Chapter 29 Unlocking the Repression Ring

Atar had his eyes closed, unaware of what Jun Ming was doing.

However, based on Jun Ming's actions of leaving and then returning, it can be roughly guessed that Jun Ming went to find the box.

After scattering the contents of the box all over the ground, Jun Ming picked them up one by one, examined them carefully, and then arranged them in order.

Atar waited anxiously with his eyes closed.

With each peep I heard, my unease grew.

After careful selection, Jun Ming discerned some clues. These items were all of the moderate type, neither too heavy to cause injury nor too light to leave no trace.

"Open your eyes."

Jun Ming held one of the rulers in his hand, patted it in his palm, and said to Atar.

"Do you like this?"

Atal nervously gripped the hands behind his back.

"If the powerful ruler likes it, then I like it too."

He spoke without any conviction; anyone with eyes could tell he was lying.

Jun Ming swung the ruler at Atal, finally stopping just in front of him.

When Atar saw the ruler hurtling towards his cheek, he finally closed his eyes in fear, but still dared not dodge.

Strangely, Atal did not feel pain, but rather felt the ruler stop in front of him, bringing only a gust of wind.

"If you like it, why don't you dare open your eyes and look?"

"Tell the truth."

"I'm asking if you like it or not."

Jun Ming put the ruler away and held it up to his eyes to examine it.

Atal slowly opened his eyes, staring at the ruler with lingering fear.

"My lord... I... I don't like it."

Atal mustered his courage and spoke his mind.

Jun Ming nodded in satisfaction, reached out and ruffled Atal's hair.

"very good."

He placed the items in front of him and Atal.

"If you don't like it, then we won't get it."

Without hesitation, Jun Ming controlled his mental power, exerted force from multiple points, and tore it to shreds before casually tossing it on the ground.

Then he picked up something else and placed it in front of Atar.

"Or... do you like this?"

It looks just like an old-fashioned clamp used by an experienced carpenter, once it's clamped, there's no room for loosening.

"I...I don't like it either."

Jun Ming didn't say anything, and continued to control his mental power in the same way, tearing it to shreds again.

Then pile it up with the previous one.

"Then Atal, tell me, which of these things do you like?"

Atar glanced at the pile of things on the ground, then at the pile of things that had been torn up and carelessly thrown on the ground, making it impossible to identify what they were.

He hardened his heart and said:

"I don't like any of them."

After saying that, Atar felt a little scared.

Jun Ming didn't say anything, but raised his hand and lifted the blanket, covering Atar under it.

"Dundun."

Jun Ming called out towards the door.

Upon hearing this, Dun Dun hurriedly went to the door.

"What are your orders, Master?"

Jun Ming pointed to the pile of things on the ground.

"Throw them all out, and never let me see them again."

"Okay."

Dundun quickly tidied up the things, including the box, and threw them out.

Seeing Dundun leave and close the door, Junming then lifted the blanket, revealing a somewhat bewildered Atar.

Atar remained kneeling, his back straight.

Jun Ming pointed to the cleaned-up ground before speaking to Atal:

"Atar, I will never force you to do anything you don't like. You don't have to do things you can't accept just to please me."

Jun Ming sat down on the edge of the bed, pulled Atar's clasped hands from behind him, and held them in his own palms.

"I hope you understand that I will respect you."

Atal's eyelashes fluttered as he stared at Jun Ming in disbelief, but he couldn't utter a word.

"Don't kneel. The bed may be soft, but it's not good for your knees."

Jun Ming pulled Atal to sit with him on the edge of the bed, then reached out and rubbed Atal's knees, which were red from the friction.

"Does the male ruler dislike having anything to assist him in bed?"

After much thought, this was the only reason Atar could come up with.

"I don't really have a like or dislike for it. If something that helps you feel comfortable, then I can give it a try."

"But I can't do it if it means exchanging your pain for my pleasure."

Jun Ming's straightforward answer left Atar no chance to misunderstand or misinterpret the situation.

Jun Ming got out of bed, stood opposite Atal, raised his hand and gently pinched Atal's neck, using some force to make Atal tilt his head back.

Then, the index finger traced down the neck, across the Adam's apple, and landed on the inhibition ring.

I rummaged around for a bit.

Atal thought that Junming should adjust the value of the suppression ring, or use some current or something.

But Jun Ming did not.

Junming found the spot where the fingerprint unlocking ring was suppressed and attached his index finger.

"Highest authority".

The detection of the male insect's fingerprints suppressed the ring mechanism's sound production.

With a "beep beep beep" sound, the suppression ring fell off.

Neither Junming nor Atar paid any attention to the suppression ring that had fallen to the ground.

Atal felt the feeling of being confined around his neck disappear, his suppressed mental energy was released, and his body's powerful self-healing ability returned.

The slightly reddened knees have regained their former smoothness.

"A mighty ruler..."

Atal was stunned.

He considered many possibilities, and the best one he thought of was that Jun Ming would lower the level of mental suppression for him.

Atar never imagined that Jun Ming would directly remove the suppression ring, nor did he dare to.

Jun Ming looked at Atal and said softly, "I know you don't like being bound by these things. So, I won't wear them."

Atal's eyes welled up with tears as he raised his hand to touch his bare neck.

"Isn't the powerful master afraid that I might lose control or my strength and hurt you?"

Jun Ming sighed and pulled Atar into his arms.

Although he knew that such actions were still too intimate for Atal at the moment, Junming couldn't help but feel heartache.

This proud, noble, and incredibly powerful female soldier should have been soaring freely on the battlefield, but now she is adorned with a somewhat humiliating restraint ring, branded with the label of being the male's private property.

They are also bound by huge rules, forced to be "understanding" female servants, and even have to do things that they cannot accept or have never even thought of.

"If I get hurt by you, then it has nothing to do with you; it's my own fault for being incompetent."

"Believe me, I can fix your mental breakdown and make you live in constant fear again."

"I'm not one of those useless male insects on the main planet, nor am I as fragile as you think."

"Atal..."

Jun Ming released his arms from Atal, placed his hands on Atal's cheeks, and lifted them slightly so that Atal could look directly at him.

"You can try relying on me for a while."

Atar's red eyes were glistening with tears, and the corners of his eyes were tinged with a crimson hue, unlike his usual cool and aloof demeanor.

Atal opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he didn't say anything.

"Also... when I said I would try to soothe you with mental energy, I meant only using mental energy, not that I wanted you to do any of those things."

"I hope that when Atal comes here again for this purpose, it will be voluntary and spontaneous."

"I can wait."
