Why did you provoke me?

Chapter 476 Collective Planting Lines

Let's talk about the leaders of the twelve factions who entered the Alien battlefield.

Secretary Wu sent nine men to the first battlefield as Yu Meng had requested. The remaining three were sent to the fourth battlefield.

Jingyi received the news and waited at the entrance early. Secretary Wu had told him that these people were crucial to how much money the club could make in the future, and that he should treat them well.

Jingyi is an honest person, so she asked what constitutes good hospitality, whether it's in terms of food and drink or attitude.

Secretary Wu stated directly that we didn't need to worry about any of that. He just wanted to teach them some of our skills to make them think we were very capable. He specifically mentioned that we absolutely had to teach them methods to confuse people. However, he also cautioned against teaching them the essential techniques, to avoid any potential backlash later.

Tell me, isn't Secretary Wu worried about everything?

Jing Wu followed behind Jing Yi. Although he was now in charge of the First Battlefield, he found that in this sect, it seemed that it wasn't about who had the highest status, but who was the most powerful.

Jingyi came to pick them up, so he came along. Secretary Wu also sent him a message, saying that these people's subordinates would be working for him from now on, so it was important to build good relationships with them beforehand.

Jingwu was very curious. "Brother, what are their identities? They're not from any sect, are they?"

"Yes, Uncle Wu said they're not from the sect, but they're Teacher Yu's people."

"Should we treat her specially?" Jingwu joined the sect relatively late and was directly sent to the first battlefield, so she didn't know much about the sect's affairs.

"Fifth Brother, you must remember this: we are Teacher Yu's direct subordinates. These people are merely dependent on Teacher Yu; they are not the same as us. No matter their status, we must not feel inferior to them."

"I understand," Jingwu said obediently.

The twelve halls of the Yama Palace are theoretically equal in status.

However, people's abilities always differ greatly, so there are also unspoken rules among them.

For example, when it comes to picking fights, it's always the big guy who gets involved.

But now that they've entered the first battlefield and are dealing with the people inside, the big guy has stepped back, replaced by a smiling, well-off middle-aged man.

"My surname is Li, and I'm a few years older than you. You can just call me Old Li or Brother Li, it's fine." As soon as they met, Old Li warmly stepped forward to introduce himself.

Then he went on to introduce the remaining eight people.

Jingyi didn't interrupt, waiting for him to finish before speaking, "I'm Jingyi, and this is Jingwu. I'm responsible for planting the lines for you and leading your training. Jingwu will be in charge of everything else."

Jingyi's words were simple and clear. After speaking, she looked at Jingwu, meaning that she was leaving the rest to him.

Jingwu greeted them with a smile, "You've just arrived, go and rest first, we can talk about it tomorrow."

Old Li stepped forward and exchanged pleasantries, very politely, "We're sorry to trouble you here, brother. To be honest, this is my first time in the Alien Battlefield, and I don't know the rules here. If there are any taboos, just tell us, and we promise to follow them."

We have to be humble; they're here to learn skills. If we offend them because of our attitude and they don't take us seriously, we'll be at a huge loss.

Jingwu smiled and said, "There are no rules. As long as you can guarantee your safety, you can go anywhere without any restrictions."

As Old Li walked, he looked around. "I also do some small business outside, so I know some things. I heard the situation on the second and third battlefields is very bad. You're really something, brother. I see this place is very well organized; it's all thanks to you guys."

Jingwu smiled and said, "Brother Li, you flatter me. It's all thanks to Teacher Yu's foresight in noticing the anomaly early on. I'm just an obedient person. I wouldn't dare to take credit for this."

The group chatted and laughed as they walked, and soon arrived at the makeshift house.

"The conditions here are poor, please bear with us, brothers." Jingwu pushed open the door and let the people into the house.

Once they got here, the big guy couldn't hold back any longer. "Hey, when are we going to get those lines done, Teacher Yu?

Jingyi asked in a deep voice, "Aren't you going to rest for a bit? You've walked such a long way."

The big guy patted his chest. "I'm strong enough, I don't need to rest."

Jingyi then looked at the others, and they all nodded. "We all have our own things to do outside, and time is a bit tight, so we won't take a break."

Jingyi didn't try to persuade her any further. Everyone is shrewd and will weigh the pros and cons.

They went to the side room and retrieved a bunch of small boxes.

"These are all little flower aliens, would you like to choose one?"

Jing placed the nine boxes on the table.

Jingwu lowered her head, inwardly cursing, "Only nine? How am I supposed to choose? This Jingyi is cunning too; she's creating conflict!"

Old Li immediately noticed something was wrong. "Hey buddy," he said, pointing to the box on the table, "is there anything different about it?"

Jing shook her head. "Nothing different?"

Old Li's lips twitched. "There's no difference. You still want us to choose?"

He glanced at his own men and continued, "There's no difference. It's up to you, brother. Whoever you give it to, that's which he'll take."

Jing nodded. "There's one more thing. Are you going together, or alone?"

"Is there any explanation?"

"No," Jingyi replied calmly.

Old Li was exhausted. This guy probably just liked to joke around. He was broad-minded and didn't take it to heart.

Seeing that they had no more questions, Jingyi looked at Jingwu and said, "You can assist them."

Jing understood in five seconds; this was a lesson being taught.

Jingwu took out the aliens and placed them on top of everyone's heads.

When they got to the last, thin, sallow-faced man, he blocked their way, saying with certainty, "You're trying to infect us with aliens."

Jing nodded. "Is this the first step?" Then she asked seriously, "Do you want to plant it?"

The sallow-faced man looked at Jingyi intently. "May I see your physique?"

Jing nodded quietly, revealing her own lines.

A dark dot appeared in front of everyone, then the dot slowly stretched out, eventually becoming a line shape that floated in the air.

Everyone gasped; the lines exuded a restrained aura. But these people were no ordinary individuals; they could sense the intense killing intent emanating from the lines, yet there was no bloodshed.

The sallow-faced man lowered his arm. "You're very strong. I also want to make my physique look like yours."

Jing nodded. "No problem."

The alien was successfully parasitized in the mind.

About an hour later, Jingyi began teaching Jingwu how to retrieve the alien. He didn't do it behind the backs of the nine hall masters. Firstly, it would be troublesome, and secondly, Teacher Yu had said he wasn't afraid they would learn it.

The nine people were well aware that this was a special training program, so they took it very seriously. As for whether they would use it to draw lines for others after learning it, that was up to them.

This process followed Yu Meng's original funny actions, so everyone held back their laughter and put the lines back in their minds.

Jingyi then revealed her purpose. "The lines have been planted; now it's time for training. The degree of training will determine the strength of the lines. Formal training begins tomorrow. I won't go easy on you; after all, if you're too weak in this area, you'll embarrass Teacher Yu."

No one objected, but in the days that followed, they witnessed Jingyi's grueling training regimen, which was practically a complete copy of Jingsan's training methods. According to Jingyi, this was the most efficient and fastest way to improve.
