Why did you provoke me?

Yu Meng didn't pay much attention to Niannian's exclamation.

Her right eye was moving, looking at the gray and desolate scene before her.

The thick, sturdy trees looked as if they had been struck by lightning, their tops bald and charred. There was hardly any grass on the ground, and everywhere there were patches of rocks.

But inside, there were many aliens, all kinds. They were intertwined, wriggling and twisting.

Yu Meng's heart pounded. She couldn't even imagine what would happen if she mistook this place for a dense forest and stepped into it.

Seeing that Yu Meng hadn't spoken for a while, Niannian tentatively called out, "Fourth Sister?"

Yu Meng snapped out of her daze. "Wait a minute, let me take another look."

Hearing Yu Meng say this, Niannian knew that this place was not simple.

Yu Meng stopped looking into the distance. Instead, she stared at her feet and looked around along the outer edge of the path.

Sure enough, she found unusually active energy fluctuations in several locations.

She went over to observe carefully, and finally released both the little black cat and the tyrant.

Seeing her like this, Niannian also took out her little gray straw.

"Fourth Sister, how are you? Is it dangerous?"

Yu Meng turned to look at Niannian's little gray straw. "Niannian, see if your little gray straw can find that place with active energy?"

"Oh, I'll give it a try." Although Nian Nian is smart, her eyes are those of an ordinary person and she cannot see the direction of energy.

Yu Meng drew a rough outline. Niannian closed her eyes, focusing her mind and spirit on directing Xiao Hui.

Yu Meng watched as Xiao Hui passed by the energy source several times, but she couldn't find anything unusual, and she was at a loss.

After a long while, Niannian opened her eyes and shook her head at Yu Meng.

Yu Meng tapped the Overlord, and the Overlord immediately darted over and lay motionless on the energy source.

Yu Meng looked at Niannian, "Let Xiao Hui go over there and see if it can absorb it?"

Niannian hesitated for a moment, "Fourth Sister, isn't this a bit inappropriate? I can't take it from you."

"I'm not trying to take it from you, I'm just letting you try and see if your Little Gray can absorb this kind of energy," Yu Meng explained.

The little gray straw approached the tyrant, and the tyrant shifted its body slightly, as if making room for the little gray straw.

Niannian turned around and glanced at Yu Meng, who nodded.

Niannian tentatively gave the little gray straw the command to absorb.

But the result wasn't good. Little Gray seemed unable to find the spot; its straw looked like it was floating aimlessly in the air.

It took a long time for Nian Nian to call Xiao Hui back.

Yu Meng patted her shoulder. "It's okay. There's more than one kind of energy in this world, let's try something else."

This time, Niannian didn't lower her head; instead, she grinned. "Fourth Sister, I knew you were the best."

The little black cat gracefully disappeared into the woods. Then it brought out a ball of alien material with its mouth.

"Niannian, try these," Yu Meng said to Niannian, pointing to the alien that the little black cat had brought out.

Niannian released Xiao Hui, then looked up at Yu Meng. "Fourth Sister, aren't we going in?"

"You'll find out why I didn't go in soon enough." Yu Meng patted the little black cat's head. "There are more over there, go find them yourself."

Just as Yu Meng had guessed, the little gray straw was as effective against the alien as ever.

A large mass of aliens was firmly sucked up by Little Gray's straw, and then its feast began.

Niannian's voice rose a few decibels. "Fourth Sister, this will do."

"Okay, okay. What about the rest of your lines? Show them all."

Yu Meng released her lines, and it became a transporter.

Niannian's lines followed the creature several times, but something strange happened. Niannian's lines couldn't find the alien in the forest at all.

Yu Meng also pointed out the location of the alien to Nian Nian's lines, but it didn't work.

With no other options, Yu Meng had to resort to the most rudimentary method: using her own lines to move the clumps of alien creatures out of the forest.

The morning passed just like that, and the little black cat returned, wagging its tail.

Yu Meng glanced around and saw that there was still one last wisp of energy beneath the Overlord.

Yu Meng called to Niannian, and they retreated more than ten meters away.

The midday sun was very bright, and it seemed that in an instant, much of the heat dissipated.

Niannian was about to say something when she was so shocked by the sight before her that she grabbed Yu Meng's arm. Her lips trembled as she said, "Fourth Sister, look at that?"

Niannian stretched out her trembling hand, "What on earth happened? How could it be like this?"

Yu Meng patted Niannian reassuringly. "Don't be afraid, your fourth sister is here."

Before Meng could say anything more, Niannian suddenly exclaimed in surprise, "Fourth Sister, there are aliens everywhere!"

Niannian tugged hard at Yu Meng's arm. "Fourth Sister, I'm not leaving. I want to stay here and let Little Grey eat its fill."

Yu Meng's lips twitched. "If you like it, that's fine."

"I love it, I love it so much." The surprise came so fast that Niannian completely forgot the panic she felt when she first saw the scene in front of her.

The true scene unfolded before her eyes. Yu Meng walked around the edge for a long time; the forest was only about the size of two basketball courts.

Niannian spread her lines into a corner of this forest.

"Fourth Sister, you can have that over there," Niannian called out from afar.

Yu Meng glanced at the two little ones perched on her shoulder and shook her head helplessly. These two little guys had become too picky about food; they no longer cared about the energy in the aliens.

But Yu Meng's figure isn't just limited to these two little guys; don't forget she also has a small backpack on her back.

"Fourth Sister, suck half of it first, don't let it escape." Niannian's voice came again.

"I'll listen to you," Yu Meng responded loudly.

If any bone artists outside saw this scene, their first reaction would be to run as far away as possible. They certainly wouldn't react like Nian Nian, as if they were seeing a beautiful cake.

And so, once the lines of thought were full, they would pull at each other, consuming that energy. Then they would begin a new wave of absorption.

Yu Meng's little backpack wasn't so lucky. The Overlord stepped in and gave it a thorough beating until it was completely knocked to the ground. When the Overlord returned, it waved its tentacles at Yu Meng, as if to say, "You're welcome."

Niannian blinked. "Fourth Sister, how about we trouble Bawang to work out my muscles a bit?"

"If the beating is too severe, you might be affected," Yu Meng said, pointing out the stakes.

"It's okay, if Fourth Sister can persevere, so can I."

What Yu Meng didn't say was that because her innate talent had already advanced to the Saint Master level, the Overlord's abuse of the other talents had absolutely no effect on her.

"If you can persist, then I'll let Bawang give it a try first."

Nian Nian looked at Yu Meng earnestly. "As long as I can become stronger, I'm not afraid of suffering."

"Actually, you don't need to do that. Your method is just a little slower, but the final result will be the same."

"Fourth Sister, don't lie to me. Take the Bone Painter level for example, are you, me, Aunt Qing, and Sister Yan all the same in terms of skill?"

Yu Meng touched her nose; this one really was different.
