Transmigrated into the body of the vain and materialistic ex-girlfriend of a young master
Chapter 222 Happy Sports Car 1
The mountain road.
The black Pagani glided through the bend like a ghost, its low-slung body and sharp lines resembling a lurking beast.
Bo Jinghuai held the steering wheel with one hand and rested the other on the back of the passenger seat.
He was wearing a simple black T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing the toned muscles in his forearms.
Su Jingsheng sat in the passenger seat, a creamy white knitted cardigan hanging loosely on her body, underneath which was a light pink slip dress.
She was wearing a seatbelt, gripping the handrails on either side of her, her almond-shaped eyes wide open.
"Drive slower," she whispered.
Bo Jinghuai glanced at her, a slight smile playing on his lips. "This is slow? I haven't even stepped on the gas yet."
Su Jingsheng pursed her lips. "Then you should slow down too."
"Afraid?"
"A little."
Bo Jinghuai reached out and took her small hand that was resting on her lap.
"Don't worry." He squeezed her fingers. "With you in the car, I'm more careful than anyone else."
Su Jingsheng looked at him without saying anything, but loosened her grip on the handrail.
The car continued up the mountain, winding its way up the mountain road, and with each bend, the view opened up a little more.
Bo Jinghuai was indeed driving slowly, so slowly that when a car behind them overtook them, it honked twice.
He didn't care, he just held Su Jingsheng's hand and drove steadily.
"You used to really like racing?" Su Jingsheng asked.
"Yes." Bo Jinghuai nodded, "Starting at sixteen, I secretly played without my grandfather's knowledge."
"Playing secretly?"
"Because the old man disagreed, he felt it was dangerous."
Su Jingsheng blinked. "Have you ever won?"
Bo Jinghuai turned his head to look at her, his eyes filled with a hint of smugness. "I've never lost a game I've participated in."
Su Jingsheng laughed, "You're bragging."
"Don't believe me?" Bo Jinghuai raised an eyebrow. "I'll show you what real technology is later."
He released her hand, shifted gears, and gently pressed the accelerator.
The car sped off, instantly accelerating.
Su Jingsheng exclaimed in surprise and grabbed the handrail again.
Bo Jinghuai did not accelerate further, but maintained this speed and steadily rounded the bend.
The car tilted, and the tires made a slight squeak as they gripped the ground.
Su Jingsheng leaned her body towards him, resting her shoulder on his arm.
Bo Jinghuai looked down at her as she leaned closer, and the corners of his lips curved into a smile.
Are you still afraid?
Su Jingsheng shook her head, then nodded, "A little bit."
The car slowed down again.
The winding mountain road came to an end, and a breathtaking view suddenly opened up before us.
From the mountaintop viewing platform, the entire city's night view unfolds beneath your feet.
Thousands of lights illuminate the city, and distant landmarks glow like a galaxy fallen to earth.
Bo Jinghuai parked the car in the corner and turned off the engine.
It was very quiet all around, with only the rustling of the night wind through the treetops.
Su Jingsheng leaned against the car window and looked out, "So beautiful."
Bo Jinghuai didn't look out the window; he just stared at her.
She leaned against the car window, her profile softly outlined by the city lights, her eyelashes curled and her lips slightly pouting.
He reached out and pulled her back.
"Mmm—" Su Jingsheng was pulled into his arms and sat on his lap.
The space in a supercar is already cramped, so she sat down and curled up in his arms, her back against the steering wheel.
Bo Jinghuai adjusted his seat back, barely making some room for her.
Su Jingsheng wrapped her arms around his neck, her two slender white legs dangling, and one of her sandals had fallen off at some point.
"What are you doing?" she asked softly.
Bo Jinghuai didn't speak, he just stared at her.
The car was dark, with only the city lights outside the window filtering in, casting flickering shadows on his face.
He raised his hand and rubbed his thumb against her cheek.
"I used to love driving up the mountain alone at night."
"Drive to the top of the mountain, turn off the engine, and sit here to enjoy the night view."
Su Jingsheng looked at him. "Alone?"
"Yes." Bo Jinghuai nodded. "Sometimes Qin Lie comes along, but I don't let him get in the car."
"I just sat in the car, looking at the lights outside, and felt empty inside."
"Zhi Qiu is dead, and the friends around me aren't true friends anymore. I don't know what to do."
"In fact, Zhi Qiu died indirectly at my hands, which makes me very sad."
Su Jingsheng didn't say anything, but reached out and touched his face with heartache.
