Flower Fairy: After transmigrating again, I became An'an's younger brother.
Chapter 4 Chun and the Shadow Chun
Kukuru wanted to ask more questions, but Xia Tong interrupted her, "Let's continue talking about the name."
As soon as he finished speaking, all four of them turned their gazes to Shadow Chun.
Since she appeared, she has been staring at her hands with her head down, as if confirming the existence of this body, without moving.
"She looks exactly like Chun!" Xia An'an couldn't help but exclaim softly.
"It would be strange if the shadow didn't look like the original body, wouldn't it?" Xia Tong explained casually.
Kukuru, standing nearby, was not idle. He muttered to himself, "Evil, it must be evil," while staring intently at Xia Tong and Shadow Chun, as if he were watching some dangerous enemy.
Even Chun herself drifted closer out of curiosity, her eyes full of inquiry.
Just then, Shadow Chun suddenly raised her head—her gray-amber eyes locked onto Xia Tong precisely, without the slightest deviation.
"Forehead……"
Xia Tong paused for a moment, then spoke first, "What's your name?"
"Tsubaki..."
Shadow Chun flew to Xia Tong's front, stared into his eyes, and said, word by word, "I am... Camellia Fairy King Chun."
The room fell silent for a moment after the sound ended.
"See, it's very simple."
Xia Tong broke the silence, shrugging at Kukuru, "She said it herself."
"What kind of method is this?!"
Kukuru realized what was happening and protested, waving his little fists. "This is cheating! Subduing the Flower Fairy King requires sincerity, courage, and wisdom! Not this... this weird magic!"
"Anyway, the result is that we know the name," Xia Tong said nonchalantly. "The process is not important."
"This is different!"
Kukuru spun around in anger. "And look at her!" he pointed at Shadow Chun. "She's shrouded in darkness! How can that be considered true subjugation?!"
"Knowing the name is enough ૮₍ •́ ₃•̀₎ა"
Xia Tong shrugged, then changed the subject, "Besides, it's not me who's being subdued. I'm just helping to 'ask' for the name. The real contract will have to rely on my older sister and this... well, the idiot prince."
He deliberately emphasized the last few words and gave Kukuru a provocative glance.
"Commoner! Who are you calling an idiot!"
Kukuru immediately bristled and was about to rush over, but Xia An'an grabbed him.
On the other side, Chun flew closer and looked thoughtfully at Shadow Chun. When she reached out to touch Shadow Chun, Shadow Chun, which had been just floating blankly, slapped her hand away.
"Don't touch me!"
Shadow Chun parted her lips slightly, her voice carrying a tone similar to Chun's but even colder.
Chun was slapped and took two steps back. She subconsciously floated to Xia An'an's side, her eyes showing a hint of wariness.
"They finally gave themselves away!"
Kukuru immediately seized the opportunity, pointing at Xia Tong and shouting, "You're a lackey of the evil forces!"
Xia An'an grabbed Kukuru and held him close to her chest, then asked Xia Tong, "Xiao Tong, what's going on?"
"That's more like it, isn't it?"
Xia Tong crossed her arms and said in a matter-of-fact tone, "She is, after all, the dark side of Chun, so her personality is almost the opposite of the original."
Chun, whose hand was slapped away, wasn't angry; instead, she looked thoughtful.
She tried to make eye contact with Shadow Chun, but found that the other party was full of hostility.
"Does the dark side give you the right to beat people up at will?!"
Kukuru struggled in Xia An'an's arms, shouting, "And look at her eyes! So fierce! She's definitely evil!"
Upon hearing this, Shadow Chun coldly swept her gray-amber eyes towards Kukuru.
Even though he didn't say a word, an invisible pressure spread out, and Kukuru immediately shut his mouth, subconsciously shrinking into Xia An'an's arms, even his wings drooping down.
After that, Shadow Chun did not make any further moves, but simply floated quietly beside Xia Tong.
"Commoner, hurry up and send her back!"
Kukuru was still unconvinced, but her voice was much softer. "An uncontrollable dark side—who knows what she'll do in the future!"
"Go back? I don't want to go back!" Shadow Chun stretched out her hand towards Kukuru, gathering her strength in preparation for an attack.
The place where she used to be was pitch black, and nothing existed except for boundless nothingness.
Why would she go back? She absolutely wouldn't allow that to happen. She had finally gained her freedom; how could she possibly go back?
