Chapter 48 Teaches You How to Shoot a Gun

The bathroom door was ajar.

Jessica was sitting on the floor tiles, clutching her ankle, looking pained.

The newly bought leather shoes were kicked aside, and a little blood seeped through the white stockings.

The blisters were caused by standing for too long during the day.

In addition, I was drunk earlier and lost my balance, twisted my ankle, and the blister burst, causing bleeding.

"What's going on?" Chen An pushed open the door and went in.

The bathroom was filled with steam, and Jessica seemed to be getting ready to take a shower.

The zipper on the skirt was already half open, revealing a large expanse of snow-white skin on her back.

When she saw Chen An come in, she tried to cover herself in a panic, but the sharp pain in her ankle made her unable to move.

"I wanted to take a shower... but the floor was too slippery... and I lost my balance..." Jessica looked at him with teary eyes.

Chen An sighed.

"What a troublemaker."

He walked over, not avoiding any appearance of impropriety, but instead squatted down and grasped the injured ankle.

The white stockings were worn through, the heels were bloody and raw, and the ankles were red and swollen.

"No bones are broken, it's just a sprain."

Chen An checked it over and then looked up.

As she looked up, her gaze met Jessica's chest, which seemed to be jumping out of her corset.

Close at hand.

The air in the bathroom seemed to freeze.

Jessica's breathing quickened as she looked at the man squatting in front of her.

I could smell the mature scent on him, a blend of red wine, cologne, and tobacco.

The alcohol hit me again.

"That...medicated oil..." Jessica's voice was barely audible.

"Could you please rub your medicated oil on for me again?"

This was a test.

It was also an invitation.

Chen An's gaze deepened.

He slowly stood up, but did not answer immediately.

Instead, he took a bath towel from the shelf and covered Jessica with it, concealing the full bloom of spring.

"Not tonight."

Chen An's voice was a little hoarse.

"You've had too much to drink. I won't take advantage of you."

Jessica paused for a moment, a hint of disappointment flashing in her eyes, but more so a sense of resentment.

"I'm not drunk!" She stubbornly tried to stand up, but her body swayed and she bumped directly into Chen An's arms.

The bath towel slipped off.

A warm, soft body embraced me.

The girl's supple body pressed tightly against Chen An's chest.

"Is it really not possible...?" Jessica looked up.

Standing on tiptoe is a gesture for asking for a kiss.

Chen An lowered his head and looked into those longing eyes.

He reached out and cupped the back of her head.

They didn't kiss.

Instead, he leaned close to her ear and said in an extremely dangerous tone:

"Jessica, remember this. Once this game starts, it's hard to stop."

Are you sure you can afford to pay the same price as your mother?

Jessica shuddered.

"cost?"

"That means you can only belong to me for the rest of your life. Both your body and your soul."

Done.

Chen An picked her up, strode out of the bathroom, and threw her onto the bed in the guest room.

"Go to sleep. I'll come to check your feet at five tomorrow morning."

"If it's not ready yet, go sit in the greenhouse and pick wasabi."

"Bang."

The door closed.

Jessica lay in bed, her heart pounding in her chest.

She touched her lips, the spot where she had almost touched them.

"It belongs to you..."

She muttered to herself in the darkness, a crazed smile creeping onto her lips.

"Alright. Let's see... who conquers whom."

………………

In the early morning in Montana, the temperature had already plummeted below zero.

When Chen An came down from the second floor, the living room was filled with the aroma of coffee and pancakes.

Sarah, wearing an apron, was busy in the kitchen, humming a song.

She seemed to be in a great mood; the "whole fish feast" last night and the good news Robert brought filled her with confidence for the future.

Good morning, my big boy.

Upon seeing Chen An, Sarah put down her frying pan and walked over to give him a warm good morning kiss.

She wore a beige cashmere sweater today.

Below are skinny jeans.

Her hair was simply tied back, exuding the gentle charm of a homebody.

"morning."

Chen An patted her waist. "Where's that troublemaker? Still sleeping?"

"You mean Jessica?" Sarah asked helplessly, pointing to the closed door of the first-floor guest room.

"I called her just now, and she groaned that her feet hurt and she couldn't get up."

"This girl is really spoiled."

"I'll go take a look."

Chen An walked to the door of the guest room and knocked this time.

"Come in……"

His voice was weak and hoarse.

As soon as I opened the door, a faint smell of medicinal wine wafted out.

Jessica was leaning against the headboard, her injured leg propped up on a pillow.

He was holding a glass of warm water, his face somewhat pale.

Clearly, the hangover and ankle pain had turned this once-arrogant young lady into a sick cat.

"How's your foot?"

Chen An walked over and lifted a corner of the blanket.

The ankle was still a little swollen, but it didn't get worse.

"It hurts..." Jessica looked at Chen An, her eyes darting away.

I recalled being rejected when I offered myself to her in the bathroom last night.

And then there was that extremely ambiguous "oath," which left her feeling both ashamed and somewhat at a loss.

"As long as it's not broken, that's fine."

Chen An pulled the blanket back over himself, his tone calm.

But the movements were quite gentle. "I'm giving you the day off. You don't have to shovel cow dung."

"Really?!" Jessica's eyes lit up, as if she had been instantly resurrected.

Don't get too excited yet.

Chen An pulled the heavy M1911 pistol from his waist, removed the magazine, and threw it on the quilt.

"Although you don't have to do physical labor, as my employee, you need to learn a skill to save your life."

"Since you can't move your legs, then practice your hands."

"A gun?" Jessica picked up the cold metal weapon.

Far from being afraid, she was actually quite excited. "Are you going to teach me how to shoot?"

Growing up in America, especially in a redneck state.

She was no stranger to guns, but had never actually handled such a large machine before.

"Get dressed. I'll be waiting for you in the backyard."

"Remember, don't wear skirts unless you want your butt to freeze off."

………………

Half an hour later.

backyard.

Chen An simply transformed this place into a shooting range.

Several discarded oil drums and wooden planks served as targets, at a distance of about twenty meters.

Jessica limped out.

She changed into a thick down jacket and warm sweatpants.

He was only wearing one snow boot, and his other injured foot was wrapped in a thick sock and worn in a slipper.

"Watch closely. I'll only demonstrate once."

Chen An held a Glock 17, which was more suitable for beginners.

This is what he had old Harry deliver yesterday; the house needs more firepower now.

"Stand with your feet apart and engage your core. Even though you have a foot injury, your upper body needs to remain stable."

Chen An raised his gun, without even making any significant aiming motions.

"Bang bang bang!"

Three crisp sounds.

On the wooden board 20 meters away, three bullet holes suddenly appeared, arranged in a "品" shape, hitting the bullseye.

"Wow..." Jessica whistled, her eyes filled with even more admiration.

"It's your turn."

Chen An handed her a gun loaded with bullets and put earmuffs on her.

Jessica excitedly took the gun.

It's so heavy.

She mimicked how she did in the movies, holding a gun in one hand, turning her body to the side, and striking a cool pose.

"That's courting death."

Chen An frowned, stepped forward, and pressed himself against her from behind.

Jessica's body stiffened instantly.
