The internal passageways of the troop transport ship were blocked by emergency sealing gates, and red warning lights flashed on the alloy walls.

This is Lu Xiao's hunting ground.

"roar!"

A giant wolf soldier, nearly two meters tall, roared and charged forward, wielding a massive battle axe. Behind it, a dozen or so of its kind crowded the passage, trying to overwhelm the blue intruder with brute force.

Lu Xiao did not adjust her posture.

He raised his left arm and held up the explosive gun.

"Bang!"

Gunshots rang out in the confined space. A high-explosive armor-piercing projectile was launched, ignoring the energy battle axe's parry, and slammed into the giant wolf captain's chest.

It didn't penetrate, but instead burrowed inside.

The next second, the giant wolf captain's upper body caved inward and then exploded into a cloud of blood mist. The shockwave blew his two companions behind him away, sending them crashing into the bulkhead, their exoskeletons creaking and twisting.

The roaring in the passageway stopped.

The remaining giant wolf soldiers paused, fear appearing in their pupils for the first time.

Lu Xiao took a step forward, his combat boots creaking as they pounded on the blood-stained deck. He didn't stop firing.

"Bang!"

Another muffled thud. A giant wolf soldier on the flank of the formation tried to raise his shield, but the explosive bomb shattered it, blowing away his arm and half his body along with it.

"Fire! Suppress him! Overwhelm him with fire!"

A giant wolf officer roared at the back of the column.

Dense laser beams shot towards Lu Xiao. But when these energy rays hit his blue terracotta armor, they only created a few energy ripples, leaving not even a white mark.

"Too weak."

Lu Xiao uttered two words, his synthesized electronic voice cold.

He didn't change the frequency at which he pulled the trigger.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

With each shot, a giant wolf soldier was precisely killed. Their strong flesh and exoskeleton armor were as fragile as paper in the face of the explosives.

The narrow passage limited their numbers, causing them to crowd together. The explosion of a single bomb could often kill several.

One magazine emptied.

Lu Xiao removed the empty magazine with his left hand and took a new magazine from his waist with his right hand. With a "click," the magazine was loaded in less than a second.

In that brief lull, the surviving giant wolf soldiers completely broke down. They had witnessed brutal warfare, but never such efficient slaughter. This wasn't a battle; it was cleansing.

"Monster! He's a monster!"

"Run! Run!"

The instinct for survival overwhelmed their bestiality. The giant wolf soldiers dropped their weapons and turned to flee, causing chaos and trampling in the crowded passageway.

Lu Xiao ignored the fleeing soldiers. He put away his explosive pistol and drew his chainsaw sword from his waist.

"Buzz"

The serrations on the blade began to spin rapidly, emitting a low roar.

He ignored the deserters squeezing past him and walked toward the tightly closed alloy gate at the end of the passage. Behind the gate was the command room of the troop transport ship.

"Aliens should stay where they belong."

The chainsaw sword was raised.

The blade fell, slicing through the several-meter-thick alloy gate, sparks flying, and a huge cross appeared on the gate.

Lu Xiao kicked the cut-open door panel.

"Clang!"

The metal door, weighing several tons, collapsed inward, knocking over several operators in the command room.

Smoke and dust filled the air.

The wolf officers in the command room looked up in horror and saw a three-meter-tall blue giant standing in the red alarm lights, his roaring chainsaw sword dripping with the blood of his own kind.

"For humanity."

As the sound faded, the chainsaw sword left a trail of blood.

……

Pluto's orbit, Taotie flagship.

As Shihao sat on his throne, in the enormous holographic projection, the green dot representing the giant wolf legion was being rapidly devoured and extinguished by a red dot.

Each disappearing dot of light represents a warship losing contact or being destroyed. And there's only one red dot.

"My lord, the giant wolf fleet has collapsed."

Feng Lei's voice was somewhat hoarse. He looked at the disproportionately large battle damage report, and his core logic was on the verge of crashing.

"The giant wolf commander's flagship sent out a final communication, requesting a retreat. He said they were not facing a warrior, but an unstoppable prehistoric behemoth."

Shihao remained silent.

