As it was nearing the end of the workday, Bai Yishu sat at her desk watching the sunset on the horizon when she heard a soft tapping sound on the desk behind her.

"Is all the work finished?"

He Yun Shen stood in front of the table, holding his coat in his hand.

"Let's go, I'll take you home. There's something I want to tell you on the way."

Bai Yishu picked up her things and walked towards the elevator with him, one after the other. The two deliberately kept their distance along the way until they reached the car, at which point He Yunshen moved a little closer to her.

"Get in the car."

As the vehicle drove out of the parking lot and merged into the traffic, Bai Yishu, seeing that He Yunshen didn't seem inclined to speak, took the initiative to ask, "What are you talking about?"

He Yun Shen glanced at her, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Don't worry, I'll tell you later."

The car fell silent, with only the intermittent sound of music from the radio.

A short while later, the car stopped by the river. Outside the window, the orange-red sunset and the sound of the river water lapping against the embankment filled the air.

He Yun Shen turned off the car, got out, walked to the shore, and placed his hands on the railing in front of him.

As night falls, golden lights float on the river.

Bai Yishu looked up at him, the streetlight casting a soft shadow on his silhouette.

"I'm afraid people will say that you used your position to get your girlfriend into the company."

Bai Yishu rubbed her hands together nervously as she spoke.

He Yun Shen was somewhat surprised by her concerns, a warm feeling welled up in his heart, and he smiled helplessly.

After discussing their public relationship with He Yunshen, Bai Yishu did give it serious thought.
