Why did you provoke me?

Yu Meng saw through Teacher Sun's thoughts, but she didn't try to persuade her. These are things you have to figure out for yourself.

"Yu Meng, what if these people get hurt?" Qing Yuan was still staring at the group of people fighting.

"Aunt Qing, they know what they're doing and won't really hurt anyone. They're just doing this to dissipate the energy in the lines as quickly as possible, making the lines more resilient."

Teacher Sun nodded in agreement, "Your lines are so thin, even Nian Nian can't keep up. We don't need you to help us."

"Sigh, it's just a pity about Huang Yan. If she were here too, that would be great." Aunt Qing muttered as she walked towards the battle.

Teacher Sun chimed in, "Don't blame the child. Ever since she was imprisoned on the battlefield, she's had a hurdle in her heart. She's still young; give her some time, and she'll get through it."

"I was just saying. Look, we're all here, what is she afraid of?" Qingyuan sighed.

The two women, nearing fifty, stared at each other blankly for a second, then burst into laughter simultaneously.

Teacher Sun patted Qingyuan with a smile. "How come we thought of the same thing? I was thinking the same thing. With Yu Meng around, we won't die anyway. At worst, we'll just suffer again."

When their lines entered the fray, the fighting in the air seemed to pause for a moment. Yu Meng heard someone whisper, "Is that one of our club's teachers? They've hit her, but it's really okay."

"I don't know? Let's be careful and go around it."

Everyone had the same thought, which created a strange battleground in the air. The area where Qingyuan and Teacher Sun's lines were located scattered like mice seeing a cat, with no lines left to fight them.

Teacher Sun and Qingyuan exchanged glances, then their hands suddenly quickened their movements. They focused their lines on areas of high density, swatting away every line, regardless of whose it was.

And so, as they fought, it became impossible to tell who was who. In the end, no one knew who had knocked their own lines off.

But they all cleverly withdrew their lines and ran towards the edge of the dense forest. Such a good thing, who knows when it will end? Being able to absorb it one more time is a bonus.

This continued for a long time until news from Secretary Wu broke the tranquility.

"Teacher Yu, things are in chaos outside. The second and third battlefields can no longer hold out. The nation has issued a mobilization order, requiring every faction to send a Bone Painter to provide support, and Jingchuan has also received one."

After calmly reading the message, Yu Meng sent a message to Secretary Wu, "How many people do we need to send?"

Secretary Wu sighed, "I don't know who leaked the information, but we know that the Fourth Battlefield is under Jingchuan's name. They're demanding that we guarantee the aliens in the Fourth Battlefield won't leave the battlefield."

"So you messaged me because something happened to Mr. Feng?" Yu Meng's tone was somewhat uncertain.

"No, I have someone keeping an eye on things. I'll handle anything that happens immediately."

"Thank you, Uncle Wu."

"Hey, don't be so polite with me." With that thank you, Secretary Wu felt that anything she had done was worth it.

"Uncle Wu, there's one more thing. Go to my room; there's a magic bead I left in the drawer. Ask Uncle Nangong if he knows any reliable bone-drawing masters, and give him that one. But be sure to tell him that ordinary people must never look at it, or they'll become addicted and their lives will be in danger."

Secretary Wu paused for a moment. "Only one?"

"Uncle Wu, do you want one too?" Yu Meng asked tentatively.

"No, no. It's just that it's always good to have some on hand." Secretary Wu was a little embarrassed; he actually wanted some too.

Yu Meng looked at the distant sky. They had collected quite a few aliens during this time. Taking these things out would bring in a lot of income.

Yu Meng's thoughts drifted. If someone wanted to sabotage the Fourth Battlefield, could the Second and Third Battlefields also be man-made? What were their goals? Did they want to destroy the entire human world? And what would they gain from that?

I've had many dreams, but none of them have been answered.
