds it would take for Zhou Hong to fall were immediately dumbfounded.

Zhou Hong maintained his side kick stance and slowly retracted his foot.

It was obvious that at the moment of "starting", Zhou Hong practically "flashed" to the fat man and delivered a high sweeping kick with the momentum of the impact, directly hitting the fat man's temple area with his helmet, knocking the fat man unconscious to the ground. If he hadn't been wearing protective gear, the fat man would probably have been kicked to death.

The referee forgot to count down, but luckily the fat guy shook his head and tried to get up after only two seconds.

The referee then came to his senses and ran over to loudly count down the seconds.

When he counted to "nine", the fat man finally stood up, but the next moment...

"Thump..." The fat man, who had just staggered to his feet, stumbled and fell down again.

The referee shook his head and waved his hands, signaling to stop the game.

A buzzing sound filled the room as onlookers chattered amongst themselves.

Little Brown Girl screamed with excitement, almost jumping up.

Clara glanced at Zhou Hong with her deep blue eyes, seemingly lost in thought.

Zhou Hong had already lightly jumped off the stage and arrived in front of Xu Xiaolin.

Xu Xiaolin excitedly gave Zhou Hong a big bear hug and laughed heartily, "Chinese Kung Fu? Haha, amazing, amazing!"

Gao Tiejun nodded blankly.

As he left the training field, seeing no one around, Xu Xiaolin sighed, "It's a pity we're so insignificant; otherwise, wouldn't it be wonderful to specially recruit such talent back to China?"

Gao Tiejun could only remain silent. It was certain that Brother Xu would be promoted exceptionally if he returned, but if he hadn't gained prestige in East Timor, being a section-level cadre would probably have been the end of Brother Xu's police career.

You're overthinking the rest.

That being said, it's clear that Prosecutor Ren Hong is not someone who is underappreciated. His family roots are all overseas, and he's living a very comfortable life. Do you think he would be willing to return to China?

Thinking about this, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself.

……

The Land Rover slowly drove along the main street of Dili, the coastal road, which is the most central and famous main road in Dili. It stretches about 2 kilometers east and west along Dili Bay and is the core axis of government and business activities.

To its north lies Dili Port, and to its south is the Presidential Palace, which is also the headquarters of UNMISET and the location of major international organizations.

The asphalt road that was repaired last year is one of the few fully paved roads in Dili today.

Inside the car were Zhou Hong, Xiao Zongmei, Clara, and Xiao Hei.

"Boss, lunch's on me today, to celebrate!" Little Brown Girl's eyes were glazed over, still caught up in the excitement of the ring match. The intense clash of male hormones was making her feel extremely stimulated.

Xiao Hei seemed even more excited, "My treat! My treat!"

Zhou Hong was speechless, then coughed and said, "Anything is fine, but let's go somewhere first. I feel like our office is too small. We don't even have a dedicated case analysis room, let alone anything else. I've rented a place. I'll take you to see it. From now on, you can work overtime there." As he spoke, Zhou Hong stepped on the gas, and the Land Rover accelerated, but stopped after a short while.

Currently, there are no more than fifty houses in East Timor that can be considered villas, most of which are located in Dili and are relatively clustered together, especially the villas that are considered "luxury" by local standards, which are all located in the city center.

This includes the "KODIM Residence" that Zhou Hong's advance team rented for the boss.

Located behind the Presidential Palace, directly opposite the "Government Palace (Palácio do Governo)," which is the temporary administrative center of the United Nations Support Mission in East Timor (UNMISET), and 200 meters to the southwest is the CSC, which translates to Beehive Market, the current commercial center of Dili.

Kodim Residence.

The name KODIM is an abbreviation for the Indonesian Military District Command. This villa was the official residence of the commander of the Indonesian occupation forces at that time.

The surrounding smaller villas were also the residences of high-ranking officers of the occupying forces back then.

These villas were residences for senior officials of the support mission. When Zhou Hong's "outpost" arrived, the Norwegian prosecutor general, who had been renting the Kodim residence, happened to be returning home. The other international prosecutors who shared the villa were also about to be rotated back to their home countries, and were in the same period as Zhou Hong's predecessor.

The "Outpost" then rented the entire "KODIM Residence" for an annual rent of US$5.

The money being used was the charity fund of the "East Timor Residence". Zhou Hong was helpless. It seemed that as long as he was engaged in economic activities in East Timor, the system would judge that he was doing charity and helping the people of East Timor.

Therefore, should the charity fund be given the highest priority in the order of deductions?