Kukuru was so frightened by her actions that he trembled and couldn't even speak; Chun, who was next to Xia An'an, also tensed up immediately and prepared for battle; Xia An'an was so frightened by this scene that she didn't know what to do.
"Uh, everyone calm down first."
Xia Tong quickly reached out and gently pulled down Yingzi Chun's wrist. Surprisingly, Yingzi Chun didn't resist; she simply obediently lowered her hand and continued to stay by his side.
Seeing this double standard, Kukuru became even angrier: "Why is she so nice to you? And you say it's not your fault!"
Upon hearing this, Shadow Chun turned and glanced at Kukuru—that one glance was enough to scare Kukuru into shutting up and shrinking his head into Xia An'an's arms.
"I don't know either?"
Faced with Kukuru's questioning, Xia Tong scratched the back of her head, looking completely bewildered.
He looked at Shadow Chun again and asked her, "How much do you remember? Do you know who we are?"
"I know."
Shadow Chun's voice remained calm and even. She turned to look at Xia An'an and the other two, "Flower Fairy Magic Messenger, Xia An'an; the truant prince of the Ancient Fairy Clan, Kukuru; and, another me, Chun."
Finally, her gaze fell back on Xia Tong, and her tone became somewhat uncertain: "You are...Xiao Tong?"
"Hmm? It seems I haven't mentioned my name to Chun, but my older sister always calls me that. My name is Xia Tong."
Xia Tong tilted her head slightly and rubbed her left temple with her left index finger. "So what should we do now?"
"...Why did you want to attack them?" Xia Tong thought for a moment and continued to ask.
"They have an aura that I hate, and as for that other thing, I don't like it." Shadow Tsubaki pointed at Kukuru.
"Okay..." Xia Tong turned to look at Xia An'an and Kukuru.
"You're not planning to send her back?"
Kukuru poked his head out, but before he could finish speaking, he met Shadow Chun's gaze and quickly shrank back, only daring to let out a soft "ee".
"She doesn't want to go back, and I can't force her to," Xia Tong shrugged. Mainly, she didn't want to fight; it was too much trouble. "Besides, at least for now, she's not thinking of causing trouble."
"Besides, she is a part of Tsubaki. As long as Tsubaki is there, she will be there too."
Xia Tong's patience ran out. "As for control? I suggest you try 'understanding' and 'communication' instead of always thinking about 'control'."
Then Xia Tong looked at Yingzi Chun and sized her up.
"Although things have changed, she probably can't stay for long... Oh, and I haven't finished my homework yet, so I'm going back now."
After saying that, he turned and headed for the door.
"Wait, take her away!" Kukuru said as he flew up after breaking free from Xia An'an's grasp.
"I don't want to be with them either." Shadow Chun immediately followed Xia Tong, staying close to him.
"Oh? Okay then."
After that, Xia Tong didn't say anything more. She took Yingzi Chun and walked straight out of Xia An'an's room, leaving the three people in the room looking at each other in bewilderment.
"Then... what do we do now?" Xia An'an grabbed Kukuru and shook him gently.
"Commoner...stop shaking me...you're making me dizzy..." Kukuru struggled to break free from her hand and rubbed his head.
Chun flew up to Xia An'an and said seriously, "I think Xiao Tong is right. Maybe we should have a good talk with the other me."
"But Tsubaki, does she seem like someone you can communicate with properly?"
Kukuru, hands on her hips, said angrily, "She wanted to kill me!"
"...Wasn't it you who went too far with your words?" Xia An'an rolled her eyes speechlessly.
"This silly prince really needs to learn how to get along with others properly," Chun chimed in.
"Which side are you on? ...Whose side are you on?"
Kukuru flew to Xia An'an's head and gently poked her hair. After Xia An'an slapped the hair away, Kukuru snorted, "Fine, this prince won't hold it against you. Let's go out now."
"Where to?" Xia An'an tilted her head, her eyes full of doubt.
Chun pointed to the ornament on Xia An'an's wrist, which had been transformed from the Flower Fairy Magician's Staff, and explained, "Go check where Kukuru crawled out; maybe you can find a way to transform."
As soon as she finished speaking, Chun transformed into a beam of light and returned to Xia An'an's pendant.
Kukuru flapped its wings and led the way towards Andromeda Park, and Xia An'an quickly followed.
