Why did you provoke me?

Chapter 447 The Senior Brother is Here; He'll Take Charge.

Jingwu watched as the three people were talking, and then suddenly they separated and left.

He stood there staring blankly into the darkness, unsure whether to follow or return to the temporary command post.

Forget it, with his current abilities, he'd only be a burden if he went. Third Brother already said he'd teach him.

Teacher Yu just said that the area needs to be cleared. He should go back and deal with the Jia family. After all, if they leave too easily, they might shamelessly try to get it back later.

Jingwu was also clever; he forcefully insisted that the Jia family stay for another day.

"Teacher Yu isn't here, so you can't leave. You have half the control over this battlefield. If you withdraw now, are you going to abandon all of this too?"

"Jingwu, these past two days have been the maximum leeway I've negotiated; there can't be any more."

Jingwu got angry and pushed everything on the table to the ground.

"What about the management rights? If you leave today, I will propose that you transfer the management rights you hold. Then this battlefield will be no longer your concern," Jingwu shouted loudly.

The Jia family sat there quietly, watching Jingwu shout hysterically.

"I'm sorry, this is our clan leader's order. You know I can't disobey it."

"You absolutely have to leave?"

"Yes, we must go. There is no turning back."

Jingwu stopped arguing and sat down. He held his head in his hands and said, "Then go ahead and leave. Don't regret it."

The Jia family left. Jingwu lowered his hand. He'd put on such a show; if the Jia family had any further ideas, wouldn't he have something to say?

When Yu Meng and the other two arrived at the original dense forest ruins, they were all at a loss for words.

Besides Liu Wei's fourth group of members, all of Jing San's team members were also present.

Jing San and Niannian stopped a short distance away. At the edge of the dense forest, everyone was lined up in an orderly fashion, with one person standing about three meters apart.

They had encircled almost half of the dense forest. Lines were flying up and down within the forest.

Jing San was furious. They'd seen all the benefits and forgotten about him, their team leader. Out of fifty team members, not a single one had sent him a message.

The person closest to them was the first to notice someone approaching. Without even turning their head, the line of light quickly retreated from the dense forest and swept directly towards Jing San's direction.

Jing San didn't hold back and directly used her own lines to slap the incoming lines away.

Then he jumped up and cursed, "This is outrageous! How dare they lay a hand on me?"

Upon hearing the voice, the man whirled around. Seeing Jing San's fierce face, he stammered, "Captain, it's you? I'm innocent! I didn't know it was you!"

Jing San's face was gloomy. "If you can be here, why can't I?"

"No, that's not what I meant." The man hurriedly waved his hand.

"Get out of my way, I want this place."

"Captain, you can't be so domineering. These have all been distributed."

Jing San raised her foot and kicked him, "Are you leaving or not? If you don't, I'll cripple you."

Niannian covered her mouth and chuckled, "Third Brother, with your attitude, it's no wonder they're all thinking of taking your power."

"Hmph, they're just dreaming. If they think they can turn the world upside down in my hands, they'll have to learn a thing or two."

Jing San then looked at the person next to her, "I want your seat too."

Niannian hurriedly waved her hand, "Third Brother, I won't fight with them, I want to go over there."

Jing San choked for a moment. Who was he doing all this for?

The two team members had their heads down and their shoulders were shrugging; they were clearly chuckling to themselves.

Jing San snorted, "You got off easy." Then she walked towards Niannian, "I'll go with you."

The two teammates behind her thanked Nian Nian in unison, "Thank you, Teacher Nian Nian."

Niannian laughed heartily, "Third Brother, your teammate is thanking me."

"A bunch of traitors, wait till we get back, and I'll show you what I'm made of," Jing San warned his team members menacingly.

"Um, Captain, it was Captain Four who brought us here. It's not that we wanted to hide it from you. We were just too busy after we arrived and forgot to inform you. Please be magnanimous and don't hold it against us lowly minions."

"Hmph, it depends on my mood."

Yu Meng did not meet with the people from these sects. She bypassed them, turned to the opposite side, and rose into the night sky.

Looking down from above, the densely packed aliens resembled a high wall, moving at a slow pace.

Yu Meng's right eye involuntarily began to move. These aliens stopped rising after reaching a certain height, as if something was suppressing them.

Yu Meng slowly flew towards the center of the dense forest.

She saw it; there was a small vortex, and different aliens were being squeezed out by some force, forming clumps like balls.

They huddled together tightly, then scattered in all directions the instant they were squeezed out, and floated there. As more aliens emerged, they were pushed outwards by the newly appearing aliens. This is why the aliens move outwards.

Yu Meng stood in the air, thought for a moment, then wrapped her lines into a spear and threw it into the vortex.

The introduction of lines seems to have disrupted the original order.

The squeezed-out alien was pressed down. The spear-like lines didn't completely disappear into the vortex; they seemed to be stuck.

A long time passed, and the alien never reappeared.

The slowly expanding alien wall also stopped in its tracks.

Yu Meng urged the lines to begin absorbing energy.

The little black cat had somehow gotten onto Yu Meng's shoulder.

Yu Meng patted its head. "Are you interested? Do you want to go down and take a look?"

The little black cat's tail hung down on Meng's back, swaying back and forth.

Yu Meng also saw Niannian and Jing San. Niannian cleverly wove her lines into a fine net, trapping the alien, and then tightened the net.

Jing San didn't have that many lines. He strung the aliens on the lines like candied hawthorns, and then sat there slowly absorbing them.

The night passed, and no one slept.

In Jing San's team, strength speaks for itself. If you're strong enough, you can even take the captain's position.

Opportunities to improve their strength like this are rare, so why would they waste this time? Besides, going without sleep for a few days isn't a big deal for them.

Needless to say, Liu Wei's teammates, while none of them are vying for Jing Si's position, are all determined to improve their skills. Stronger players will have more influence within their teams.

The next day, everyone in the Jia family, including those who ran errands and did odd jobs, completely withdrew from the front lines at seven o'clock.

Jing Wu came with Jing Yi and Jing Er. He gave the order to completely seal off the First Battlefield.

Upon seeing the alien in the dense forest, the members of both groups turned red in the eyes.

Because Jingwu mentioned that Teacher Yu was also there, everyone restrained themselves, and no snatching occurred.

With a wave of her hand, Jing quickly separated the two groups and occupied the unoccupied areas.

Jingwu followed closely behind Jing'er, who then unleashed all her own lines. Only then did she patiently teach Jingwu how to absorb alien energy.

Soon, Liu Wei's men found him. "Captain, the aliens are no longer expanding their range. What could be the reason?"

Liu Wei didn't even look up. "Go absorb the energy. Senior Brother is here. He'll make the decisions. If he doesn't say anything, just focus on improving yourselves."
