The roads in the tribe have all been rebuilt using stones that the orcs specially quarried from the mountains. They were laid out one by one, smooth and neat.

After Bai Ze finished eating, he swept the fallen leaves outside the cave into a pile and placed them along with the kitchen waste by the roadside. Later, beastmen would transport them to the vicinity of the breeding farm, where there were specially dug pits to compost farmland fertilizer.

Yan's childish voice suddenly came from not far away. The child, her face flushed from running, exclaimed excitedly in her beautiful eyes, "My brothers are back!"

Bai Ze smiled and took Yan's chubby little hand: "Then let's go pick up our brothers together."

"Great!" the child exclaimed excitedly, flapping his short legs. "When my brother and his family left, they said they would help me find lots and lots of bird eggs."

"I want to hatch them all."

"That way I'll have even more beautiful little birds!"

Bai Ze smiled and gently ruffled Yan's soft hair. Ever since the child found a fledgling bird that had fallen from its nest during a storm, her fondness for small animals had skyrocketed.

At first, Li not only had to feed her own baby, but also the little bird. One opened its mouth wide and made "ah ah ah" sounds, while the other made "chirp chirp chirp" sounds. Yan had to feed each of them, which made Li very busy.

Xing sat beside him, grinning from ear to ear, secretly plotting something. She told Yan that the little bird wanted to eat bird food, and Yan actually asked the beast father to give it special treatment. Li looked at the expectant little bird and sighed, rubbing his forehead.

Yan even wanted the bird chick to call Li "father," which scared Li so much that he waved his hands repeatedly, saying that he didn't want a bird baby.

The child pouted, looking quite aggrieved, as if he felt his father didn't like his younger brother.

Later, Mo and the others were overjoyed to see Yan seriously introducing his little bird brother to them, and they all ran over to congratulate Li on the "addition of a son".

Once Yan became a little more intelligent, he stopped calling the little bird "brother, brother" every day, but he still occasionally dragged his father into the forest to catch insects for his pets to eat.

On the way to the center of the tribe, Bai Ze passed by the school and glanced inside. The "teacher" was writing on a stone slab, and the children inside were using sharpened sticks to write carefully on the leaves of large leaves, each stroke distinct and their little faces very serious.

Bai Ze turned his head and suddenly asked, "Yan, why aren't you at school?"

Yan was very confident at this moment: "That's for the toddler class. We've already had classes in our regular class."

"I can write all the words on this page."

Bai Ze immediately launched into praise mode: "Yan is truly amazing!"

The boys who had returned from the hunt had arrived at the tribe. Xi Yuan saw his father and the others from afar and immediately waved and ran over. His fluffy curly hair was blown by the wind, revealing the wisps of hair on his forehead. He smiled just like he did back then, cute and clever, like a sunny puppy.

Jue followed closely behind, his slightly parted bangs partially obscuring his eyebrows and eyes. His hair had grown quite long, and Bai Ze often liked to braid it into small braids when he was bored, then string on beautiful gemstones and pearls. In the sunlight, his features became even more refined and handsome, making him look like a beautiful little prince.

Both children have grown much taller, and Bai Ze and Qing now have to look up slightly when speaking to them: "Are you hurt?"

Xi turned around and even used an idiom: "Completely intact."

"Jue is sitting on my back, shooting her prey one arrow at a time! We're such good teammates!" He nudged Jue with his elbow, raising an eyebrow. "Right?"

Jue smiled and nodded: "Yes, Xi is very good at hunting."

Yan ran over with her short legs, shouting, "Brother, brother, you're finally back!"

I miss you all so much!

Xi scooped him up in her arms and held him high in the air, teasingly asking, "Did you miss us, or the bird eggs?"

Yan chuckled, "I want them all, I want them all!"

Jue pulled a large bundle from the animal skin bag, removed layers of dry grass, revealing colorful bird eggs inside: "Yan, take a look and see if there are any you like?"

Yan's eyes lit up, and she jumped down, her mouth agape, so excited she was almost incoherent: "Th-thank you, brother!"

You guys are the absolute best!!!

Xingchao, Bai Ze, and Qing smiled helplessly: "My house is going to become a bird's nest again."

"When Li comes back, I'll probably have to help incubate the eggs."

At dinner time, Bai Ze took Jue to his father, the beast father's house. Lan and Xiao were busy around the stove for a long time, making a table full of food. Jue was a big eater at his age, and Xiao and Lan kept putting food on his plate and adding rice to his plate. In the end, he ate until he was stuffed.

Bai Ze had been feeling sleepy lately. After washing up, he went into the cave. Jue, wanting to digest her food, went to tend to the orchard.

Tie Dan followed its little master around excitedly. Its dearest person had returned, and it was overjoyed. Even without fruit, it was still incredibly happy.

Jue perfectly inherited Mo's habit of getting up early. Just as dawn was breaking, she took Tiedan to the forest to collect firewood and sharpen his claws. When they returned, it was still early, so she washed the dirty clothes she had changed out of the day before and also cooked breakfast.

Suddenly, familiar footsteps came from outside the cave. Jue looked up and saw her father, who was covered in dust, walking towards her with a large stack of things in his arms.

Jue stepped forward: "Father of the Beasts."

"Okay, put this on the table." After handing him the item, Mo strode into the cave, his eagerness evident even in his retreating figure.

Jue looked down and touched what seemed to be a light gauze from the Mermaid Clan. He didn't open it, but placed it unopened in a conspicuous spot in the cave. After all, the Beast Father loved to see the surprised expression on his father's face when he unwrapped a gift, and he was quite perceptive and had good emotional intelligence.

Inside the cave, on a stone bed covered with thick animal hide blankets, Bai Ze was fast asleep, clutching Mo's pillow. Soft strands of hair were scattered on the side of his fair face, and his breathing was long and steady.

Mo stood by the bed, stared at him for a few seconds, then leaned in and kissed his partner's forehead, nose, and lips. He then touched his face and hands, and rubbed against his neck.

Bai Ze's eyelashes trembled slightly, he turned over and buried his face in the pillow. Mo covered him with the blanket again before leaving the cave.

Jue stood by the stove, looked up and asked, "Breakfast is ready. Should we call your father?"

"No need, let your father-in-law sleep a little longer."

Mo had traveled all night and was starving. After sitting down and eating a few biscuits, he arranged for Jue to go to the center of the tribe to collect the supplies, while he took his clothes to the hot spring on the mountainside to take a bath.

When Bai Ze opened his eyes, he saw a clean-cut Mo lying by the bed, with two fluffy animal ears showing, staring intently at him, its tail wrapped around his wrist.

Bai Ze rubbed his eyes, exclaiming incredulously, "You're back!"

"Yeah, you're back." Mo smiled and kissed him, then pulled him into her arms, buried her face in his chest and took a few deep breaths, whispering, "I missed you so much."
