Survival in an apartment, starting with a stroke of luck on a plane

"Damn it! Die!" The warrior player was enraged. He roared, his muscles bulging as he entered a berserk state. He swung his double axes and charged towards Lin Yu like a whirlwind.

Faced with this powerful attack, Lin Yu neither dodged nor evaded.

He raised his left hand, and lightning gathered in his palm!

boom!

A white arc of lightning, as thick as a child's arm, struck first and then struck precisely at the center of the warrior's axe blade whirlwind.

The barbarian warrior's Whirlwind Slash was instantly broken, his entire body was charred black from the electric shock, his movements were stiffened, and his state was forcibly interrupted.

Lin Yu took a step forward, and the Demon-Slaying Sword easily pierced through the warrior's axe blade, stabbing into his heart.

puff!

The warrior player stared in disbelief at the blade in his chest before his massive body crashed to the ground.

Points +5

The remaining player completely broke down and turned to run away.

But he had only taken two steps when the ground beneath his feet suddenly cracked open, and several sturdy, emerald-green vines shot out like venomous snakes, tightly binding him.

The thorns on the vines injected poison, and he instantly lost the ability to resist.

Lin Yu didn't even glance at him. The Azure Rose appeared in his hand, and he aimed the gun at the earth elemental golem that was still futilely attacking the vines.

boom! boom! boom!

The bullet easily shattered the core of the earth element.

The puppets scattered into a pile of rubble.

The battle is over.

From the moment Lin Yu appeared until the entire 9002 squad was wiped out, the entire process took less than thirty seconds.

The three players from 9527 who were watching from the sidelines were completely dumbfounded, as if they had been petrified.

The formidable enemy they fought desperately to defeat was easily destroyed like a clay chicken or a clay dog by this mysterious player?!

Lin Yu sheathed the Demon-Slaying Sword and the Azure Rose, and walked up to the player who was entangled in vines.

Lin Yu didn't waste any words and asked directly, "Who is that diamond-level player in your 9002 neighborhood? What are their abilities? Where are they located?"

The player screamed in agony, but he still roared, "Hahaha! I won't say a word, you bunch of 9527 trash, just wait to die!"

The 9002 player, tightly bound by vines, had a contorted face, and unparalleled pain was being inflicted upon him.

But he also knew very well that dying once only meant losing one level, but if he leaked his own team's information in order to survive, even if he managed to survive the game, he would have nowhere to stay when he returned to the community, and might even suffer unimaginable retaliation.

Therefore, he chose to fight to the bitter end.

"Dream on! I won't tell you a single word, you 9527 idiots!" he roared hoarsely, his tone filled with manic provocation.

Lin Yu stared at him expressionlessly, his heart completely unmoved.

He understood the other party's choice. Under these rules, unless one possessed special mind manipulation or torture techniques, it would be difficult to extract information from a player who was determined to die.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have that kind of ability, and continuing to waste time is just futile.

"Then I'll grant your wish."

Lin Yu's voice was calm and even, but with a slight thought, the symbiotic vines that were wrapped around the other person suddenly contracted.

The sharp thorns instantly inject a stronger dose of neurotoxin, while the vines themselves unleash a terrifying strangling force.

"ah--!"

With a brief but piercing scream, the player's body rapidly deformed as it was entangled by the emerald vines, before dissipating into a streak of white light.

The score jumped again.

The battle was completely over, leaving only three shaken players from the 9527 neighborhood.

They looked at Lin Yu, their eyes filled with a mixture of relief at surviving the ordeal and deep awe.

"Thank you so much for your help!" The leading warrior player was the first to recover and hurriedly stepped forward, speaking respectfully.

Lin Yu waved his hand, glanced at them, and asked, "How are you all doing?"

"Sure! We'll recover quickly!" the warrior player replied immediately, then hesitated slightly before adding, "You...you're the 'Demon Hunter' mentioned in the channel, right? I heard you summoned the undead army before..."

"It's me." Lin Yu didn't deny it; it was no secret anymore.

