Huayu Entertainment: The Birth of a Succubus Top Star

As soon as the National Day gala performance ended, Gu Zhiyan left immediately.

Tong Yaya is still waiting for him.

Tong Yaya also participated in the National Day military parade today, but she was on the reviewing stand.

Black stockings, bodycon skirt, high heels, pigtails...

This outfit is anything but simple.

Increase attack speed drastically.

A sudden storm broke out overnight, which goes without saying.

……

A few days later, Sister Zhao gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and child are safe and sound.

Da Tiantian was incredibly curious about the newborn baby, spending all day in Sister Zhao's room watching the baby and giggling.

When Da Tiantian and Gu Zhiyan left together to attend the opening ceremony of "Si Teng" in Shangri-La, she still looked reluctant to part.

Gu Zhiyan has been frequently trending on social media recently.

Just as the controversy surrounding Peng Yuchang's billing order subsided, the popularity of "Gu Zhiyan's 'As You Wish'" skyrocketed.

After its release, "As You Wish" quickly went viral across the internet, becoming a phenomenal work that combines popularity, critical acclaim, and social impact.

Upon release, it immediately topped the charts on multiple platforms, including Tencent Music and Crying Dog Music, sweeping across various charts.

The new song received over a thousand comments in less than ten minutes after its release.

The song has been widely used as background music for short videos, sparking spontaneous remixes and maintaining its popularity on short video platforms.

Moreover, the popularity has not faded over time, but has continued to grow, demonstrating a strong vitality that transcends social circles and time.

Shortly after its release, it was hailed as the "National Day BGM" of 2019 and a phenomenal work of the year.

This year, Gu Zhiyan released two new songs, "The Lone Warrior" and "Do You Know".

Both songs are phenomenal hits.

His previously released songs, even after several years, have consistently ranked high on the charts of major music platforms, and their popularity on various short video platforms remains consistently high.

What saddens countless singers is that music is merely a side job for Gu Zhiyan.

Calling it a side job is perfectly accurate. Gu Zhiyan releases songs entirely based on her mood and has never participated in any music variety shows. Even attending major music award ceremonies depends on whether she has the time or not.

He devoted most of his energy to movies and television series.

The popularity of "As You Wish" continues to grow, and the topic of Gu Zhiyan and Da Tiantian's new drama "Si Teng" has once again become a trending topic.

What surprised industry insiders and netizens was that Gu Zhiyan actually accepted the role of the female lead in "Si Teng," willingly playing a supporting role to Da Tiantian, which sparked countless discussions and speculations.

"Given Gu Zhiyan's current status, any drama that isn't the lead role is simply not worthy of his identity. The 'Si Teng' production team is amazing; they actually managed to cast Gu Zhiyan in the role."

"Hehe, still don't understand? It's not the 'Si Teng' production team that's awesome, it's Da Tian Tian who's awesome, okay?"

"These two must be having an affair, otherwise Gu Zhiyan wouldn't lower himself to help Da Tiantian."

"Of course it goes without saying. Da Tian Tian doesn't even bother to act normally; she'd practically throw herself at anyone. But there are so many female celebrities who throw themselves at anyone; it's hard to tell what's real and what's fake."

"Brother Xiaoyan spoils Da Tiantian so much, I'm shipping them!"

"Hooray! Hooray! Looking forward to Gu Zhiyan and Da Tiantian's second collaboration."

……

The TV series "Si Teng" was initially only an A-level project, but after Gu Zhiyan confirmed his participation, Youku immediately upgraded it to an S+ level.

The original investment and budget were moderate to low, and funds were tight. Director Li Muge's original plan was to "spend money wisely".

Now things are much better; the funding is more than enough.

Li Muge was incredibly excited, and Gu Zhiyan's participation meant that the show had a very good chance of becoming a huge hit.

After all, Gu Zhiyan's reputation speaks for itself.

The show's huge success brought him many benefits as the director.

Thank you, Brother Yan!

The director was happy, and the producer was happy too.

The producer of this drama is Jia Shikai, an old acquaintance of Gu Zhiyan. His Yuekai Film and Television is one of the producers and investors.

Jia Shikai could almost see the show become a huge hit, with money pouring into his pockets.

Although, as is customary, Gu Zhiyan's joining a project would inevitably require him to share a significant portion of the investment, Jia Shikai had no complaints whatsoever.

Because Gu Zhiyan joined the company, the pie grew bigger, the investment share decreased, but the profits increased.

Putting aside other factors, the fact that brands came knocking on the door simply demonstrates this point.

Besides Da Tian Tian, there are two other young ladies in the cast of "Si Teng" who have a close relationship with Gu Zhiyan.

Sister Meng and Zhou Ye.

Sister Meng was arranged to come in by Jia Shikai.

Once the news of Gu Zhiyan playing the male lead was released, the production team of "Si Teng," which had previously received no attention, saw female roles in the drama suddenly become highly sought after by various actresses.

Gu Zhiyan is a guarantee of high ratings. This drama is a huge hit, and as an actor in the drama, I might also become famous.

If something were to happen between me and Gu Zhiyan again, hehe...

Just look at Da Tian Tian, she really gives a lot!

How could Jia Shikai allow such a good thing to fall into the hands of an outsider? He immediately arranged a role for Sister Meng.

Not only is Sister Meng one of his own artists, but he can also please Gu Zhiyan. It's a win-win situation, so why not?

Zhou Ye's role wasn't arranged by Gu Zhiyan, but rather Li Bingbing took the initiative to speak to him.

Since they're family, we definitely have to make arrangements for them.

Meng Jie plays the role of An Man, the ex-girlfriend of Gu Zhiyan's character in the drama.

This role wasn't difficult for Sister Meng; her acting skills are quite good.

Over the years, people have criticized Meng Jie in this and that, but no one has ever said that her acting skills are bad.

Zhou Ye plays the role of Shen Yindeng, a ruthless member of the Chisan tribe.

For Zhou Ye, who played Wei Lai in "Better Days", this role was a piece of cake.

Gu Zhiyan was practically an emperor on set, while director Li Muge was still a nobody, and Jia Shikai was eager to flatter Gu Zhiyan every day.

In fact, when someone of Gu Zhiyan's stature is involved, most production crews have to listen to him, whether it's the director or the producer.

Aside from encountering directors of Chen Shiren and Zhang Yimou's caliber, even they have to respect Gu Zhiyan's opinion.

Changing the script or adding scenes is not a problem at all.

But Gu Zhiyan had never done that before. He wasn't some kind of domineering actor; he left professional tasks to professionals.

This is one of the reasons why he has a good reputation in the industry.

However, Gu Zhiyan exercised his special privileges a little today.

"What? You want to collect it?"

Gu Zhiyan saw that Da Tiantian was staring at the gorgeous cheongsams and couldn't take her eyes off them. She immediately saw through her little thoughts and asked.

"Yes, yes, it's so beautiful." Da Tian nodded vigorously.

"Then we'll take them all after filming is over," Gu Zhiyan said, waving his hand dismissively.

"Really?" Da Tiantian's eyes lit up.

"Why not? Don't forget, I'm the investor in this show," Gu Zhiyan waved his hand. "Okay, I'll prepare a few more outfits for you, so we can wear them in different styles."

The production team originally prepared more than eighty outfits for Da Tiantian, with cheongsams making up the majority. Gu Zhiyan decided to double that number.

If we can use it, we can use it; if not, we can just consider it as buying new clothes for Da Tian Tian.

Besides, it won't be a waste. Whether it's needed for filming or not is another matter, but it will definitely be useful off-screen.

It's been a long time since I've seen Da Tian Tian's cheongsam fashion show.
