Apocalypse: No rebirth! Time to upgrade the sewers!

The room was about 20 square meters and was extremely simple.

There was a wooden bed in the corner, and a small mirror on the wall.

There was a light bulb on the ceiling, and a small generator was placed by the door, and it was running.

"Ha ha ha ha!"

Song Qing couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Though simple, it's his!

It's his safe space!

There's no need to worry about Ye Chen anymore, and there's no need to die.

"But system, isn't this shelter way too shabby?"

Song Qing complained.

The shelter can be upgraded by consuming points.

The system panel expanded again, and a dense array of upgrade options appeared on the electronic map.

Door Upgrade: 20 points (Wooden Door → Security Iron Door)

[Bed Upgrade: 25 points (Wooden Plank Bed → Comfortable Single/Double Bed)]

[Lighting Upgrade: 25 points (small light bulb → LED lighting system)]

【…】

Song Qing's eyes lit up.

"Upgrade the door first!"

[20 points consumed, door upgrading in progress...]

Click!

The wooden door instantly transformed into a very thick security iron door, complete with three bolts.

Song Qing touched the iron gate in shock.

It looks sturdy!

Current points: 180

Just then, the system beeped again:

[New Player Quest Released: Build a Plantation Room]

Song Qing did not hesitate.

"put up!"

[100 points consumed, plantation room under construction...]

Rumble!

Another tremor shook the shelter, and the walls inside cracked again.

A large room appeared, filled with neatly arranged planting pots.

[Construction complete! Received Seed Pack: 20 Cold-Resistant Fast-Growing Potatoes, 20 Cold-Resistant Fast-Growing Shiitake Mushroom Colonies [Hint: Shiitake mushroom colonies will continue to grow after planting], 10 Bottles of Nutrient Solution]

[Mission Completed! Rewards Issued!]

A bunch of things suddenly appeared in Song Qing's system space.

He took out a bottle of Nongfu Spring water and drank more than half of it.

This feeling is simply amazing.

"Ye Chen, Liu Jiajia..."

Song Qing wiped the corner of her mouth, her eyes gradually turning cold.

"Just you wait, I'll be back to settle accounts with you soon."

Current points: 130

"System, what else can be upgraded?"

Song Qing studied the panel with great interest.

[Recommended Upgrade Items]

[Shelter Wall Reinforcement: 50 points; Temperature Control System: 60 points]

Kitchen construction: 80 points; Bathroom construction: 70 points

[Armory construction: 100 points; Second bedroom construction: 90 points]

Song Qing was dazzled by what she saw.

"First, let's get a temperature control system; this weather is freezing."

[60 points consumed, temperature control system installation in progress...]

Instantly, a central air conditioner appeared on the ceiling of the shelter, and began to blow out hot air.

A smart temperature control panel appeared on the wall, showing the current room temperature as 22°C.

After a while, the indoor temperature rose significantly.

"Cool!"

Song Qing took off her slightly damp down jacket and felt the long-lost warmth.

Current points: 70

"Build another kitchen."

[80 points consumed. Insufficient points. Would you like to use credit points?]

[Credit Score Explanation: You can overdraft 100 points, which must be repaid within 7 days, otherwise the shelter function will be deducted.]

"Use it! We absolutely must use it."

Boom!

Another wall cracked open, revealing a fully equipped kitchenette.

Induction cookers, microwave ovens, rice cookers—they have everything.

Song Qing took out the compressed biscuits and soaked them in the remaining half bottle of Nongfu Spring water to soften them.

Although the taste was just average, it was a delicacy to him after he had been starving for three days.

After he finished eating, he felt like he had come back to life.

"System, I want to check the situation outside."

The surveillance system requires 50 points to build. Build it now?

"put up."

Soon, a small screen appeared on the wall of the shelter, displaying two live feeds.

One is at the entrance, the other is outside the sewer. [A type of high-tech miniature camera]

Song Qing saw that Ye Chen and Liu Jiajia were still searching nearby.

"Song Qing, stop hiding! It's useless. You'd rather freeze to death than let me finish you off. Hahaha." Ye Chen said with a fake smile.

"Brother Chen, are you going to freeze to death?" Liu Jiajia asked cautiously.

"That's possible, but it's a pity."

After their search for the person proved fruitless, the two returned to the villa.

After watching for a while, Song Qing clenched his fists.

hatred

But he didn't act impulsively.

He's still too weak; if he goes out, he'll be in trouble.

It seems he still needs some time to develop.

Song Qing watched for about 20 minutes.

Just then, a new image appeared on the monitor screen.

A group of ragged survivors were walking towards Ye Chen's villa.

The leader was a middle-aged man holding an axe.

"Ye Chen! Come out!"

The middle-aged man roared.

"Why are you hogging all these supplies? We're starving!"

The villa door opened, and Ye Chen walked out.

He held a black pistol in his hand, a cold smile on his face.

"Just because of this."

boom!

A gunshot rang out, and the middle-aged man fell to the ground.

The other survivors were so frightened that they scattered and fled.

"A bunch of trash, daring to come and rob us." Ye Chen spat.

As Song Qing watched this scene, his eyes grew colder and colder.

This beast has no regard for human life.

"Just you wait, Ye Chen."

Song Qing turned off the surveillance and began planning the next move.

He needs more points and greater strength.

Only in this way can we completely crush Ye Chen! And then take revenge!
