The banquet had already begun when the two went aboard the deck.

Beside the huge outdoor pool, Omegas in bikinis laughed and played, while Alphas chatted in twos and threes, raising champagne.

Yan Sichen stood on the floating platform in the center of the pool, holding a thick stack of red envelopes in his hand.

He was wearing a floral shirt and white shorts, his hair was casually styled, and he had a cynical smile on his face.

"Catch!" he shouted, scattering the red envelope in his hand into the air.

Red paper scraps fluttered down, and the poolside staff immediately knelt down to pick them up.

The young men, mostly Betas and dressed in uniforms, moved swiftly, heads down, stuffing the scattered banknotes into their pockets.

Yan Sichen was pleased to see this and grabbed another stack of them, scattering them out.

"Young Master Yan is so generous!" someone exclaimed.

Yan Sichen laughed and jumped off the floating platform, splashing water everywhere.

He walked up to Bo Jinghuai, his gaze lingering on Su Jingsheng, and whistled.

"Oh, you really brought it."

Bo Jinghuai glanced at him and said, "Mind your own business."

Yan Sichen raised his hands in surrender: "Okay, okay, I'll shut up."

He turned to Su Jingsheng with a bright smile: "Little fairy, have fun! If you need anything, just tell the waiter and put it on my tab."

Su Jingsheng nodded: "Thank you, Young Master Yan."

"Don't mention it." Yan Sichen waved his hand and turned to plunge back into the crowd.

Bo Jinghuai led Su Jingsheng inside.

A makeshift bar had been set up there, and Lu Mohan and Pei Zixian were sitting on high stools.

Lu Mohan was wearing a black shirt, his expression cold and stern.

Pei Zixian was talking to an Omega girl next to him who was wearing a light blue dress. She was a high-level Omega with a pear blossom scent.

Upon seeing Bo Jinghuai, Pei Zixian looked up and adjusted his glasses: "You're here."

Lu Mohan also turned his head, his gaze lingering on Su Jingsheng for a moment before shifting away.

Bo Jinghuai sat down at the bar and pulled Su Jingsheng to the bar stool next to him.

He looked at the bartender: "A glass of juice."

The bartender quickly brought over a glass of orange juice, which Bo Jinghuai took and placed in front of Su Jingsheng.

"You drink this," he said.

Su Jingsheng held the cup and took small sips.

The juice was refreshingly cool, and she squinted her eyes comfortably.

Pei Zixian watched her movements and smiled, "Miss Su looks beautiful today."

Su Jingsheng looked up and smiled politely, "Thank you, Senior Pei."

Another commotion came from the poolside; Shen Qingyue had arrived.

Today she wore a strapless long dress and a diamond necklace, accompanied by several Omega girls, all of whom were well-known ladies in the aristocratic circles of Beijing.

Shen Qingyue wore a gentle smile and greeted people along the way, behaving with propriety.

She walked to the bar, looked at Bo Jinghuai, and said softly, "Jinghuai, you're here so early."

Bo Jinghuai nodded, but didn't say anything more to her.

Shen Qingyue didn't mind. She sat down next to Pei Zixian and nodded to the pear blossom-scented Omega girl.

The girl immediately greeted her obediently, "Hello, Miss Shen."

"Hello," Shen Qingyue replied with a smile, but her gaze drifted toward Su Jingsheng.

Su Jingsheng was drinking juice with her head down, her light pink skirt hanging down the side of the chair, revealing a section of her slender white ankles.

She wasn't wearing makeup, but her skin was so fair it was almost translucent, and her eyelashes were long and thick.

Shen Qingyue watched, her fingers tightening slightly.

Just then, Pei Yutong came skipping and hopping over.

"Brother!" She rushed to Pei Zixian's side and hugged his arm. "I'm here!"

Pei Zixian smiled helplessly: "Slow down."

Pei Yutong chuckled, then turned and saw Su Jingsheng, her eyes immediately lighting up.

She let go of Pei Zixian, ran to Su Jingsheng, and looked at her: "Jingsheng, you're here too!"

Su Jingsheng nodded: "Mm."

Pei Yutong moved even closer, almost touching her face: "You smell so good today, did you change your perfume?"

Su Jingsheng shrank back and whispered, "No."

"It smells so good." Pei Yutong took a deep breath, looking completely blissful. "Like a blooming rose."

Bo Jinghuai frowned, reached out and pulled Su Jingsheng closer to him, separating her from Pei Yutong.

Pei Yutong pouted and straightened up: "Stingy."

She turned around and ran back to Pei Zixian's side, tugging at his sleeve and shaking it: "Brother, I want to drink that pink cocktail."

Pei Zixian pressed her hand down: "You drink the juice."

"No," Pei Yutong pleaded, "Just one cup."

Pei Zixian didn't budge, and gestured to the bartender to pour her a glass of juice.

Pei Yutong pouted unhappily, but still took the drink and drank it.

……

The cruise ship slowly sailed away from the port, the setting sun completely sank into the sea, and the sky darkened.

The lights on the deck came on one by one, the music grew louder, and the noise from the crowd became even more enthusiastic.

Yan Sichen pulled out a stack of red envelopes from somewhere and started scattering them by the pool.

The waiters kept their heads down and quickly picked up the items.

A young waiter was in such a hurry that he accidentally bumped into an Alpha.

The Alpha, wearing a floral shirt and with an Omega girl in his arms, was bumped into, and his face darkened.

"Are you blind?" He kicked the waiter in the shin.

The waiter stumbled, and the banknotes in his hand scattered.

He lowered his head and apologized repeatedly, "I'm sorry, sir, I'm so sorry..."

Alpha wanted to kick again, but his companion pulled him back: "Alright, why bother arguing with a Beta?"

Alpha left, grumbling and cursing.

The waiter knelt down, silently picked up the scattered banknotes, and stuffed them back into his pocket.

His face remained expressionless, but his movements became faster.

Su Jingsheng watched this scene, her fingers tightening slightly.

Bo Jinghuai noticed her unusual behavior and turned to look at her: "What's wrong?"

Su Jingsheng shook her head and said softly, "It's nothing."

She lowered her eyes and continued drinking her juice.

The cold liquid slid down my throat, but it couldn't suppress the discomfort in my heart.

Bo Jinghuai stared at her for a few seconds, then suddenly reached out and took her hand.

"Don't overthink it," he said softly. "That's just how this industry is."

Su Jingsheng looked up, pursed her lips, and asked, "Jinghuai, would you do that too?"

Bo Jinghuai raised an eyebrow: "What?"

"That's right, they don't treat people like human beings." The little girl's voice was even softer.

Bo Jinghuai remained silent for a few seconds.

He gently stroked the back of her hand with his thumb, his voice calm: "I'm different from them."

"But remember, stay away from those Betas."

"In our world, Alphas control 90% of the resources, Omegas rely on Alphas for domestication, and Betas are just tools."

"So, don't get too close to them; it won't do you any good."

Su Jingsheng didn't speak.

She watched the waiters by the pool picking up money with their heads down, the Alphas chatting and laughing with Omegas, Shen Qingyue elegantly clinking glasses with people, and Pei Yutong running around lively.

This cruise ship is very luxurious and extravagant, a place of decadent indulgence.

But it was also very cold.

She suddenly felt very cold.

Bo Jinghuai noticed that her body trembled slightly, and tightened his grip on her shoulder.

"Cold?" he asked.

Su Jingsheng shook her head and moved closer to him.

He smelled of cedar, crisp and clean, a scent that gave her peace of mind.

Anxin felt so relieved that she wanted to cover her eyes and ears, refusing to hear or see anything.
