Family connections: From special recruitment by the county committee to the pinnacle of power

On the other side, accompanied by Tan Zhifei, Xu Hansheng, Robin, and others, Liu Zhiqiang also visited several main streets in the central town.

Despite the lack of industrial base in Yutong County, its civilian infrastructure and commercial shops are well-developed and prosperous.

Liu Zhiqiang nodded repeatedly and then asked Tan Zhifei, "Director Tan, I have a question. I wonder if there are any vocational schools in our county?"

After all, Tiancheng Holdings is different from typical labor-intensive industries; it requires skilled workers with a certain level of technical expertise and education.

Whether Yutong County has a corresponding technical talent training institution is also very crucial for Tiancheng Holdings.

It's impossible to have a factory located in Yutong County, but the workers are recruited from Qingshan City, right?

In that case, the daily commute alone would require a significant investment of human and material resources.

Even if we build staff dormitories, it will cost a lot of money, and the land rent will also be an expense.

Tan Zhifei nodded with a smile, then looked at Lin Mingyuan and said, "Comrade Mingyuan, please give a brief introduction to Assistant General Manager Liu."

what?

Upon hearing this, Lin Mingyuan looked at Tan Zhifei with a completely bewildered expression.

This question seems a bit beyond the scope of the curriculum.

When they came down to conduct research, they didn't mention that they wanted to investigate this.

The key point is that Lin Mingyuan didn't ask the central town or the county education bureau about this at all.

How was he supposed to answer that?

"Comrade Lin Mingyuan, there's no need to be modest. Please introduce him to Assistant General Manager Liu."

Xu Hansheng also smiled and looked at Lin Mingyuan.

However, in Lin Mingyuan's eyes, his smile at this moment had clearly taken on a different meaning.

Although Xu Hansheng's smile was as sincere as ever, and his eyes were so clear, he felt more and more that Xu Hansheng's smile was so cold!

"this……"

Lin Mingyuan swallowed hard. There was a technical school in the county, but he had never actually asked what it did.

After thinking for a long time, he wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "In our county, there is indeed... a technical school that I believe can meet your company's needs for technical personnel."

Ok?

Upon hearing this answer, Liu Zhiqiang, who had just been all smiles, instantly turned serious. He glanced at Lin Mingyuan, then looked at Tan Zhifei with a wry smile and said, "Director Tan, this... this isn't another temporary worker, is it?"

Tan Zhifei, looking embarrassed by the question, cleared his throat and said, "Assistant Liu, this..."

As he spoke, Tan Zhifei turned to look at Xu Hansheng, his expression seeming to say, "At this point, why aren't you trying to save the day?"

Xu Hansheng smiled and nodded at Tan Zhifei, indicating that Tan Zhifei could rest assured. Then he turned to Lin Mingyuan and said, "Comrade Lin Mingyuan, I want to reiterate that the research work must be meticulous and conscientious."

"I know you are Minister Lin's son, but precisely because you are Minister Lin's son, you need to set an example for everyone in your work."

"Although I did not participate in the research work on the central town, when I returned to the county last year, I heard from my neighbors that, with the strong advocacy and support of Secretary Qi, our county has built the first vocational and technical school focusing on CNC machine tools."

"As far as I know, Yu Hui Vocational Technical School in our county has 132 experienced vocational teachers and can provide about 2,000 outstanding skilled workers to the community every year."

"It is precisely because of Secretary Qi's foresight and unique vision that our county has become the county with the most abundant technical talent reserves among the seven counties surrounding Qingshan City."

"Even though I've only been working for less than three months, I feel honored and proud that our county has become a major technology county!"

"But you've been working in the county party committee's research office for four years now, how come you don't even know these most basic things?"

"Where is your research focused? Have you truly considered what companies actually need?"

I……

Lin Mingyuan was so shocked by Xu Hansheng's scolding that his mind went blank, and he stared at Xu Hansheng with a look of utter astonishment on his face.

It wasn't because Xu Hansheng knew so much about the data within Yutong County, but rather, why did Xu Hansheng suddenly turn on me?

In front of Liu Zhiqiang, Tan Zhifei, Robin, and a group of leaders from the central town, his shortcomings were exposed in public!

Xu Hansheng's face suddenly darkened, and he frowned, saying to Lin Mingyuan, "Comrade Lin Mingyuan, whatever the reason, after today's inspection, you must immediately submit a sincere self-criticism."

Senseless!

Lin Mingyuan was truly dumbfounded this time.

Was it necessary for Xu Hansheng to do this?

This is clearly making a mountain out of a molehill!

Moreover, given the situation just now, Xu Hansheng didn't need to scold him at all; he just needed to pick up the conversation and smooth things over.

How could this happen?

In an instant, cold sweat broke out on Lin Mingyuan's forehead.

This is just a small problem!

If a more serious problem arises, how will Xu Hansheng escalate the situation?

Gu Yuan and Jiang Tao, who were standing nearby, also clearly sensed that Xu Hansheng's attitude towards Lin Mingyuan today was completely different from before.

For the past two weeks, Lin Mingyuan's smiling welcome and all-around praise could easily have been an act.

Damn it!

He could act for more than half a month without any flaws, and the entire department believed it to be true. Even Zhao Dongxu complained because Xu Hansheng was too biased towards Lin Mingyuan.

How deep must Xu Hansheng's scheming be?

"Comrade Lin Mingyuan, I'm talking to you!"

Xu Hansheng frowned, looked at the silent Lin Mingyuan, and coldly pressed him for an answer.

"Yes, Section Chief Xu, I'll write a self-criticism as soon as I get back..."

Lin Mingyuan swallowed hard, looking completely lost.

Xu Hansheng nodded in satisfaction, then turned to Robin and said, "Secretary Luo, the data I provided to Assistant Liu earlier should be correct, right?"

Robin scrutinized Xu Hansheng for a long time with a complicated expression before nodding slightly and saying, "Section Chief Xu's data is too precise, even down to the single digit. I really admire him."

It must be said that even Robin might not be able to understand the situation in Central Town as well as Xu Hansheng.

Putting everything else aside, he couldn't even answer the question of how many teaching staff were involved in this technology!

Is this guy some kind of monster?

Xu Hansheng then smiled and looked at Liu Zhiqiang, saying, "Uncle Liu, your company can rest assured about our talent pool. Our county has the most abundant talent pool in the entire Qingshan City!"

"The costs of recruiting and employing workers are definitely much lower than those in neighboring districts and counties."

Liu Zhiqiang gave Xu Hansheng a thumbs-up, then turned to Tan Zhifei and said, "Section Chief Xu is truly professional!"
