Milia stood to the side, taking in the whole scene. She recognized the man in front of her as Jeff Bergenson, the British Deputy Consul General in Florence, whom she had met at a cocktail party.

Milia didn't recognize the woman beside him, but she'd seen that kind of imperious tone all the time in Paris.

"Moni," Milia said, her voice soft enough for Jeff and his wife to hear, "I've already paid a deposit for this evening gown. If this lady really wants it, I can let her have it for now."

The woman turned her head, sized Milia up and down, her gaze shifting from Milia's impeccably tailored suit to the understated Patek Philippe on her wrist. Her expression changed from arrogant to scrutinizing. "Do we know each other?"

"We might know each other, or we might not, but after today, we will," Milia said, taking a gold-embossed business card from her bag and handing it over with her slender fingers. "I'm Milia Hoffman, a guest commentator for *Fashion Frontier* magazine!"

The woman took the business card, glanced at it, and then her expression changed from scrutiny to politeness. She removed her leather gloves, grasped Milia's outstretched hand, and said, "Isa Bervinson!"

Isa was naturally familiar with fashion magazines like "Fashion Frontier." As someone who frequented the European socialite circle, she needed to stay informed about the latest fashion trends in order to attend various banquets without being ridiculed by the other ladies.

Otherwise, if you attend an event wearing an obviously outdated style without realizing it, you'll become the laughing stock of the social circle the next day.

Zhang Yi simply stood quietly to the side, watching the two clash without saying a word. Milia turned to look at Zhang Yi, feeling that this Chinese woman possessed something familiar to her—not arrogance, but confidence.

That kind of confidence that says, "My stuff is worth the price, take it or leave it."

"Mrs. Bergenson, you can have this evening gown now, but I have a condition," Milia said, changing the subject. "I'm going to wear this gown to the opening ceremony of next year's Paris Fashion Week. If you're willing to wait until then, I can give it to you."

Isa's expression was priceless. She wanted to lash out, but knew she couldn't in this situation. Jeff Bergenson coughed and said in his Oxford-accented English, "Ms. Milia, my wife just loves this dress. Since you've already reserved it, we certainly won't take it from you."

He turned to Zhang Yi and asked, "Excuse me, if I place an order now, will I really receive it in two weeks?"

Jeff Bergenson knows his wife too well, and he also knows the atmosphere in that so-called social circle of VIPs. Isa just wanted to start a trend by wearing this never-before-seen evening gown at Fashion Week, and she would be laughed at for it.

Zhang Yi nodded, "Okay, but I need to explain in advance that Ms. Cao is quite old and can only embroider for two hours a day. Half a month is the fastest she can do it. Also, each handmade item is unique, so there will be slight discrepancies with the exhibits!"

"Different is better! I want to be unique!"

Milia turned to Zhang Yi and said, "Moni, reserve that set for me too. I'll be shooting it as a series. Could Angel Company grant me the rights?"

"Of course," Zhang Yi couldn't be happier if more fashion magazine commentators like Milia came over to give their Angels' clothing and bags word-of-mouth promotion, so why would she refuse?

"The runway show is about to begin, and the girls are all getting ready backstage. Milia, Isa, Mr. Jeff, would you like to join me in watching?" Zhang Yi smiled and gestured to the brightly lit stage.

"certainly!"

The group followed Zhang Yi to where Zeng Xia and Xiao Chenhui were, and sat down. When Milia saw the two little ones wearing little trench coats and with their hair styled like adults, she couldn't help but laugh and ask, "Are these your children, Moni?"

"No, I'm Aunt's nephew. Hello, my name is Jean-Jacques," little Jean-Jacques said in broken Italian, but his name was a standard French one. Milia couldn't help but laugh and cry. "You're so cute, little Jean-Jacques!"

Little Chen Hui whispered a reminder from the side, "Little brother, it's time to reach out."

"Oh, oh, oh," Xiao Rongguo immediately reached out his hand to shake hands with Milia. Milia hadn't reacted yet. After a moment of surprise, she giggled and reached out to shake Xiao Rongguo's chubby little hand.

Xiao Rongguo lowered his head and kissed her, making Milia giggle even louder. Xiao Chenhui, standing nearby, immediately corrected him, "Hey, no, little brother, you're so silly! One kiss is enough! Are you trying to bite her hand like a chicken claw?!"

Xiao Chenhui spoke entirely in Mandarin, which Milia and Isa couldn't understand, but Zeng Xia and Zhang Yi were trying so hard not to laugh. These two clowns, how old are you to be imitating people's hand-kissing etiquette?

After laughing, Milia lowered her head, hugged Xiao Rongguo's head, and gently kissed his forehead. "You're so cute, Xiao Rongguo!"

"Hello, my name is Jimmy, I am my mommy's son, no, no, this is my mommy," Little Chen Hui realized he had misspoke and quickly corrected himself. He felt that he had been infected by his silly younger brother.

Milia glanced at Zhang Yi, and after receiving Zhang Yi's permission, she hugged Chen Hui's head and kissed his forehead. "Hello Jimmy, you're cute too!"

Unlike Milia's enthusiasm, Isa and Jeff were much more reserved. They simply nodded to Zeng Xia and the two lively characters to introduce themselves, and after everyone was seated, they began to chat amongst themselves.

When Jeff learned that Zhang Yi and her husband Chen Dong were actually holders of Huasheng Fund, he raised an eyebrow and revealed a meaningful expression. Isa, who was good at reading people, immediately realized from her husband's expression that the woman named Moni in front of her was no ordinary person.

Milia, on the other hand, didn't seem to have much of an impact. She wasn't in the financial industry and didn't know how terrifying a fund with billions of dollars in liquid assets was. She was still chatting and laughing with Xiao Rongguo and Xiao Chenhui.

Perhaps it's because Rongguo is so adorable to women, but every woman who sees his cute little face wants to tease him. Rongguo can easily pull out snacks from his pocket and feed them to the people he plays with.

Elena came over after finishing her work backstage, and Xiao Rongguo immediately waved and shouted, "Mommy Elena, we're here!"

As Elena approached, Milia stood up. "Ms. Ross, I'm Milia Hoffman, a guest commentator for *Fashion Frontier*!"

"Hello, nice to meet you," Elena said politely, shaking hands before sitting down next to Xiao Rongguo and Xiao Chenhui.

Little Rongguo grinned and looked at Milia, "Mom Elena is my godmother, hee hee!"