"The void storm has disrupted our plans, and now we're fighting on our own. If you'd like, you can temporarily join me to collect crystals."

Upon hearing this, the three of them immediately showed expressions of ecstatic joy.

Being able to follow such a powerful player who can summon platinum-level undead with a wave of his hand and slay gold-level players like mowing grass will undoubtedly greatly improve one's chances of survival and gaining points.

"Yes! We're willing! Thank you for taking us with you!" the three said in unison, immediately taking the time to treat their injuries and recover.

Lin Yu then used this brief interval to activate his Heavenly Eye again, sensing the energy flow of the surrounding floating islands.

Jinling also spread its wings and flew high, serving as a sentinel in the air.

Not long after, the team set off again.

With the cooperation of three teammates familiar with conventional combat methods, Lin Yu's efficiency in dealing with scattered enemies and small resource points has significantly improved.

He was primarily responsible for dealing with troublesome enemies and major threats, while his three teammates were responsible for clearing out the grunts, collecting scattered crystals, and guarding the flanks.

Lin Yu's existence, like a powerful core, gradually attracted more players from 9527 who had survived the void storm and learned of his location through channel information.

Within a few hours, a team of more than ten players gathered around him, including two gold-level players who rushed over after hearing the news.

Led by Lin Yu, this team specializes in finding and eliminating lone or small groups in the 9002 neighborhood to seize the search energy crystals.

Lin Yu's personal points rose rapidly, firmly holding the top spot, and his team also made a significant contribution to the total points of the 9527 community.

Within the channel, news of the "Witcher" and his team's victories came one after another, greatly boosting the morale of the players in the 9527 community.

Their fighting spirit, which had been somewhat dampened by the rumors of diamond-level status, was reignited.

Many scattered players began to spontaneously move towards the area where Lin Yu's team was active, or followed their example and organized elite squads to take the initiative.

On the other hand, although the 9002 neighborhood still had the overall advantage, it began to appear somewhat flustered under the constant harassment of Lin Yu's "guerrilla force".

On the leaderboard, 9527 community not only caught up with the gap, but even began to gradually overtake, and its lead continues to widen.

……

9002 Community Command Channel.

The atmosphere was so oppressive it was suffocating.

The burly man with the ID "Lava Behemoth" slammed his fist into the rock beside him, the scorching heat instantly melting a corner of it. He growled, "Damn it! It's all that bastard called 'Demon Hunter''s' fault! If it weren't for that sudden void storm, I would have wiped out the Wind Swordmaster's team long ago!"

The player with the ID "Frost Witch" said, "There's no point in complaining now. The problem is that this 'Witcher' is far stronger than we expected in the 9527 neighborhood."

Not only can they summon platinum-level creatures, but their own combat power is also extremely formidable. If this continues, the point gap will only widen.

Another assassin player with the ID "Shadow Assassin," the one who had previously harassed Night Blade, said in a cold voice: "We must find a way to stop this guy. He is 9527's current morale and scoring machine. Taking him down will not only give us a lot of points, but also deal a heavy blow to their morale."

[Lava Behemoth] looked at the other two who had remained silent in the channel: [Holy Light Warrior], [Roar of the Earth], what do you two think?

A player with the ID "Holy Light Warrior" said, "I agree with Shadow's idea. We can't let the Demon Hunters run rampant any longer."

No matter how strong he is, he's still only a Platinum-level player. If we join forces, we can easily crush him.

The player with the ID "Roar of the Earth" also chimed in: "That works. We can concentrate our forces and act quickly to prevent the others in 9527 from getting a chance to provide support."

The Lava Behemoth's eyes flashed with ferocity: "Alright! It's settled then! Based on his recent activity patterns, his next destination is very close to here, so we'll ambush him there!"

The Frost Witch added, "I will set up an Frost Barrier beforehand to restrict them. Shadow Spike, take a look at the eagle on his shoulder; its senses are extremely sharp."

[Shadow Assassin]: "Understood."

[Divine Arrow]: "Well, I might not be able to come over there anytime soon."

