Apocalypse: No rebirth! Time to upgrade the sewers!

Song Qing touched her face, then turned around and asked.

"Who's eating the watermelon?"

Gu Ya and Bai Ruolin nodded immediately.

"kindness"

Song Qing waved his arm again.

boom.

A giant watermelon with a unicorn shape appeared out of thin air on the folding table.

He picked up a fruit knife and quickly cut the watermelon into chunks.

Song Qing picked up a piece and took a big bite.

Juice splashed everywhere.

"It's very sweet, you should try some."

The three women each picked up a slice of watermelon and began to eat.

"Mmm, it really is sweet."

Gu Ya ate in small, elegant bites.

"I haven't eaten it since the apocalypse."

Wang Jie also covered her face with one hand, squinting her eyes happily.

"tasty."

Song Qing smiled as she looked at their satisfied expressions.

He wiped his hands only after everyone had finished eating the watermelon.

"Wait a minute, I need to modify the shelter."

Wang Jie looked at Song Qing. "Honey, are we building a new room?"

Song Qing nodded, then shook his head.

"I plan to make a major renovation, turning the first floor and basement into living rooms, adding three more bedrooms downstairs, and also renovating the kitchen and bathroom."

Gu Ya and Wang Jie exchanged a glance, both seeing a hint of expectation in each other's eyes.

Bai Ruolin said.

"Really, Brother Song!"

Song Qing smiled.

"You guys wait here, it'll be ready in a bit."

He walked straight to the door of the plantation.

This room was originally built to solve the food problem.

But now, it's completely useless to him.

The fresh fruits and vegetables in his alternate dimension were piled up like mountains; even if fifty people ate as much as they wanted, it would take them more than ten years to finish them all.

Song Qing stood at the door, silently reciting in her heart.

"System, convert the planter into a water storage room."

[Sufficient host points detected. Construction of the water storage room requires 90 points. Build now?]

"Yes."

【10...9...8...】

As the countdown began, the entire shelter started to emit a slight humming sound.

The walls and the floor were shaking slightly.

The shaking stopped.

Song Qing pushed open the door and went inside.

The scene inside the room has completely changed.

The room, which was originally filled with planters, is now completely empty.

At the far end of the room was a giant machine full of technological features, next to which were two huge cylindrical water tanks.

[System Prompt: The water storage room has two functions: 1. Purification: No matter how dirty the water is, it can be purified into drinking water through the water purifier. 2. Water Storage: It is responsible for supplying water to the entire water supply system of the shelter.]

Song Qing was very satisfied with the result.

He walked over to one of the water tanks and unscrewed the inlet.

A thought crossed my mind.

A small portal appeared out of nowhere directly above the water inlet.

Water poured down from the spatial gate, continuously flowing into the storage tank.

Soon, both huge water tanks were completely filled.

Song Qing closed the spatial door and screwed the lid on.

He turned and left the water storage room, heading straight for the kitchen.

"System, upgrade the kitchen."

[Sufficient host points detected. Upgrading the kitchen requires 30 points. Upgrade now?]

"Yes."

[Command received, construction in progress... estimated time 10 seconds...]

【10...9...8...】

Then came another familiar buzzing sound.

Ten seconds later.

When Song Qing pushed open the kitchen door again, the change inside made Wang Jie let out a small gasp.

The original kitchen was very small.

Now, the entire space has expanded by nearly two times.

Now there are two more gas stoves in the kitchen.

Several more hanging cabinets have appeared along the wall.

What made Wang Jie happiest was the new sink in the corner, which even had a pull-out faucet.

Previously, I would only wash vegetables and dishes in the bathroom.

Seeing the genuine joy on Wang Jie's face, Song Qing also felt that spending those thirty points was well worth it.

He didn't linger and went to the bathroom door again.

"System, upgrade the restrooms."

[Sufficient host points detected. Upgrading the restroom requires 70 points. Upgrade now?]

"Yes."

buzzing...

After the renovation was completed, Song Qing pushed open the door and entered.

This time, even he himself was somewhat surprised.

The changes to the bathroom are much greater than those to the kitchen.

Firstly, the space has been expanded, and a dry and wet separation design has been implemented.

Outside are a sink, a toilet, and a washing machine.

Then pull open the inner glass sliding door.

Inside, there is a huge white bathtub that can comfortably seat five people, with a showerhead next to it.

The metal water tank that used to be there is no longer there.

An image flashed into Song Qing's mind almost instantly.

Together with Gu Ya and Wang Jie...

Song Qing smiled.

After doing all this, he went back to his room on the first floor.

The huge double bed used to take up most of the room.

Song Qing stretched out her hand towards the bed.

The next second, the entire bed, along with the mattress and bedding, vanished into thin air and was stored in his alternate dimension.

"Move away from the table."

The three women obediently stepped back.

Song Qing then put away the folding table and several chairs.

He waved his arm.

An L-shaped gray sofa appeared out of nowhere in the place where the bed used to be.

In front of the sofa is a dark-colored wooden square table.

The entire floor has now been transformed into a living room.

Song Qing didn't stop; he went down the stairs and came to the basement.

He used the same method to remove the bed from the basement and replaced it with a sofa of the same style.

Now, the entire layout of the shelter has been completely transformed.

Song Qing looked at his masterpiece and nodded in satisfaction.

But that wasn't all, he thought to himself.

"System, construct fireplaces, one on the first floor and one on the basement level."

[Sufficient host points detected. Building 2 stone fireplaces requires 60 points. Build now?]

"Yes."

[Command received, construction in progress... estimated time 10 seconds...]

buzzing...

The familiar buzzing sound rang out again, and the walls shook slightly.

After the shaking stopped, Song Qing looked at the fireplace that had appeared on the wall of the living room on the basement floor and nodded.

The fireplace is made entirely of gray stone, exuding a retro charm, and there is a recess in the ground next to it, which is specifically for storing firewood.

With a wave of his arm, Song Qing conjured up a pile of chopped firewood in the groove.

He didn't linger; he turned and walked up the stairs back to the first floor.

As soon as I arrived, I saw three women gathered around the same fireplace on the first floor, their faces full of curiosity and surprise.

"Honey, is this a fireplace?" Gu Ya asked as soon as Song Qing came up.

Song Qing nodded.

He went to the fireplace, added charcoal, and lit it with a lighter.

Orange flames instantly rose up.

"It's so warm," Wang Jie couldn't help but exclaim comfortably.

Bai Ruolin also joined in, her little face flushed red from the firelight.

Song Qing waved his hand again and placed two chairs in front of the fireplace.
