HP: Wormwood and Lightning Wood
Chapter 108 Love After Dusk
Narcissa pulled Draco to her side and asked in a low voice, "Didn't your mother tell you not to come home during this time?"
Draco blinked, still looking a little scared. "Mom, I was worried about you and Father."
This brings us back to last night.
Harry couldn't sleep at all. Ron lay beside him, sprawled out in his sleep, even snoring.
Harry struggled for a moment, trying to use a silent spell to break free of the restraints.
As he strained, a corner of the curtain was lifted, and a cry rang out, "Harry, Harry!"
Harry stopped moving, his brow furrowed, and his emerald green eyes gleamed. He asked softly, "Draco?"
Draco lifted the hood of his Invisibility Cloak, revealing his eyes. He raised his wand and silently released Harry from the binding spell.
Harry slid past Ron and off the bed.
"I'm sorry, Ron," Harry muttered to himself. He couldn't imagine how much Hermione's wrath Ron would have to bear tomorrow.
Hermione's spatial confinement spell kept Harry and Ron away, but she didn't expect that Draco was hiding in the dormitory.
Draco's skill with spells was no less than Hermione's. He cast a silent spell, recited a few words, and with a "click," the door opened. Draco pulled Harry into the Invisibility Cloak and entered the Gryffindor common room.
"When did you get here?" Harry pulled Draco along and couldn't resist kissing him on the cheek.
Draco: "Before you come in."
"Thank you so much, Draco, you've helped me a lot!" Harry said quickly. "Now, can you go back to your dorm?"
Draco's shoe slid over Harry's instep, his expression unfriendly: "You're going to leave me alone at my house?"
Harry cried out in pain, "Ouch—I'm worried about West..."
"Do you think I'd just let you go alone?" Draco asked sternly. "Besides, my parents are still at home."
"Either we go together, or neither of us goes," Draco said with a smug smile, raising his hand—he was holding Harry's wand, which he then tucked into his sleeve.
Harry stared at Draco, making him feel uneasy. Draco, though blustering, retorted, "Do you have a problem with that?"
Harry grabbed Draco by the back of the head, pulled him close, and planted a hard kiss on his pale pink lips, saying through gritted teeth, "No!"
And so, the two secretly went to Snape's cellar and, through the fireplace, arrived at Malfoy Manor.
Harry was thankful that Draco had come with him—Malfoy Manor was just too big, and by the time he found West alone, everything might already be over.
Lucius: ...
He completely forgot to turn off the Floo Network!
Draco was still holding Harry's hand with his other hand when Lucius walked over with a gloomy face, seemingly casually separating the two.
He couldn't very well question Harry Potter in front of West, so he could only snort coldly. But when he turned around, West and his friend Severus had already disappeared.
"...And them?" Lucius asked.
Harry stammered, "They just teleported away..."
"...Then...what should we do?" Lucius glanced at the corpse in the corner.
All three of them turned their gaze to Harry.
Harry: "...Buried? Buried?"
Narcissa sighed, "Then let's find a place to bury her."
Finally, Voldemort's body was taken away by three house-elves. They would bury Voldemort in Riddle's graveyard.
After a lifetime of pursuing immortality and power, he was ultimately forced to be buried alongside his Muggle father, whom he hated and rejected the most.
"So, what should we talk about next?" Lucius squinted, slamming his snake-headed cane heavily on the ground. "How about we talk about the two of you?"
Meanwhile, West and Snape have returned to Somerset Manor.
Snape was caught off guard and led back to his room by West.
West wrapped his arms around Snape's slender waist from behind, resting his head on Snape's shoulder.
"What are you doing? Let me go!" Snape was a little nervous. Had the room temperature risen? Otherwise, why did he feel a little thirsty?
Snape ruffled West's curly hair. "Get up."
West hummed softly, "I'm so sleepy...you'll sleep with me, Severus."
Hearing the deep drowsiness in West's voice, Snape hesitated for a moment.
West hadn't slept all night.
West pulled Snape down onto the bed, and soon, long, even breaths filled the air.
Snape was held in West's arms. The young man's warm breath tickled his neck.
He struggled a few times, but was held even tighter.
"Severus...don't go..." West whispered groggily, before falling back into a deep sleep.
Snape sighed, relaxed, and lay peacefully in West's arms.
So be it.
Snape was invigorated. Killing Voldemort was unbelievable to him. It had been his wish for many years, and now it had been achieved so easily.
After that night, he was prepared to give even more for the war—his soul, his life.
Snape's mind was a mess. Surrounded by familiar scents, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up again, it was already dark outside the window.
A warm kiss landed on his brow.
Snape blinked, snapping back to reality. He found himself resting his head on West's arm.
Snape was about to sit up when West chuckled, put his arm around Snape's waist, and gave him a close hug.
Snape awkwardly touched West's hair, somewhat worried. "Haven't you had enough sleep?"
"No." West looked up, his deep green eyes shining brightly. "I really love you, Severus."
Snape couldn't help but recall that day four years ago. West was just a small, thin boy, obediently following behind him, looking up at him with a nervousness and fear in his eyes that he himself was unaware of.
The young man's appearance gradually overlapped with the child's innocent face from many years ago.
Snape sighed, cupped West's face in his hands, and planted a kiss on his lips. "I love you too."
West was startled, his eyes widening suddenly.
He remained silent, rolled around on the bed with Severus in his arms a few times, messing up his hair, before finally chuckling.
Infected by West's joy, Severus couldn't help but smile.
"Severus, Severus, Severus..." West pressed himself against Severus's warm body, repeating his lover's name over and over again.
Then, his kisses came one after another, solemnly moving from Severus's smiling eyebrows and forehead to his nose, cheeks and lips.
Severus was breathing heavily.
He wished time could stand still at this moment.
"Let's get married, Siever."
But time doesn't stop, and they have a brighter future ahead of them.
