Chapter 91 One Shot and You're Gone

"Smack."

It was a very faint sound, like a bubble bursting.

Immediately afterwards, a blinding white light burst forth in front of the dark office building.

"Buzz—!"

The deafening explosion echoed within the enclosed courtyard walls, like a heavy bomb exploding right next to your eardrums.

That was the first stun grenade that Chen An threw.

Those who had just rushed through the gate on snowmobiles.

Just as the Black Brotherhood thugs were about to throw the Molotov cocktail at the office building, they instantly lost their sight and hearing.

"Ah! My eyes!"

"What is that?! I can't see the road!"

In the chaos, several snowmobiles lost control.

Some people even crashed into Chen An's black G-Class, which was parked at the entrance as cover, because they couldn't see it.

"Let's do it."

Chen An coldly gave the order in the darkness.

He kicked the office window, which already had cracks, and smashed it.

Jessica was leaning on the windowsill, holding the AR-15 that had tremendous recoil for her. Although her hand was trembling, her eyes were unusually fierce.

"Die, you bastards!"

"Rat-a-tat-tat—!"

Flames shot out from the muzzle of the gun.

Although the accuracy wasn't great, the dense barrage of bullets hit the fuel tanks and engines of those motorcycles, sending up a series of sparks.

The rioters, who had just recovered a little from their blindness, were so frightened that they could only lie on the snow and dare not raise their heads.

On the other side, however, was the real carnage.

Irina.

This female factory manager, who usually only deals with reactors and ores, has now transformed into a true Valkyrie in the snowy night.

She kicked the door open and rushed out.

The shotgun in his hand, with its barrel sawed off, was practically the Grim Reaper's scythe at close range.

"boom!"

A loud bang.

A burly man who was about to get up and raise his gun to fight back was shot in the chest by Irina.

He flew backward and crashed into a pile of discarded oil drums.

Irina skillfully snapped open the barrel, sending two smoking cartridge cases flying, and a new bullet was instantly loaded.

"This is Polaris! Not a place for you to run wild!"

Her roar, with its heavy trilled "r" sounds, was more chilling than the sound of gunfire.

Chen An watched this scene unfold, and he didn't remain idle.

He slid out of the side door like a black panther, clutching the Glock pistol that was better suited for maneuvering through obstacles.

He used the massive reactor tanks as cover, moving swiftly in the shadows.

"Over there! That yellow-skinned monkey is over there!"

A sharp-eyed mobster spotted him and opened fire with a submachine gun.

"Da da da da!"

The bullet hit the steel can, sending sparks flying.

Chen An rolled over and hid in a blind spot.

The next second, he leaned out from another direction, raising his gun with both hands without any hesitation.

"Bang! Bang!"

Two shots to the chest, one shot to the brow.

The thug collapsed limply before he could even scream.

This is a one-sided massacre.

The owner of Titan Manor, along with a fierce female factory manager, a sassy female secretary who's already bloodthirsty, and plenty of firepower.

This makeshift combat team actually managed to defeat the usually domineering biker gang so decisively that they were completely powerless to fight back.

"Set it on fire! Burn the house down!"

The leader, the guy with the big beard, was the one whose car Chen An hit during the day.

Hiding behind an overturned snowmobile, he yelled frantically, "Force them out!"

Two henchmen lit the Molotov cocktail bottles in their hands, about to throw them away.

"Bang!"

A muffled gunshot rang out in the distance.

That was Chen An snatching the AR-15 from Jessica and firing a long-range burst.

The bullet struck precisely the Molotov cocktail that one of the thugs was holding aloft.

"Whoosh—Boom!"

The Molotov cocktail exploded in the thug's hands.

The fierce flames instantly engulfed him and his companions.

That unfortunate fellow turned into a human torch, screaming and rolling around in the snow; the scene was extremely gruesome.

"My God..." The bearded man's mental defenses completely collapsed as he watched this scene.

This isn't about taking over territory.

This is suicide!

"Retreat! Retreat now!"

The bearded man yelled, trying to start his motorcycle, which was still running.

But just as his hand touched the handlebars...

A cold gun barrel was pressed against the back of his head.

"If you dare to move an inch."

Chen An's voice rang out behind him, like a chilling wind from hell, "I'll smear your brains on this car."

………………

The battle ended quickly.

A dozen minutes later.

The once pristine white snowfield on the factory's open ground had become a mess.

Black engine oil, red blood, and burning wreckage were mixed together.

Seven or eight thugs who hadn't been killed knelt on the ground, their hands covering their heads, shivering in the sub-zero wind.

The unfortunate man who had been burned was still groaning in the snowdrift, but no one dared to pay him any attention.

The bearded man knelt at the front, his face covered in blood as Irina smashed him with the butt of her gun.

"Don't kill me...don't kill me! We're just doing this for money!" The bearded man cried, tears and snot streaming down his face.

Chen An sat on the motorcycle seat and lit a cigarette.

"Taking money to do things?"

Chen An exhaled a smoke ring, his eyes indifferent. "How much did Old Joe pay you? Was it worth risking your lives for?"

"Five...five hundred thousand..." the bearded man stammered. "He said if we kill you, we can take whatever we want from this factory..."

"Five hundred thousand."

Chen An laughed, a cold laugh. "It seems that in Old Qiao's eyes, my life is not worth much."

He looked to the side.

Irina was pointing her shotgun at the prisoners, her chest heaving, her eyes filled with the satisfaction of revenge.

Jessica leaned against the car door, her face pale.

The brutal scene she had just witnessed clearly made her feel nauseous, but she still gripped the gun tightly and showed no fear.

"Irina," Chen An called out.

"Yes." The Valkyrie turned her head.

"These men are yours."

Chen An pointed to the prisoners and said, "This is your territory, so do things your way."

"Whether you throw them into the frozen lake to feed the fish, or break their legs and throw them on the roadside to make popsicles, it's up to you."

Irina was taken aback.

She looked at Chen An, a complex light flashing in her eyes.

This man entrusted her with the power of life and death.

This is not only a matter of trust, but also an opportunity for her to vent her hatred and regain her authority.

"Thanks."

Irina nodded, turned to look at the bearded man, and pulled the bolt of her shotgun.

"No...no!" The bearded man was so scared he wet himself.

"Bang!"

Irina fired the shot.

But instead of hitting his head, she slammed it into a piece of sheet metal next to the big beard, making a deafening noise.

"This is a warning."

Irina said coldly, "Leave all your cars, weapons, and money behind."

"Then... get out of here. If anyone dares to show their face in Ice Creek Town again, I'll stuff them into the steel furnace."

The rioters, as if granted a pardon, scrambled out of the area, not even daring to take the few snowmobiles that weren't broken.

Watching those figures flee in disarray, Chen An did not stop them.

Killing is not the goal.

Along this border, sometimes leaving a few survivors to go back and report is more intimidating than leaving corpses.

Kill the chicken and the monkey!
