Chapter 43 Gluttony Attribute Maxed Out

"Um... we've run out of what we had. Could we perhaps discuss something else with you...?"

Wang Yan had long since used up all his points, exchanging them all for canned food for her. He had no other options. Having exhausted all other possibilities, he thought that he had hunted quite a few prey today, so perhaps he could try using those points.

However, the mother dragon seemed uninterested in the bloody prey before her, not even glancing at it. Her large eyes remained fixed on Wang Yan, which made him shiver.

"I'm so sorry... if you still want that canned food... we don't have any left..."

As darkness fell, Wang Yan was completely baffled as to what the female dragon meant. She wanted canned food, but he couldn't produce any right now. She just stared at him without saying a word, which was quite frustrating.

Wang Yan subconsciously took two steps back and said awkwardly, "But if you still want to eat that canned food, you can put us back first. Don't worry, I'll come back to find you again, and I'll bring you lots of canned food then, how about that?"

Still silent, Wang Yan gave up. It seemed that the mother dragon was actually unable to communicate; the two syllables she had just uttered were probably her limit.

Seeing that she didn't move, Wang Yan took a deep breath, grabbed Zhizhi's hand, and took two steps back again:

"Since you're not saying anything more, I'll take that as your agreement, okay? Well... shall we go now?"

Wang Yan met the eyes of the pair of dragons, then took a few steps back aimlessly. Seeing that the mother dragon was no longer chasing him, he mustered his courage and quickly took a few more steps back. But to his surprise, a heavy object suddenly caught on his right leg, holding him down and preventing him from taking another step.

Wang Yan was startled and subconsciously turned around to look. When the scene in front of him appeared, to be honest, Wang Yan was already somewhat dead.

The silver-haired little dragon girl wrapped her arms around Wang Yan's right thigh, knelt on the snow, slowly raised her head, blinked her large eyes that seemed to hold the stars, and stared at Wang Yan, saying:

"meal."

Wang Yan was stunned. What the hell was this all about?

For a moment, Wang Yan was stunned and at a loss, not knowing what to do.

"Let go..."

"meal."

"Please let go first, okay?"

"meal!"

It's over, it's completely over. Wang Yan's face was ashen. He tried to pry her hands open, but they were as hard as iron and wouldn't budge.

There was really no other way. It was getting dark, so Wang Yan tried to drag her for a while, but she just wouldn't let go, which really frustrated Wang Yan.

"well......"

Wang Yan sighed helplessly. It seemed that this female dragon was not very aggressive, but... her troublesome nature was making his scalp tingle. He had already spent all the points in his pocket, and she didn't even want the prey he hunted. What could he do?

Since there was no aggression, Wang Yan became a bit bolder and let Zhizhi grab her two ankles from behind, lifting her up like that. It was getting late, and getting home was the priority.

Although they were a little delayed, they didn't encounter any danger on the way and the journey was smooth. The three of them continued in this strange way until about eight or nine o'clock in the evening when they finally got home.

Hua Yue swayed her cat tail, and her clear yellow cat eyes immediately spotted the group entering from the cave entrance. She stood up and waved to greet them.

"You're back, meow! I've been waiting so long, dinner's all cold, meow!"

There seemed to be a hint of complaint in her words. Just as Hua Yue was about to urge the two of them to hurry up, she also noticed the woman clinging to Wang Yan's lap.

?

Zhuohua quickly glanced around and immediately noticed something was wrong. Composing herself, she took the lead and asked Wang Yan in a deep voice.

Seeing his most reliable wife at home, Wang Yan's tension eased, and he quickly recounted his afternoon's events in detail. Although the other little beast girls found it all confusing, Zhuo Hua completely understood Wang Yan's meaning. As Wang Yan spoke, her expression grew increasingly serious.

"You mean...she's a dragon?"

Wang Yan nodded affirmatively, then said helplessly:

"She seems to really enjoy the canned food I give her; she's completely attached to me. But she doesn't seem aggressive at all, which is hard to say."

Zhuohua's face was grim. She had not only heard of dragons, but had even seen them before, but a humanoid dragon... she found it hard to understand.

"Can't you get that can out now?"

Wang Yan shrugged, looking utterly dejected.

"If I could have taken it out, I wouldn't have had to make her carry me the whole way."

Zhuohua also sighed, glanced at the mother dragon, then pondered for a moment, took a ceramic bowl from the table, filled it halfway with meat soup, and handed it over.

Verunola finally left Wang Yan and turned her gaze to the ceramic bowl in Zhuohua's hand. Her delicate nose twitched, and then she let go of the bowl that Zhuohua handed her, gulping it down in large mouthfuls. However, her eating manners were still somewhat unsightly, with soup dripping down her face.

"it works!"

Seeing this, Wang Yan felt as if he had been granted a pardon and subconsciously took a few steps back, distancing himself from this troublesome fellow. Zhuo Hua nodded slightly and discussed with Wang Yan:

"Let's keep her here, I think it's a good idea."

Wang Yan's eyes widened, and he was about to refuse, but Zhuo Hua immediately explained to him:

"Dragons are creatures that no one in the upper echelons would dare to provoke. But judging from the current situation, the one you brought back doesn't seem to be aggressive at all, and can even do some simple communication. If we just feed her, then I feel that we can really keep her."

Zhuohua's analysis enlightened Wang Yan. Yes! This female dragon's emotions were indeed quite stable. Even though he pinched her philtrum and disturbed her sleep, she didn't get angry at him. She only clung to him because she wanted to eat. Even though she had difficulty communicating, even if he just kept her at home and didn't let her go anywhere, the aura she emitted could drive away ferocious beasts. And all Wang Yan had to give her was some food.

After some deliberation, Wang Yan was no longer so afraid. He decided to take the Little Dragon Girl in; raising her probably wouldn't be too much trouble. Finally, after a moment of contemplation, Wang Yan replied to Zhuohua:

"Hmm, that's a good suggestion. Let's keep her here then."

As he spoke, Wang Yan turned to look at Wei Lunola. After a short while, she had finished all the soup in the pot, slumped down on the ground, let out a burp, and then curled up and fell asleep on the ground.

"It seems like I'll have to cook more meals from now on."

Wang Yan's lips twitched slightly, and he said somewhat speechlessly.
