Everyone's a Hunter? I'm a Hunter x Hunter!

"Is everyone ready to awaken?"

Chief Instructor Lin Dong's question startled Lü Xiu awake.

He stood there blankly, as if waking from a dream.

"What just happened?"

"Golden amber...treasure chest...God of Greed..." Lu Xiu looked around and saw that many people had already awakened their powers and were excitedly testing their abilities.

Time did not stop, there was no god of greed, and there were no treasure chests.

Was everything just an illusion?

Lu Xiu looked down at his chest.

No, the golden amber that came with me to this world is indeed gone.

Suddenly, a virtual dialog box popped up in front of Lü Xiu's eyes.

[Hint: Awakening successful, all attributes +5]

This is a hint from the game!

I've already completed my awakening?!

In this world, once everyone awakens to become a hunter, the world they see will be digitized, indistinguishable from the game world.

Lu Xiu quickly opened his attribute panel.

"Treasure...Treasure Hunter?" Lu Xiu stared at his panel in astonishment.

Not one of the weapons, food, mythical beasts, knowledge, or elemental hunters, but a treasure hunter I've never heard of before!

Lu Xiu immediately realized. The Treasure Hunter must be one of the new hunter classes that the official "Hunting World" game was about to release.

The corresponding original sin should be... greed!

Therefore, everything that just happened was not an illusion.

The god of greed has indeed appeared!

Was what I just experienced the process of the treasure hunter's awakening?

In addition to completing the Treasure Hunter Awakening, Lü Xiu discovered that there were two other items in his inventory after awakening: a treasure chest and a map.

Greedy Treasure Chest

Grade: Source Item

Effect 1: Includes 100m x 100m x 100m storage space

效果2：每个月生成一张藏宝图（神级藏宝图0.1％；超级藏宝图1%；高级藏宝图5％；中级藏宝图20％；初级藏宝图73.99％）（冷却时间：29天23小时59分）

Effect 3: Job Awakening +1 (Gain one job awakening opportunity for each job advancement completed)

Effect 4: ? ? ? (Unlocked as the bound user's level increases)

Description: Greed is the root of all things.

(Bound, dropped upon soul death)

Judging from its appearance, Lü Xiu immediately recognized it as the treasure chest that would reveal the God of Greed when opened.

It's now bound to me, and the effects it has are incredibly exaggerated and terrifying.

Neither the million cubic meters of space nor the ability to awaken one's professional consciousness were things that Lü Xiu had never heard of before.

but....

"What grade and level of item is a Source Artifact?" Lu Xiu only knew that, whether in the game "Hunting World" in his previous life or in the real world he was in now, the grades of items from low to high were: Common, Excellent, Treasure, Perfect, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical.

There is no such grade as "Source Item".

However, judging from its description of "the source of greed" and its terrifying effects, it may be an item of even higher rank than a mythical item.

The other item in the backpack looks like a map, but it's actually a treasure map generated by the Greedy Chest effect 2.

Intermediate Treasure Map (Breezy Forest)

Effect: Automatically generates a guide when the treasure is within 1,000 meters.

Description: A map marking the locations of buried treasures. Follow the markings on the treasure map to find the treasures.

The location marked on the intermediate treasure map is "Breezy Forest".

Lu Xiu knew the location; it was on the north side of Tianqing Mountain, a relatively low-risk hunting ground. The treasure map also had a red dot marking the treasure's exact location.

"I'll find some time to go and take a look," Lu Xiu pondered.

"Is everyone ready to awaken? I'm about to shut down the formation!" Chief Instructor Lin Dong confirmed once again whether everyone had completed their awakening.

"Instructor, I'm ready."

The hunters responded enthusiastically.

On the hilltop, all the hunters had completed their job advancement, even the sleepy Lin Niannian in the corner had finished. She was leaning against a tree, controlling the fireball in her palm with great interest.

Just as Lü Xiu had guessed, she awakened as an elemental hunter.

"Wait, Instructor, I haven't done it yet!" Lu Xiu hurriedly told Lin Dong to wait a little longer.

The Greedy Treasure Chest's third effect grants you another chance to awaken.

"Hurry! I can't hold on much longer!" Lin Dong was about to withdraw his power when he heard that Lü Xiu was still not ready. He gritted his teeth and held on, shouting loudly to make Lü Xiu wake up quickly.

Lu Xiu grasped the Awakening Crystal again and began his second awakening.

This time, no strange phenomena occurred, nor did any deities appear.

Lu Xiu felt a warm current surge from the Awakening Crystal, flowing down his arm and directly into his heart, then spreading throughout his body.

When Lü Xiu opened his eyes, a notification popped up in front of him.

[Hint: Awakening successful, all attributes +5]

Okay! This time, I guess I should finally awaken and become a knowledge hunter, right?!

Lu Xiu quickly reopened the attribute panel, but his expression froze when he saw the profession section.

Occupation: Treasure Hunter, Mythical Beast Hunter.
