The little girl blushed slightly: "I didn't dance well, and I even stepped on your foot just now."

"That's because you're not familiar with it," Bo Jinghuai said. "You'll get the hang of it with more practice."

He leaned closer, his nose almost touching hers.

"To learn or not to learn?"

Su Jingsheng's heart raced a little as he stared at her.

She whispered, "Learn."

Bo Jinghuai was satisfied. He put his arm around her and gently stroked the back of her neck with his fingers.

That's where the glands are located; the skin there is smooth and slightly warm.

His pheromones silently leaked out a little, the scent of cedar mingling with the rose fragrance on her body.

Su Jingsheng squinted comfortably, like a kitten being stroked.

She whispered, "Jinghuai."

"Um?"

"It's so kind of you."

Bo Jinghuai paused for a moment.

He looked down at the top of her fluffy hair.

"Now you know I'm good?" His voice held a hint of mockery. "Who was it that dumped me before?"

Su Jingsheng stiffened.

She looked up at him, her almond-shaped eyes filled with confusion, and said, "I was wrong."

Bo Jinghuai stared at her for a few seconds, then sighed and skipped over this unsolvable topic.

He reached out and pulled her back into his arms. "Go to sleep, it's getting late."

……

The next morning, sunlight streamed in through the gaps in the curtains.

Su Jingsheng woke up first.

She lay on her side, looking at Bo Jinghuai's sleeping face.

When he was asleep, his eyebrows and eyes relaxed, and he was less aloof than usual; his eyelashes were very thick.

Su Jingsheng stared at him for a while before gently nudging his shoulder.

"Jinghuai," she said softly, "Get up."

Bo Jinghuai did not move.

Su Jingsheng nudged him again: "My dear Jinghuai, wake up."

Bo Jinghuai's eyelashes trembled, but he didn't open his eyes. He stretched out his arm and pulled her into his arms.

"Sleep a little longer." His voice was hoarse from just waking up.

Su Jingsheng nestled against his chest, poking his collarbone with her small hand: "No, we're going to play cards today."

Bo Jinghuai opened his eyes a crack and looked down at her: "What's the rush?"

"I want to learn it in advance," Su Jingsheng said, tilting her head up with her almond-shaped eyes full of anticipation.

"You promised to teach me yesterday."

Bo Jinghuai stared at her for a few seconds, then suddenly rolled over and pinned her beneath him.

He rested his elbow on her ear and pinched her cheek with his other hand.

"So eager to learn?" he asked lazily.

"Mmm." Su Jingsheng nodded vigorously, her slender white legs kicking gently under the covers. "Get up quickly."

Bo Jinghuai did not move.

He lowered his head and rubbed his nose against hers.

"Give me a kiss," he said. "Then get up."

Su Jingsheng blushed.

She raised her slender arms, wrapped them around his neck, and pulled him down.

Then she tilted her little face up and kissed him on the chin.

It was very light, like a feather brushing against you.

Bo Jinghuai's Adam's apple bobbed: "Not enough."

Su Jingsheng blinked, then leaned in again and kissed the corner of his mouth this time.

Bo Jinghuai still didn't make a move.

Su Jingsheng was getting a little anxious.

She cupped his face in her small hands and said earnestly, "Jinghuai, you have to keep your word."

Bo Jinghuai looked at her earnest little face and suddenly smiled.

He lowered his head, and this time he didn't kiss her lips, but buried his face in the crook of her neck and took a breath.

The scent of roses mixed with her clean, sweet fragrance sobered him up considerably.

"Your precious baby is swooning over the fragrance," he said as he rubbed against her.

Su Jingsheng felt a tickle on her neck from his teasing and shrank her shoulders, saying, "Stop messing around."

Bo Jinghuai looked up at her flushed face.

"Say it again," he said.

"What's your name?" Su Jingsheng asked blankly.

"What did you just call me?" Bo Jinghuai prompted.

Su Jingsheng thought for a moment, then whispered, "My precious Jinghuai?"

Bo Jinghuai was satisfied.

He lowered his head and kissed her eyelids this time.

Su Jingsheng closed her eyes.

Bo Jinghuai kissed her other eye.

Then he turned over and sat up.

Su Jingsheng also sat up, her long hair disheveled and draped over her shoulders, the neckline of her nightgown slightly askew, revealing a section of her snow-white shoulder.

Bo Jinghuai reached out and helped her pull up her collar.

"Go wash up," he said.

Su Jingsheng did not move.

She leaned closer, her slender white arms encircling his waist, her small face pressed against his back.

"Jinghuai," she called him softly.

"Um?"

"You still haven't said when you're going to teach me," she said, her voice slightly coquettish. "Can I teach you now?"

Bo Jinghuai turned around and grasped her wrist.

"The game doesn't start until this afternoon," he said. "What's the rush?"

"I want to learn first," Su Jingsheng shook his arm. "What if I can't learn it and embarrass you?"

Bo Jinghuai stared at her for a few seconds.

"So what if I'm embarrassed?" he said. "I'm Bo Jinghuai's Omega, so what if I can't play cards?"

Su Jingsheng pursed her lips and said softly, "But I want to learn."

She looked up at him, her almond-shaped eyes glistening with tears: "Please teach me, okay?"

Bo Jinghuai couldn't stand that kind of look in her eyes.

He sighed and released her wrist.

"I'll teach you after breakfast," he said.

Su Jingsheng's eyes immediately lit up.

She lunged forward, clinging to him, her slender legs wrapped around his waist.

"Jinghuai is the best!"

Bo Jinghuai was thrown back by her tackle, and instinctively supported her buttocks with his hands.

Su Jingsheng wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.

"This is a reward for you!"

Bo Jinghuai's eyes darkened.

He helped her to her feet, walked to the bathroom door, and placed her on the sink.

Su Jingsheng sat on the marble table, her slender legs dangling in the air, the hem of her nightgown slipping down to her thighs.

Bo Jinghuai stood in front of her, his hands supporting him on either side of her, encircling her in the middle.

"Su Jingsheng," he said.

"Um?"

"Don't pounce on me like that in the mornings anymore," he said in a low voice. "It could cause an accident."

Su Jingsheng blinked: "What happened?"

Bo Jinghuai did not answer.

He lowered his head and kissed her lips.

The kiss was deep, carrying the languor and desire of early morning.

Su Jingsheng's body went weak from his kisses, and she clutched the sash of his robe with her small hands.

Bo Jinghuai kissed him for a while before pulling away.

He looked at her rosy lips and rubbed them with his thumb.

"Got it?" he asked.

Su Jingsheng blushed and whispered, "I understand."

Bo Jinghuai was finally satisfied.

He lifted her off the sink and patted her shapely bottom.

"Wash up."
