Family connections: From special recruitment by the county committee to the pinnacle of power

Upon hearing this, Jiang Qinghua sized up Xu Changqing for a long time before sighing helplessly and saying, "Director Xu, you are a veteran in our county government office with rich work experience. It can be said that the county government office cannot do without Director Xu, especially some thorny issues. As long as Director Xu takes charge, he will definitely handle them properly."

Ok?

Xu Changqing was stunned by Jiang Qinghua's words.

He had just been scolded by Jiang Qinghua, so how come Jiang Qinghua is praising him now?

"Recently, our county government office's logistics work has been plagued with problems. The hygiene and procurement issues in the canteen are particularly worrying. After much thought, I still feel that Director Hsu is the only one capable of managing the logistics work."

After Jiang Qinghua finished speaking, he took a sip of tea, put down his teacup, and then said to Xu Changqing, "How about this, you hand over the work of the Secretariat to Director Zhang. As for the General Affairs Section, Director Xu, you don't need to worry about it. I will make other arrangements later. From now on, the important responsibilities of the Logistics Section and the County Government Office canteen will be handed over to Director Xu."

"We hope that Director Xu will carry forward the spirit of not being afraid of hardship or difficulty in his new work environment and do a good job in the logistical support of the county government."

Holy crap!

Xu Changqing finally understood. They were trying to marginalize him. They were putting him in charge of logistics, and he was no longer supposed to be promoting the spirit of not being afraid of hardship or difficulty.

What's there to manage about a cafeteria?

It's just a matter of finding an excuse to send him away with a smile.

This Jiang Qinghua, it seems, is someone who wants to marginalize him, yet also wants him to say thank you.

"Okay, Director Jiang, thank you for your attention. I will definitely do a good job in logistics and live up to your expectations."

Xu Changqing couldn't help but cry when he said these words.

He spent 10,000 yuan, and what did he get in return?

Not only was the money wasted, but they were also targeted by Jiang Qinghua and reassigned to manage logistics!

Damn it!

Just as Xu Changqing was cursing Jiang Qinghua in his heart for being such a scoundrel, Jiang Qinghua also sighed and said, "Director Xu, I didn't want to do this either, but County Chief Lin has a lot of opinions about you. You have to understand my difficulties. However, you can rest assured that as soon as there is an opportunity, I will reinstate you to your post."

"Thank you, Director Jiang!"

Xu Changqing thanked him, then lowered his head and left Jiang Qinghua's office dejectedly, like a defeated rooster.

After he left, Jiang Qinghua called Zhang Juan, who was in charge of the document and telecommunications department and the research office, into his office.

Zhang Juan, 33 years old this year, is only a 6 out of 10 in appearance, but she has a full figure and the temperament of an artistic young woman. She stands out from the crowd in the entire office.

Jiang Qinghua had always admired Zhang Juan, but unfortunately, County Chief Lin disliked female leaders, so Zhang Juan was always marginalized. The department she was in charge of was insignificant, and she rarely appeared in the leaders' sights.

This time, Lin Hanlong, for some unknown reason, suddenly remembered Zhang Juan and brought her up.

After giving Zhang Juan some more instructions and advice, Jiang Qinghua walked towards the secretariat with her.

Although Zhang Juan now manages three departments, the only one that truly carries weight is the secretariat. Therefore, her future work will naturally focus on the secretariat.

As they walked, Jiang Qinghua said to Zhang Juan, "Director Zhang, while all the work in the Secretariat is important, we must also prioritize certain tasks. Secretary Qi has repeatedly emphasized that we should strive to become a county strong in industry and make industrial development our goal. Therefore, in our daily work, we must put investment promotion first!"

Zhang Juan pursed her red lips and said, "Okay, Director Jiang, I will definitely do a good job in attracting investment."

Jiang Qinghua nodded slightly, then stepped into the main office of the secretariat.

Upon seeing Jiang Qinghua and Zhang Juan arrive together, Su Jie hurriedly got up and ran into Li Qiang's office.

Before long, Li Qiang strode out of the office and approached Jiang Qinghua, smiling obsequiously, "Director Jiang, Director Zhang."

Jiang Qinghua nodded slightly, turned to the side, pointed at Zhang Juan and said, "From now on, the Secretariat will be under the unified leadership of Deputy Director Zhang. If there is anything, you must report to Director Zhang in a timely manner."

what?

Upon hearing this, Li Qiang was taken aback.

What's going on?

Xu Changqing has stopped managing the Secretariat?

After a brief moment of stunned silence, Li Qiang hurriedly greeted Zhang Juan, saying, "Director Zhang, I'll need your guidance in my future work."

Zhang Juan nodded slightly, but didn't say anything more.

Zhang Juan had heard a little about what had happened in the Secretariat recently, especially the matter concerning Tiancheng Holdings, which had a huge impact and had even alarmed the county party committee.

However, she never expected that she would end up having to deal with this mess.

On the surface, the secretariat appears harmonious, but in reality, it is quite complex.

Li Qiang and Su Jie were relatives, so they formed their own small group.

The newcomer, Xu Hansheng, was no pushover either.

Although Xu He has no connections or background, he is someone who does not submit to the rule of the Celestial Empire.

Old Shen is also recognized as the county government's best writer.

Anyway, there aren't many people in the secretariat, but they're all tough nuts to crack.

Is Comrade Xu Hansheng here?

Jiang Qinghua stood with his hands behind his back and scanned the entire office.

"Director Jiang, Xu Hansheng and Xu He have gone out for a smoke again, it's been almost twenty minutes." Su Jie stood up and secretly complained about Xu Hansheng.

Smoking a cigarette takes twenty minutes each time. If you calculate it all in a day, how many twenty-minute periods are there in total?

The implication is that Xu Hansheng is always lazy and doesn't take his work seriously.

Upon hearing this, Lao Shen, Du Xinyang, and the others all looked up at Su Jie.

This little complaint is a bit too much. Xu Hansheng and Xu He had only been gone for less than five minutes, not twenty minutes at all.

"This Xu Hansheng is so disorganized and undisciplined!"

Li Qiang frowned and said to Su Jie, "Comrade Su Jie, go to the backyard immediately and tell Xu Hansheng and Xu He to come back right away!"

"Okay, Section Chief Li!" Su Jie replied and quickly walked out of the office.

Jiang Qinghua simply observed all of this without making any comments.

Five minutes later, when Su Jie brought Xu Hansheng and Xu He back to the office, Jiang Qinghua stepped forward with a smile, shook hands with Xu Hansheng, and said, "Comrade Xu Hansheng, County Chief Lin asked me to inform you to personally report to County Chief Lin about your work."

Both Li Qiang and Su Jie were taken aback when these words were spoken.

Even Zhang Juan suddenly turned her head and looked at Xu Hansheng.

County Magistrate Lin actually sent a lowly clerk to personally report on his work?

Xu Hansheng was also stunned, and looked at Jiang Qinghua, saying, "Director Jiang, County Chief Lin asked me to report on my work?"
