Lin Dao smiled slightly; the timing was perfect.

He handed the ball to Shen Yu'er: "They've chosen you. For the rest of the journey, you'll be their 'guide' and 'temporary trainer'."

She reached out and gently touched a Poké Ball to Snivy's forehead.

The vine snake did not dodge, but instead went to meet it.

Next, she tapped the Poké Balls at the two Foam Squirrels one by one.

Although they were a little nervous, they bravely accepted the task after the Snivy was subdued.

"Pick one; consider it a 'travel gift' I'm giving to you and your new friends."

Shen Yu'er chose a dark gray technical fiber belt with subtle patterns. It was soft to the touch and very lightweight.

She carefully fastened the three Emerald Balls to her belt and adjusted their positions.

The Poké Ball's rustic pattern blended strangely with her modern attire, creating a unique sense of harmony.

Just then, the hovercar smoothly passed through the checkpoint.

The checkpoint automatically scans the vehicle, and after the camera recognizes the license plate and the pre-registered special passage permit, the barrier lifts, and the entire process can be completed without stopping.

"Identity verification successful. Welcome to Chengdu. Please abide by the city's Pokémon management regulations," a gentle electronic voice prompted.

As vehicles merge into the traffic on Chengdu's main thoroughfares, the view outside the window immediately changes.

This city, which once shrank due to disaster, is now showing amazing vitality.

The streets are bustling with traffic. Although traditional fuel vehicles are no longer common, they have been replaced by all kinds of new energy vehicles and more attractive hovercraft (including the "Fengchi" series that Baoyunda Company has just started delivering).

A long queue formed outside a newly opened "Poké Ball Cafe" next to the strictly guarded Pokémon Park; inside the park, parents were seen with their children carefully scanning Caterpie on tree branches with their Pokédex; and a young man was even seen riding a muscular Dodruply, nimbly weaving through the park, attracting the attention and photos of passersby.

"Things change so fast," Shen Yu'er sighed softly.

In just a few months, Pokémon have transformed from fearsome "visitors from another world" into "new neighbors" and "new economic engines" that are gradually integrating into daily life.

The hovercar silently drove into the designated "VIP vehicle parking area" at the train station.

There is also strict security here, but the license plates of the vehicles on the forest road have already been registered in the system.

As soon as the vehicle came to a stop, several people in railway uniforms, who were clearly station management personnel, quickly came to greet it.

Several successful people glanced up, but out of politeness and experience, they didn't look at them too closely and quickly returned to their own business.

The couple glanced at them a few more times, their attention quickly drawn to the Emerald Poké Balls on Lin Dao and Shen Yu'er's waists, and they began to whisper among themselves.

The train slowly started moving and gradually accelerated, and the cityscape outside the window began to rush past.

However, shortly after the train left Rongcheng Station and passed through a rural-urban fringe area where the surrounding view became relatively open, the accident occurred.

Perhaps it was her first time riding a high-speed train and she was curious about the enclosed environment of the carriage, or perhaps she thought she had escaped the "shackles" of the city. Almost simultaneously, the Green Poké Balls belonging to Snivy and a Foam Squirrel on Shen Yu'er's waist opened automatically!

A flash of red light, and Snivy and a Foam Chipmunk appeared out of nowhere in the passageway!

The Snivy maintained its elegant stance, curiously looking around at the gleaming metallic interior and the rushing scenery outside the window; the Foam Squirrel, on the other hand, was clearly a little confused and instinctively tried to crawl under the seat.

"Ah!" Shen Yu'er exclaimed softly, flustered and disorganized.

Lin Dao reacted very quickly and immediately got up.

The sudden appearance of a Pokémon left the passengers in the same carriage stunned.

Fortunately, none of these eight people harbored any fear or hostility towards Pokémon.

The four businessmen merely raised their eyebrows, slightly surprised; the couple's eyes widened, their faces beaming with "I've hit the jackpot"; the masked woman and her secretary also stopped their conversation and watched with great interest.