[Holy Light Warrior]: "Divine Arrow, learn that Demon Hunter's method and team up to farm points."

[Divine Arrow]: "Alright, then I wish you a successful mission."

The six reached a consensus and immediately began to take action.

……

At the same time, Lin Yugang led his team to kill a squad of 9002.

The whole process was clean and efficient; the other party didn't even get a chance to send a distress signal.

"Boss, these are the crystals we just collected." A gold-level player handed several energy crystals to Lin Yu.

The team members all voluntarily handed over most of the collected crystals to Lin Yu for safekeeping, both to concentrate the points and because Lin Yu was the strongest and could better ensure the safety of the crystals.

As for the ranking rewards after the game ends, now is not the time to worry about that. If 9527 loses, forget about the rewards, everyone will be forced to move.

It will be too late to regret it then.

Lin Yu did not refuse, took the crystal, and stored it in his storage space.

He glanced at the system map and the leaderboard; 9527's lead had widened considerably.

But this did not make him relax; on the contrary, it made him even more vigilant.

The 9002 community suffered such a huge loss; it's impossible for them to remain silent.

They must be planning a counterattack.

And the primary target is likely to be oneself, the "first bird to stick its head out".

"Take a ten-minute break and check your equipment and condition," Lin Yu instructed.

The team members readily agreed and went to find places to rest, check their weapons, and use their supplies.

Their continuous joint operations had made them completely convinced of Lin Yu's orders.

Jin Ling perched on Lin Yu's shoulder, her sharp eyes scanning the strangely shaped stone forest around her. She then gently pecked at Lin Yu's earlobe with some unease.

Lin Yu stroked its feathers and whispered, "You sensed it too? It's unusually quiet here."

He quietly channeled a wisp of magical power into the (fake) Heavenly Eye on his forehead, and an invisible ripple of perception spread outwards.

The Heavenly Eye can see through illusions, perceive energy flows, and is resistant to traps and illusions.

But Lin Yu failed to detect any clues.

However, the feeling of being locked in danger lingered.

Ten minutes passed quickly.

"Let's go." Lin Yu stood up, his expression calm, but his vigilance was already at its highest.

He walked casually at the front of the group, but in reality, every step he took was filled with vigilance, ready to activate [space jump] at any moment.

The group slowly ventured deeper into the stone forest.

Here, stone pillars stand tall, the paths are winding, and the light is dim due to the pillars blocking the way.

When the group reached a relatively open area surrounded by tall stone pillars, a sudden change occurred.

Om-!

An extremely cold aura instantly enveloped an area of several hundred meters, causing the ground to quickly freeze into a thick layer of ice, and the water vapor in the air to freeze into ice crystals that fell down in a flurry.

Everyone froze, their movement speed plummeted, and even the flow of energy seemed to become sluggish.

【Frost Barrier】.

"Enemy attack! Prepare to meet the enemy!" Lin Yu reacted extremely quickly, shouting sharply the moment the barrier was activated. At the same time, he fully activated the Divine Fire Heart Sutra within his body, and pure Yang Heart Fire burst forth, forming a golden-red halo around his body, forcibly dispelling the chill, and his movements instantly returned to normal.

But his teammates weren't so lucky. Apart from two gold-level players who could barely move, the other silver-level players were almost frozen and could barely move.

Almost at the same time the barrier was activated, five powerful auras erupted from different directions, firmly locking onto Lin Yu and his team.

Directly ahead, the massive body of the Lava Beast stepped out from behind the stone pillar. Its lava skin shimmered with a dark red light, and its scorching aura contrasted sharply with the surrounding frost. It roared with laughter, "Witcher!"

On the left, [Roar of the Earth] slammed his giant axe into the ground, and with a roar, countless sharp stalagmites burst forth from the soil, covering the area where Lin Yu's team was located, aiming to create chaos and kill ordinary team members.

On the right, the [Holy Light Warrior] hovered in mid-air, his longsword radiating holy light, and beams of blazing light fell towards Lin Yu.

The most lethal attack comes from the rear.