His mechanical eyes were fixed on a specific scene. In the scene, the blue figure was rampaging through a giant wolf-themed troop transport ship. Each shot from the explosive gun cleared a section of the corridor. Each swing of the chainsaw sword tore off a limb.

The giant wolf soldiers' laser weapons struck him, but failed to produce a spark. Their flesh and blood were no different from grass before him.

kill.

Pure, efficient, and emotionless killing.

The howling processor was running at breakneck speed.

He devised tens of thousands of tactics in an attempt to find a way to counter this blue monster.

Firepower coverage? The enemy is too fast and their armor is too thick; even the main guns of small warships can't penetrate it.

Human wave tactics? The collapsed giant wolf legion is a prime example. Inside the spaceship, numerical superiority became a liability.

A super-soldiers attack? The Taotie Legion has no shortage of elites, but howling is unpredictable; sending them up is no different from sending them to their deaths. The blue giant's fighting style is beyond their comprehension.

"Pass on my orders."

After a long while, Shihao finally spoke.

"Giant Wolf Legion, retreat is permitted. All fleet units, maintain a safe distance from the target and rebuild your defensive lines."

"Wang?" The Bucks were puzzled. "Are we just going to let him go like this? This will seriously damage our morale!"

"Morale?" Howler sneered, turning to the stag. "You're sending your soldiers to face a monster that can't be harmed, can't be stopped, and will only tear them to shreds in the most brutal way. How much morale do you think they'll have left?"

"We know nothing about this enemy. His origins, his capabilities, his limits—everything is unknown. Before we find an effective countermeasure, any proactive attack is just a pointless waste of soldiers' lives."

His howling fingers tapped on the armrests of the throne.

"Retreat. Pack up all the battlefield data and send it to God Karl. This level of enemy is beyond our capabilities."

……

The reactor of the last Giant Wolf troop transport ship was detonated, exploding in space.

Lu Xiao hovered amidst the wreckage and flames, surrounded by the corpses of aliens and fragments of warships. His blue armor was stained with dark red blood.

On the tactical interface, the glowing dots representing the enemy are moving away.

Pursuing them is pointless. The enemy is scared off.

"coward."

Lu Xiao said something in a low voice and put away his weapon.

He turned around, and the jump pack on his back spewed flames, propelling him toward the distant blue planet.

……

Behind the asteroid belt, three angels witnessed the massacre.

Moi covered her mouth, her face pale, filled with disbelief.

"He...he single-handedly defeated an entire fleet?"

That was the Giant Wolf Legion; though they were mere grunts in the eyes of the angels, they were still a complete spacefaring-class fleet. In just over ten minutes, they were wiped out by a single person.

"It's more than just a crushing defeat."

Ah-Zhui leaned against the rock; most of her injuries had healed.

"He dismantled that fleet. Ship by ship, killing them one by one. I even suspect that if Taotie hadn't run away, he really would have slaughtered every single ship."

Witnessing this power firsthand on the battlefield was a completely different experience. It was a raw, savage, and irrational violence.

Yan crossed her arms, her eyes gleaming with thought. She didn't speak, but simply watched the blue figure disappear into the distance.

"Sister Yan, what do you think?" Mo Yi turned to Yan.

"I've been thinking about something," Yan finally spoke, her tone somewhat strange.

"What's the problem?" Ah-Zhui looked over as well.

"With his strength, he has already reached the level of a third-generation god, or even higher. He clearly has countless more efficient ways to destroy that fleet."

Yan held up one finger.

"He can snipe enemy commanders from a distance, detonate their ammunition depots, and even destroy their warships' engines. For a god, these are merely matters of thought."

But he didn't.

Yan shook his head.

"He chose the oldest, most troublesome, and bloodiest method—boarding. He stormed into the enemy ship and, with swords and guns, turned all living things into corpses."

She looked at Mo Yi and A Zhui.

"The fighting style of the Astartes is described in Warhammer 40."

"Those books clearly state that Astartes' most favored traditional tactic was loyal boarding. No matter who the enemy was, they always liked to use their boots to step onto the decks of enemy ships."

"I used to think it was just an exaggeration to highlight the character's bravery. But now I see..."

"That's absolutely right."
