Why did you provoke me?

Chapter 412 Jing3 is scaring people.

She took out all the magic beads, but seeing that the man in black was still giving the same answer, she put them away.

He turned his head to look in Yu Meng's direction.

"We have some things to take care of here, and we'll leave once we're done." Yu Meng remained seated. "If your leader has any business to attend to, he can come here."

Having received Yu Meng's confirmation, the man in black withdrew from the dense forest.

He emerged from the dense forest, and the others quickly surrounded him.

"So? Did they agree?"

"No. But she said I could come find her here if I needed anything."

The leader kicked him again. "You idiot, we're sending them to see the leader, not the other way around."

The person who went in felt wronged. "I told her, but that's how she answered me."

"Boss, what do we do?"

"Let's go back first, and then we'll discuss a solution." After saying this, the leader left the dense forest.

The other four people hurriedly followed.

They walked quite a distance before stopping on a slope.

"Hurry up and change your clothes, or they'll recognize you."

"You're one to talk! Dressed like this, you're too conspicuous. What if they spot you? Would that be good for us?"

"What do you know? This is called mystery; only powerful forces dare to be so blatant."

"Oh, by the way, did you say where our leader is waiting for them? We'd like to make preparations in advance," the leader asked casually.

The person who went in blinked, not daring to look at the leader. "I... I don't think I said anything."

The people folding clothes stopped abruptly. "What did you say?"

The leader felt an itch on his foot and rubbed it on the ground. After pointing at him for a long time, he finally managed to utter, "You're really something."

The man who went in flinched. "Boss, it's no use talking. If they come looking for us, can the leader handle it?"

He finally raised his foot and kicked, "Is that something you should be worrying about? You didn't say where they were going to get here!"

Those who went in didn't dare to hide, "but they said they couldn't come, and told our leader to go see them."

He's also feeling wronged, okay? None of you dare to go in. It's already a miracle that I can go in and speak. Why are you asking for so much? If you're so capable, why don't you go yourself?

Of course, he wouldn't dare say these things. He would have to admit it was his own incompetence, that life was too stifling.

"Boss, it seems that Captain Hua has defected to them. When I went in, he stopped me." He quickly said something else to lessen his image of incompetence.

The leader's attention was indeed diverted. "Are you sure? If so, we'll have done a great job."

"Well, I'm not sure either. I'm just guessing; they haven't admitted it."

The leader was furious. "What did you mean by guessing? Are you kidding me?"

"But how are we supposed to report back to the chief? I'm in a real hurry!"

"Boss, don't get angry. Even if it's not related, we can still say it is. That Captain Hua has only had the same group of people over the years. The brothers even saw their bone-drawing master leave just a couple of days ago."

"You're asking me to fabricate evidence. If the leader blames us, who will take the responsibility?" The leader was completely panicked.

"Boss, boss, listen to me. This guy is just like us, a high-level errand boy. I saw him bowing and scraping to someone, and he didn't even have the same backbone as us."

Several people were talking amongst themselves, spouting mostly useless nonsense.

Jing San stood not far away and couldn't help but sneer. This kind of person wanted to do something to the teacher? He wouldn't even be able to do anything to him with a flick of his finger.

Jing San didn't move; he was waiting for the so-called leader.

The group lingered as they walked forward. But every road has an end, and Jing San followed them to a wooden house.

The leader kicked each person in turn, tugged at their clothes, and then went inside.

The remaining four people hung their heads, their feet unconsciously kicking at the pebbles on the ground, their heads tilting as they looked towards the doorway.

A moment later, curses and pleas for mercy came from inside the house.

"Useless! You can't even handle this simple task. What's the point of keeping you around?"

"Sir! Those are two terrifying demons! We don't want to get stuck in the tree!"

"You haven't done your job properly and you're still talking back? I think you're asking for it."

"No, there are no adults. They said you could go there to see them."

In short, the room fell silent.

"Did she really say that?"

"It's absolutely true. That's what she said. I would never lie like that, even if you killed me." The leader almost knelt down and swore an oath.

"I doubt you'd dare lie to me." After a pause, she continued, "When did they tell me to go?"

The leader fawned over him, picked up the things from the ground, and said, "This is all thanks to when you, sir, have time."

Stop flattering me and just tell me.

"They have something to do and need to stay in the forest for a few days, but they didn't say how many days." After saying that, he shrank to the side.

When Jing San heard that they were no longer saying anything useful, she simply knocked out the four people outside and then swaggered into the room.

The people inside stared at him blankly. "Who are you? Who are you looking for?"

Jing San pulled up a chair and sat down. "Weren't you looking for our bone-drawing master? Why don't you recognize me here?"

The two men inside didn't look too good. The man who seemed to be the leader kicked the other man, saying, "What are you standing there for? Go make some tea!"

"I'm going, I'm going." With that, he ran out, his hands and feet moving in unison.

Jing San's sinister voice rang out, "I didn't kill the people outside, but they can't come here now either."

The leader forced a smile. "You're joking. We mean you no harm; we just want to ask them for a favor. It's not for free; we'll pay you. Just name your price, and I won't haggle."

The leader finally managed to get his words out, albeit haltingly.

"Is that so?" Jing San's two simple words made the leader tremble.

"Yes, yes, as long as you can come, name your price, name your price." He wiped the sweat from his forehead. Who was this person? His aura was too strong.

Damn it, why hasn't that piece of trash come back yet?

"Tell me what you can offer." Jing San tapped the table.

The leader was startled. "Anything is fine, anything is fine."

"Anything is fine?" Jing San stood up, placed her hands on the table, and leaned forward. "I want control of this battlefield. You can give me that too?"

"Oh, well, I can't make that decision either!"

Jing San's cold voice rang out, "Are you playing me?"

"No, I didn't. I need to ask."

Jing San slowly sat down again, her voice soft, "Then ask."

"I, I,..."

"Um?"

The leader's Adam's apple bobbed, and he didn't dare wipe the sweat from his face. "It's like this," he pointed to the roof, "that my superiors have contracted a strange disease and told us to find a bone-drawing master. I saw that your bone-drawing master is quite skilled, so I wanted to give it a try."

Jing San chuckled lightly, "How come I didn't know that bone painters could also cure diseases?"

He slammed his hand on the table. "Still not telling the truth?"

The leader almost knelt down. "I...I don't know! That's what they ordered!"

Jing San placed his hand on the table, and when he lifted his hand again, five clear finger marks appeared on the table, which were surprisingly clear to the eye.

The leader's voice trembled, "I heard it was a disease contracted on the battlefield, but I don't know the specifics."

Jing San stood up. "You dare to bother my Bone Painter when you know nothing. This is a lesson for you."

Before the leader could react, he had already ducked down. He could only faintly hear, "If they dare to come again, kill them all."