【Shadow Thorn】Using the cover of the barrier and the shadow of the stone pillar, it appeared silently behind Lin Yu. Two poisoned daggers with a cold glint in their eyes, one aimed straight for his back and the other for his throat.

"Watch out behind you!" the team members exclaimed, but they were in dire straits themselves and unable to offer any assistance.

However, just as the attack arrived, Lin Yu seemed to have a cloak on his back that moved without wind, pulling him to the side to dodge.

"laugh!"

The poisoned dagger grazed the edge of the Heavenly Cloak, sending sparks flying.

The other dagger was precisely parried by Lin Yu's backhand swing of the Demon-Slaying Sword.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time!" Lin Yu's eyes were icy cold, showing no sign of panic.

He had anticipated the ambush, but he hadn't expected them to value him so much, sending out five Platinum-level members at once.

Why not just bring them all?

As Lin Yu parried the dagger, a vine had already pierced the ground from the heel of his left foot.

"Plant Life Models!"

Rumble—!

The ground trembled violently, and countless main roots of willow vines burst forth wildly from the soil of the stone forest.

Thick, python-like vines burst from the ground, instantly weaving into a mobile green barrier that not only blocked most of the spiked attacks but also actively entangled and lashed out at the four ambushers.

Especially against [Shadow Thorn], seven or eight vines with sharp, poisonous thorns followed him closely, tightly entwining him and greatly restricting his agility.

"What?!" Shadow Assassin was shocked. He hadn't expected Lin Yu to react so quickly.

Of course, what he didn't expect was that these vine attacks would be so troublesome.

To prevent any accidents, he had to quickly use his ability to escape into the darkness, away from Lin Yu and these troublesome vines.

At the same time, the golden feather on Lin Yu's shoulder emitted a clear eagle cry, and with a flap of its wings, countless golden feathers shot towards the [Holy Light Warrior] in the air like arrows, interrupting his spellcasting.

"I'll start with you!"

Lin Yu's gaze was fixed on [Roar of the Earth]. Before he could finish speaking, his figure blurred on the spot as [Spatial Leap] was activated.

Almost instantly, he appeared in front of [Earth Roar], who was unleashing earth spikes and battling vines.

The distance between the two instantly closed.

"So fast!" [Earth Roar]'s pupils contracted, a sense of crisis exploding within him.

Earth Barrier!

He roared, and without thinking, his arm muscles bulged, and a thick, rock-like energy shield instantly solidified in front of him.

The moment the shield was formed, Lin Yu's sword arrived.

"break!"

Lin Yu gripped the Demon-Slaying Sword tightly with both hands. On the sword's blade, inner fire and lightning merged, transforming into a lightning-fire sword aura that tore through the air with a sharp whistling sound, slashing down with the force of splitting mountains and cleaving peaks.

Even before the sword energy arrived, the scorching and violent energy had already caused the surface of the [Earth Barrier] to fluctuate violently.

boom!!!

The lightning-fire sword energy clashed violently with the earthen-yellow shield, and a deafening explosion instantly erupted.

The red and blue energies clashed and compressed wildly, forming a visible shockwave that rippled outwards, shattering the frost on the ground and sending debris flying.

"Snap!"

The stalemate lasted only a moment before a piercing cracking sound rang out.

On the surface of the [Earth Barrier] shield, spiderweb-like cracks instantly spread across the entire shield surface, centered on the point where the blade struck.

[Roar of the Earth]'s expression changed drastically as he frantically channeled his energy in an attempt to stabilize the situation, but—

boom! ! !

The thick energy shield could not withstand the extreme sharpness and violence, and it exploded into countless fragments.

The shattered energy fragments scattered like flying knives, striking the surrounding stone pillars and leaving deep marks.

With the shield broken, the momentum of the Demon-Slaying Sword decreased slightly, but it was still sharp.

The Thunderfire Sword Qi struck the arms of [Earth Roar] who were crossing and blocking without any hindrance.

"Pfft!"

"Ugh—!"

[Roar of the Earth] let out a painful roar as his arms were easily severed by the sword blade intertwined with lightning and fire, as if a hot knife were cutting through butter.

