Bai Yishu never imagined that one day she would reach some kind of agreement with Fu Xiu.

A few days later, she received a text message from Fu Xiu on her phone.

"There's an important banquet tonight, and I need a female companion."

The message was brief and direct. Bai Yishu was still considering whether to reply when a second message popped up.

Fu Xiu led Bai Yishu into the banquet hall, instantly becoming the focus of everyone's attention.

Fu Xiu led Bai Yishu to a corner of the banquet hall, away from He Yunshen's sight, and then leaned down to whisper in her ear.

"Well done, Yi Shu."

He smirked and gently pulled her closer with his arm.

"You're standing so close to me, I'm starting to think you're taking this too seriously."

Bai Yishu glanced at him and whispered, "What if I wasn't acting?"

Fu Xiu paused, his smile deepening.

"That's alright."

He smiled as he looked at Bai Yishu, his fingertips gently stroking her exposed arm.

"We have plenty of time to act out this scene."

He caught a glimpse of He Yun Shen's gaze and suddenly pulled Bai Yi Shu into his arms, making a move to kiss her, but she stopped him before their lips touched.

"Is Mr. Fu in such a hurry?"

Bai Yishu pressed down on his shoulder.

"Isn't it better to do some things at home?"

Fu Xiu's Adam's apple bobbed, and his eyes became even more intense. He suppressed his impulse and chuckled softly in Bai Yishu's ear.

"You're right, let's continue when we get home."

He Yun Shen watched Bai Yi Shu and Fu Xiu's intimate interaction from afar, and finally couldn't hold back any longer, so he walked over to them.

Fu Xiu saw He Yun Shen walking towards them with a wine glass in his hand, and a smile appeared on his lips.

He suddenly leaned close to Bai Yishu and placed a light kiss on her cheek, the sound not loud but just loud enough for He Yunshen, who was approaching, to hear.

"Honey, excuse me for a moment. I'm going to say hello to our business partner over there. I'll be right back."

Bai Yishu was startled by his sudden action, but quickly regained her composure when she saw He Yunshen walking towards her.

Fu Xiu glanced at Bai Yishu with satisfaction, then turned and left, deliberately stopping a short distance away to chat with others, but his gaze kept falling on her and He Yun Shen.

As soon as He Yunshen saw Fu Xiu walk away, he immediately stepped in front of Bai Yishu, and the pressure around him suddenly dropped.
