League: Educating LPL is my duty.

On November 21, the LPL transfer window officially opened, and all teams immediately began their respective operations.

Many teams have set their sights on EDG. From Li Chen to Scout, and even Clearlove and Zet, people have called to inquire about their transfer intentions.

Li Chen's phone rang non-stop from 7 a.m. onwards. All thirteen LPL teams called, including RNG.

It's not that Bai Xing really intends to sign Li Chen, but she just wants to make a statement to outsiders, since it's impossible to form the strongest all-Chinese team without Li Chen.

At the same time, EDG also made a move that no one could understand.

Regarding player roster, Sima Laozei from OMG, xiye from WE, and Flandre and Zz1tai from the former Snake Esports team and now Li-Ning team have all received transfer offers from EDG.

Furthermore, EDG has contacted both Hongmi and Zhu Kai regarding their coaching, almost indicating their intention to rebuild the team.

This puzzling move was noticed by all the teams, and everyone was wondering what EDG was up to.

Later that afternoon, someone online claimed to have seen someone resembling Li Chen at the hospital, but because he was wearing a mask, his face was not visible in the photos.

However, in the two photos, the person's right hand was still bandaged in the first photo, but it had been removed in the second photo.

Netizens guessed that Li Chen's injury had healed, so he removed the gauze, and they flocked to Li Chen's Weibo to inquire about the situation.

[C, come out and say something, how's your injury recovery going?]

[Log in now! The Summit of the Rift needs your encouragement!]

[C, swear you'll give me good news!]

The transfer window has already opened, why don't you say something?!

[If you dare retire, I'll unfollow you immediately (crying)]

Li Chen did not give any response online, allowing various versions of rumors to circulate online.

After removing the gauze, he dismissed the factory manager, who was his personal photographer, and spent the entire afternoon shopping with a certain hater.

Seeing that Li Chen was pretending to be dead again, netizens decisively turned their attention to EDG's official Weibo account, and began to inquire about the contract renewal results of the players for the new season.

EDG quickly responded on Weibo:

Thank you to all the fans for your support of EDG team and players. Currently, the starting jungler is Clearlove7, the starting mid laner is Scout, the starting support is Meiko, and the substitute top laner is mouse whose contract has not yet expired.

The new contracts for the remaining players and coaches are being actively pursued by their respective teams. We will notify everyone as soon as there is any confirmed news. Thank you!

(The little bear makes a heart shape with its hands)

As soon as the official announcement was released, before the fans could even speak, all the major teams immediately swam over, drawn by the smell of fish.

EDG has personally confirmed that Li Chen's contract has expired and has not been renewed. This news is extremely important.

Boss Wang, who had been craving Li Chen for a whole year, immediately called for the second time today: "Hey, hey, can you hear me? Chen, what are you doing? If you're free, come sit on IG. It's my treat tonight, let's relax and chat."

"Mr. Wang, let's forget about it. I'm really busy today," Li Chen said, glancing at Qianqian beside him.

Boss Wang didn't care about any of that and immediately started to sow discord: "What do you mean by busy? We're talking about serious business. That guy Ed Zhu is dishonest. You played for him for a year and he didn't even renew your contract in advance. I can't stand it."

"Okay, just pack your things, and I'll arrange for someone to pick you up right now. It's just a three million breach of contract fee, right? I'll scrape together five million for him as a thank you for taking care of you this year. When you come to IG, you can ask for any salary you want."

Li Chen's lips twitched slightly beneath his mask. Principal Wang's behind-the-scenes gossip about Ed Zhu meant he still harbored resentment about Ed Zhu sending the factory manager to follow the two of them.

"Let's wait and see. I just had the bandages removed today and haven't checked how the recovery is going yet. If it doesn't recover well, I might not get it done next year."

Upon hearing Li Chen's words, Boss Wang paused, lowering his voice to ask, "What happened? Your recovery... isn't going very well?"

"It's hard to say. I still feel a bit uncomfortable. I don't feel as agile as before. I might need to recover a bit more." Li Chen lied without batting an eye.

"Sigh, it's all Ed Zhu's fault. He knew you were injured but still made you play in the finals. I would never have done that. Isn't that ruining your future?"

Boss Wang complained about Ed Zhu again, then said, "Here's what we'll do: no matter how well you recover, I'll always keep a light on for you here. As long as you come, I can't give you an annual salary of less than 30 million."

"Then I'll thank you in advance, Brother Wang. I might really have to come and seek refuge with you later," Li Chen replied.

After they hung up the phone, in the IG office, Su Xiaoluo hurriedly asked, "Boss, is he really not fully recovered?"

Boss Wang frowned and said, "It's possible. Ah Chen is a kind person. I offered him so much money to poach him during the Spring Split, but he wouldn't come. He said he wanted to repay EDG for their kindness. Now that he hasn't signed a contract, there might really be a problem."

"That's great! If he's really finished, we have TheShy and Duke. Next year, we'll be in a league of our own in the top lane. Plus Rookie in the mid lane, and JackeyLove can also play. We really have a chance to win the championship," Su Xiaoluo said excitedly.

"Sigh, what a pity. Let's see how it goes. If he's really willing to come, we'll sign him for 30 million a year. That's like buying his popularity."

Boss Wang shook his head, clearly indicating that Li Chen, whose strength had declined, was no longer worth a higher price.

On the other side, after hanging up with Boss Wang, Li Chen received a series of calls from various teams.

Li Chen's response was that his injury recovery was uncertain and it was hard to say whether he would play next year, which meant he had completely released the information.

Sisi watched as Li Chen spent an hour on the phone, and just as she was about to speak with a frustrated expression, another call came in.

Li Chen glanced at the number; there was no contact information and it was a landline. He smiled and reassured her, "This should be the brokerage firm I contacted before."

However, as soon as Li Chen answered the phone, a pure Berlin accent immediately rang out from the other end.

"God丶C, I'm Leon, the manager of G2 Esports. I've heard that you haven't renewed your contract with EDG for next year yet. I was wondering if you might be interested in joining G2?"
