Just when they were falling into despair, feeling that no matter how hard they tried, they could not catch up with China, and even had thoughts of giving up and abandoning their lives,

The Dragon Kingdom once again shocked the world, delivering a devastating blow that left them completely stunned.

Only then did they belatedly realize that the Dragon Kingdom had not stopped its progress over the past ten years.

Instead of stagnating, it has become even more frenzied than it was ten years ago, with an outrageous speed of development that makes them hesitate and feel terrified.

Because the Dragon Kingdom has quietly built a spaceship. Even more outrageous is that they have already begun building interstellar warships, which are deadly weapons that can fight in space and traverse the stars. Just thinking about it makes people shudder!

In addition, China has officially launched its interstellar exploration program, with probes and spaceships launching one after another towards distant interstellar space, leaving all other countries in the world far behind, not even giving them the chance to catch up.

What is truly unexpected is that even though China has become so powerful, it has never had any intention of forcibly unifying the world, nor has it revealed any intention to establish a new global United Nations or control the global order.

Now it was the bald eagles' turn to panic completely, even more anxious than when they were crushed by the Dragon Kingdom back then, as anxious as ants on a hot pan.

Given the normal development speed of these countries, even for top powers like the United States and Russia, it would take at least several decades, hundreds of years, or even longer to develop the technology to leave the planet and enter the universe. No one can say for sure.

But by the time they truly master interstellar technology and are able to venture into the universe, all the planets in the entire solar system, and even the Milky Way, that are worth developing and valuable, will probably have already been occupied by the Dragon Kingdom, and all the resources will be monopolized by the Dragon Kingdom.

At that time, they might not even be able to get a sip of soup, and would only be able to guard the barren land on Earth, watching helplessly as the Dragon Kingdom dominates the interstellar space. Just thinking about it makes them feel hopeless.

As the saying goes, if you can't beat someone, join them; a wise person knows when to yield.

Since they know they can never catch up with the Dragon Kingdom, and that fighting it is pointless and resisting it is futile, they might as well lower themselves, join the Dragon Kingdom, and follow it. Maybe they can even get a share of the pie and avoid being completely eliminated in the end.

So, of the five philanthropists, apart from the Dragon Kingdom, the remaining four secretly held a small meeting on their own, keeping it completely confidential and not even daring to inform the other weaker countries.

The only topic of their meeting was none of the other random things; it was solely about how to humble themselves and curry favor with the Dragon Kingdom in order to successfully join it and board its interstellar express train!

As for those other weaker countries?

They don't care at all. In their eyes, those small countries are just there to make up the numbers. Whether they can join the Dragon Kingdom or not has nothing to do with them.

They only care about whether they can successfully latch onto the coattails of the Dragon Kingdom and avoid being left behind by the times.

After all, in the face of absolute power, weakness is the original sin, and no one cares about the life or death of the weak.

(This book is finished. The word count is much lower than expected. Similarly, the book's performance is better than the author predicted.)

To be honest, this book could have been much better, but the young author didn't write the outline in more detail, which resulted in many ideas not being included.

In the end, I only wrote this one half-finished work.

For this piece, I basically wrote it according to a rough outline I set. Many ideas were not included because they were not mentioned in detail in the outline.

Therefore, I dare not add those elements. The experience of my first novel flopping and ending poorly taught me that it is better to write according to the outline. You can add a few unexpected elements in the middle, but adding too many will make the work incongruous.

In the end, he didn't even know how to write the content anymore, because at this point, the plot of the novel had gotten out of control.

Although I'm not entirely satisfied with this book, at least the story's logic is passable.

However, it also gave me more writing experience. I don't know how the masters write novels, but I found that the more detailed the outline, the easier it is to write.

The content can be better controlled, and many illogical or previously overlooked contents can be discovered in advance. While not to say that they can be completely eliminated, overall, it is definitely better.

Here, the author would like to thank all the readers who have supported the author all along. This book ends here. I had some ideas for the later content, but I initially conceived of the protagonist helping the Heavenly Dao defeat the so-called "Chosen One".

All the fortune was recovered, and then it was redistributed according to the normal workings of Heaven.

After that, it briefly mentions the protagonist leading the Dragon Kingdom into the starry sky, and then it ends. There is no further content planned.

As for the final fate of other countries—whether they will be forcibly subjugated by the Dragon Kingdom or establish a planetary federation led by the Dragon Kingdom—that's up to each reader to imagine.

To be honest, I haven't figured out this part yet. It doesn't feel right to fight through everything and forcefully subdue them; it's too much of a waste of time.

Moreover, it would be difficult to deal with the citizens of those countries after the war, since this is a story from the electronic information age, and genocide is certainly not something that can be done.

However, I don't think forcibly subjugating and incorporating people is necessarily a good thing. There are many people who are outwardly compliant but inwardly resentful, so I won't go into detail here.

Finally, a quick announcement: the young author is currently writing the outline for their next novel. This time, the outline will be more detailed to avoid a repeat of the situation where elements intended for inclusion were not included due to a lack of prior planning.

I hope all my dear readers will support me then!

Thank you! (bows deeply)
