An hour and a half later, the movie ended.

Li Yanshen went on stage to greet the audience, but it wasn't as grand as Yu Lian had imagined—there was no host or reporters. He simply handed out autographs to fans with the help of his assistant.

There were hundreds of people, and the group waited for more than an hour before they finally saw Li Yanshen, who had managed to free himself.

He held in his hands the gifts for the children, all chosen according to their preferences, each one perfectly suited to their tastes. Even An'an, unusually, accepted them and said thank you.

Yu Lian followed Li Yanshen to the car.

"What did you say?"

"Has the matter been resolved?"

"That's good, things are gradually progressing according to..."

"I'm referring to the conflict between you and He Lin. If there isn't one, I can help."

When Li Yanshen said this, Yu Lian became even more curious—how could Li Yanshen, as an outsider, help with their marital problems?

"How can you help?"

"I have a lot of dirt on him. If he refuses to admit his mistakes... just kidding. It's good that you two are okay. I just think you're so different. If it were someone else who got scammed, they would definitely make a big deal out of it."

Yu Lian knew he was referring to the time He Lin lied to her.

"If I had known before we got married, I probably wouldn't have married him. But we got married, which means I considered it carefully. Marriage is not a game, and I won't have any conflicts with him over this. His intentions weren't bad, but they weren't exactly good either; at least they didn't hurt our feelings at the time."

Li Yanshen lowered his head knowingly, pondered for a moment, and said, "So that's what you're thinking. But don't you know? If someone can deceive you once, they'll deceive you a second time..."

Before he could finish speaking, a figure stepped between the two, and Li Yanshen was knocked to the ground.

"I knew you had no good intentions! You've always been after my wife!"

If Yu Lian doesn't stop it, then tomorrow will be filled with gossip and scandals.

"He Lin!"

After a stern warning, He Lin stopped, but he still seemed unconvinced and kicked Li Yanshen again.

Yu Lian gave him another warning look, and this time He Lin obediently stood aside, his face displeased as he withdrew his fists and feet.

Yu Lian pulled the person up and sat them down to the side.

"Li Yanshen, are you alright?"

She turned around, opened the trunk, took out a small first-aid kit, and applied medicine to Li Yanshen.

"I'll do it, don't do it."

How could Yu Lian trust He Lin? She was afraid that if she wasn't careful, Li Yanshen would collapse again. Li Yanshen was a public figure now, and such behavior would affect his career, especially since his new movie had just been released…

"He Lin, I'll say it again, stand properly."

Despite being hit, Li Yanshen wasn't worried at all. When his assistant arrived and saw Li Yanshen's disfigured face, he almost screamed.

"Who did this! Who did this! Is there no law in broad daylight?!"

He Lin said impatiently, "Me."

"Hello, hello Mr. He. Is there some unresolved conflict? Or is there a misunderstanding?"

He Lin remained silent, only staring intently at Li Yanshen, who was feigning pitifulness.

"If you don't shut your filthy mouth and try to sow discord between my wife and me, I will..."

"You know nothing. He Lin, get in the passenger seat."

Just moments ago, the mighty lion was invincible, but now, because of a single sentence, it wilted like a vegetable stalk.

Li Yanshen's assistant pursed his lips tightly, staring incredulously at everything before him.

"Brother Li, do you need me to get involved?"

Li Yanshen waved his hand: "It's nothing, just a minor friction. I'll still participate in tomorrow's activities as usual."

"But your lip is cut."

"It's alright, just say you fell by accident."

No normal person can be fooled, let alone those sharp-eyed entertainment reporters.

Yu Lian advised, "Forget it. I remember your event tomorrow is an interview, let's move it to the day after tomorrow. Don't worry about offending anyone, I happen to know that boss. This time it was my fault, give me a chance to make amends. As for the premiere's popularity, don't worry, we can cooperate with your promotion these two days, consider it an apology."

Li Yanshen put away the first-aid kit on his lap: "Never mind, you didn't do anything wrong. President He always misunderstands our relationship, which is indeed a bit unpredictable. But it's okay, I'm used to it."

After handing the medicine box back to Yu Lian, Li Yanshen left with his assistant.

Yu Lian watched them leave from where she stood: "Are you angry?"

She was startled by He Lin's sudden appearance earlier, and she was completely unprepared. How much more so for Li Yanshen, who had taken a real punch.

Yu Lian wondered why He Lin always lost control whenever he saw Li Yanshen.

"Aren't you leaving yet? Are you reluctant to go?"

He Lin suddenly appeared behind her, and Yu Lian angrily threw the medicine box at him: "I can't bear to part with it, I can't bear to part with it, are you satisfied now?"

"You really can't bear to part with it?"

"You said it, right? I can't bear to part with it, so why are you unhappy?"

After Yu Lian finished speaking, she got into the car, and He Lin followed her into the passenger seat.

Back in the car, the two remained silent.

Although they didn't hear much, the children watched as their own father knocked Uncle Li to the ground.

The one who was most angry was He Ningchuan.

He complained, "Dad, you're like a wild man."

"Yes, then you're a little savage!"

"I'm a little wild man, but I'm not one to hit people randomly. You'll set a bad example for the children."

"Would you like Uncle Li to be your father? Then go ahead and acknowledge him as your father, and change your surname to Li, and your name to Li Ningchuan, okay?"

He Lin may seem to be arguing with a child, but he is actually saying it all to Yu Lian.

He Ningchuan was taken aback by these words, then tentatively asked, "Dad, are you telling the truth?"

He snorted angrily, "Of course it's true. If any of you really like Uncle Li, you can change your surname to Li and stop being my child from now on."

"Yay! Mom, do you agree? From now on, I'll be the son of a martial arts superstar! Won't I be super proud at school?"

These words made everyone in the car burst into laughter. Only He Lin, who had shot himself in the foot, was so angry that his face turned ashen and he didn't want to say a word.

"Little sister, you should change your name to Li Ningxi from now on. Let's see who in our class dares to bully you then."

"You're right, brother. Let's see who dares to bully me again!"

After fiddling with his younger sister, He Ningchuan rolled over and knelt on the car seat, looking at his older brother in the back: "Brother, you should change your name to Li Ning'an. From now on, we'll live with Uncle Li... no, Dad Li in Singapore. You can go to the botanical garden every day, right?"

He Ning'an looked at the plant specimen in her hand and nodded in agreement with her younger brother.

"Alright, alright, let's just let this go and not bring it up again."

Yu Lian intervened to stop him. He Ningchuan, however, persisted, asking, "Mom, when are you going to take me to change my name?"

Concentrating on driving, Yu Lian really couldn't spare a moment to deal with her son: "In a couple of days, in a couple of days, okay?"

"Okay, Mom, I'll wait."

He Lin's reaction was so strong that Yu Lian's mind was filled with Li Yanshen's unfinished words. Maybe she could ask him about it next time.

Glancing at the people around her out of the corner of her eye, Yu Lian decided that she absolutely couldn't let He Lin know next time—he completely lost his rationality when faced with this kind of situation, and was not like a human being at all.
