Bo Jinghuai was silent for a few seconds, then reached out and gently wiped the corner of her eye with his thumb.

"Okay, stop crying." His voice softened a little.

Su Jingsheng looked up at him with her wet eyes.

Looking at her like this, Bo Jinghuai felt a surge of helplessness again.

"But what will you do if you don't study?" he said softly, as if asking her, or as if talking to himself.

"You're not like me, an Enigma, nor a highly intelligent Alpha; you're just a spoiled Omega."

"You can't rely on others to support you your whole life and be good for nothing. Your life would be very boring."

As Su Jingsheng listened to his words, her tears slowly stopped.

She looked at Bo Jinghuai and found that there was no mockery or contempt in his eyes, but rather a serious worry.

Is he worried about her future?

Bo Jinghuai felt a little uncomfortable under her gaze, so he turned his face away and added, "Of course, if you really don't want to learn, that's fine too."

"I want to learn," Su Jingsheng suddenly said, her voice still soft and sweet from crying.

Bo Jinghuai turned back to look at her.

Su Jingsheng leaned forward and gently tugged at his sleeve with her small hand. "But I've fallen behind in too many classes, I can't learn it."

She tilted her little face up, her eyes red, like a pitiful little rabbit.

"Jinghuai, Alpha and Enigma are people who learn things extremely quickly. You're so smart, you'll definitely learn it very quickly."

She tugged at his sleeve, her voice softening, almost pleading, "Now that you've learned it, can you give me some extra lessons?"

Bo Jinghuai stared at her for a few seconds.

Tutoring?

He's always been the one being asked to solve problems since he was a child; he's never tutored anyone.

And he really doesn't know music theory.

After all, he had completed all his studies long ago, and had spent most of his time on exciting hobbies.

He began managing the Bo family business after he turned twenty.

He rarely came into contact with music.

But he is Bo Jinghuai.

Is there anything in this world that he can't learn?

Bo Jinghuai thought for a moment and concluded that there probably wasn't any.

"Okay." He agreed readily. "I'll learn it when I have some free time, and then I'll teach you."

Su Jingsheng's eyes lit up immediately.

Before her tears had even dried, she smiled, her lips curving into a smile.

"Jinghuai, you're so good to me!" She happily lunged forward, wrapping her slender white arms around his waist and burying her face in his chest.

Bo Jinghuai stiffened for a moment, raised his hand, hesitated for a moment, and then gently patted her back.

"Loosen up," he said, his voice a little harsh. "What do you look like?"

Su Jingsheng didn't loosen her grip; instead, she hugged him even tighter.

She lifted her head from his embrace, looking at him with bright, sparkling eyes: "Then lower your head."

Bo Jinghuai frowned: "What?"

"It's a reward for you," Su Jingsheng smiled like a little fox. "You promised to tutor me, so I'm going to reward you with a kiss."

Bo Jinghuai felt a heat in his ear roots.

He turned his face away, "Who cares?"

"I like it."

Su Jingsheng released her arms from his waist and instead took his large hand. Her hand was small and soft, and she could only hold a few of his fingers.

She stood on tiptoe again, gently hooked her other hand around his neck, and pulled him down.

Bo Jinghuai lowered his head following her pull, saying, "Su Jingsheng, can't you be a little more reserved?"

Before she could finish speaking, soft lips pressed against hers.

A very light kiss landed on the corner of his lips.

Instantly separate.

Su Jingsheng stepped back slightly, her eyes curving into crescents: "The rewards are all given out."

Bo Jinghuai stared at her face, which was so close to his own, and thought she was so beautiful.

And that kiss was too light; it was over before he could even taste it.

Bo Jinghuai's lingering displeasure resurfaced.

He suddenly reached out, grabbed the back of her head, pulled her back, and kissed her.

This time, it's not just a superficial attempt.

He held her lower lip in his mouth, kissed it a few times but still wasn't satisfied, so he pried open her teeth and went straight in.

Su Jingsheng sobbed softly, her hands pressed against his chest, but she couldn't push him away and could only let him kiss her.

In the distance, one could hear the footsteps and laughter of students passing by, but these sounds were muffled and indistinct, blocked by layers of tree shadows.

The thrill of being discovered at any moment made Bo Jinghuai kiss even deeper.

He tasted the sweet flavor in her mouth, mixed with the rose scent on her body, which made him reluctant to let go.

Su Jingsheng was breathless from his kisses and began to push him away with her small hands.

Bo Jinghuai then stepped back a little, but his hand was still around her waist.

"That's what a reward should be," he said hoarsely, his thumb tracing the corner of her pursed lips.

Su Jingsheng muttered under her breath, "Unreasonable."

Bo Jinghuai snorted and released her.

"Starting tomorrow, come back to my apartment with me for extra lessons," he said, straightening his shirt, which she had crumpled.

Su Jingsheng was taken aback. "Back to the apartment?"

"Otherwise what?" Bo Jinghuai raised an eyebrow. "You want to get extra lessons at school? You want the whole school to know that I, the young master, am giving you extra lessons?"

Su Jingsheng shook her head. "If I don't want to, going to the apartment is fine too."

"What should I bring?"

"Just use your brain." Bo Jinghuai turned to leave, then thought for a moment and turned back.

"Also, don't let your mind wander in class next time."

"If I catch you, your tutoring time will double."

Su Jingsheng watched his tall figure disappear into the twilight, and the corners of her lips slowly curled up.

Tutoring, huh?

That sounds like a good excuse for him to spend more time.
