Yu Meng was pondering her own thoughts. Meanwhile, Niannian was already discussing with Jing San how to get revenge.

"Third Brother, these people are all from Kyoto. Do we have any manpower in Kyoto?"

Jing San glanced at Jing Ancheng beside her. "Only the Jia family."

"Ah, the Jia family, that won't do, they're too much of a target." Niannian immediately ruled out the Jia family.

Yu Meng laughed. She actually knew quite a few families in Kyoto. The Hou family seemed to be from Kyoto as well, and Zhou Jingyan's former family also seemed to be based there.

After the group went inside, their view was obstructed, and their clothes were soaked through in no time. They had no choice but to retreat.

"Fourth Sister, why would they come to such a horrible place?"

Yu Meng shook her head; she didn't know either.

"What should we do then? If we go in like this, we can't see anything, and our clothes will stick to our bodies, which will be very uncomfortable."

"Should we go down and take a look?" Niannian asked, pursing her lips. She hadn't seen anything, but why was she a little excited?

"Let's go." Yu Meng wasn't one to hesitate; once she found something special, she naturally wanted to investigate.

Yu Meng grabbed Niannian's hand, "The visibility is low down below, don't get separated."

Niannian, her voice trembling slightly as Yu Meng tugged at her, asked, "Fourth Sister, could it be one of those aliens?"

The two of them descended quickly, and Yu Meng didn't land directly on the ground. They stopped three feet above the ground.

"So many?" Niannian screamed excitedly, and the little gray straw pounced on them.

"Fourth Sister, I'm going to that tree over there. I'm going to throw all the threads into the Lucky Nest."

Yu Meng sighed inwardly and asked, "Who can say that the aliens' gathering place is a haven of good fortune?"

She felt that Nian Nian was the chosen one of this world. She lacked love as a child and lost both her parents. As an adult, she met this otherworldly soul, loved her, protected her, and now, for her advancement, she had actually come to this godforsaken place.

Most importantly, the little black cat wasn't interested in the alien's energy at all, and wouldn't even come out for some fresh air.