Blood gushed out like two jets of blood from the severed elbows, and the enormous impact sent his body flying backward.

Lin Yu pressed his advantage relentlessly, stomping his foot so hard that the ground cracked, and his figure followed closely behind like a shadow.

Before [Roar of the Earth] even hit the ground, Lin Yu's left hand formed a sword shape with his fingers together, lightning condensing at the tip, and he slammed it towards the heart.

scoff!

A condensed white arc of lightning struck first, hitting [Earth Roar] precisely in the chest.

The lightning exploded, and [Earth Roar] trembled all over. Its chest was instantly charred black, and its internal organs were severely damaged by the power of the lightning.

His massive body flew backward at an even faster speed, crashing heavily into a thick stone pillar behind him with a loud "boom".

[Roar of the Earth] was embedded in the stone pillar, and suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood mixed with fragments of internal organs. Its head tilted to the side, the light in its eyes dimmed instantly, and its breath stopped completely.

The next moment, his body turned into white light and disappeared.

Points +50!

This scene caused the Lava Beast and the Frost Witch, who were preparing to surround them, to freeze abruptly, their eyes filled with horror and disbelief.

In a single encounter, less than a few seconds later, he killed a Platinum-level player, who was primarily focused on defense.

"Earth!" The Lava Beast roared as it charged forward, its eyes bloodshot, its lava fist slamming into Lin Yu's back with the force to incinerate everything.

The Frost Witch chanted again, and countless ice spears condensed in the air, raining down on Lin Yu.

[Shadow Thorn] appeared, weaving through the vines, before disappearing back into the shadows, its target clearly still Lin Yu.

The Holy Light Warrior barely dodged Jin Ling's feather attack. He was about to join the attack on Lin Yu when Jin Ling attacked and entangled him.

Although Jinling still hadn't broken through to Platinum, it wasn't difficult for her to hold off a Platinum player who didn't rely on attack power, thanks to her speed and divine beast bloodline.

On the other side, Lin Yu seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. He flashed and dodged the heavy punch of the [Lava Beast]. His Hun Tian Cloak grew behind him in the wind, blocking all the ice spears.

"Next up is you!" Lin Yu ignored the giant [Lava Beast] and fixed his gaze on the [Frost Witch] in the distance.

Under the cover of the flower fairy, he bypassed the Lava Beast's obstruction and rushed towards the Frost Witch like a ghost.

Wherever it passed, crimson flames burst forth from its body, and the frost on the ground quickly melted away.

The Frost Witch's expression changed drastically. She slammed her staff on the ground, and a thick ice wall instantly rose up. At the same time, a rapidly spinning ice crystal shield appeared around her body.

Swish!

Lin Yu neither dodged nor evaded, but thrust the Demon-Slaying Sword straight out, unleashing a burst of highly compressed lightning and fire power from its tip.

boom!

The ice wall shattered! The sword tip struck the spinning ice crystal shield hard.

Sizzle sizzle sizzle—!

A piercing, frictional explosion rang out as the power of lightning and fire clashed violently with the extreme cold ice crystals.

The shield fluctuated violently, its light flickering, and it looked like it was about to give way.

At that very moment, Shadow Assassin reappeared.

This time, he chose the moment when Lin Yu's attack paused and his force shifted, and the dagger shot out like a venomous snake, aiming straight for Lin Yu's waist.

"I was prepared for this!"

Lin Yu, however, seemed to have been prepared, and his left hand, which had been still motionless, suddenly shot out.

His left hand, clad in a dark red glove, exuded a violent aura as he reached for the poisoned dagger.

"What the hell? Catching a blade with bare hands?" A hint of disdain flashed in [Shadow Assassin's] eyes.

However, in the next instant, his disdain turned into terror.

Clang!

The sound of metal clashing against metal rang out.

The palm of the Hate Glove clashed violently with the tip of the dagger, sparks flying everywhere.

A powerful recoil force sent a jolt through [Shadow Assassin]'s wrist, causing excruciating pain and numbness.
