Chapter 504 Unifying Minds, Slaying Gods!

Deep in the Indian Ocean, on an unnamed archipelago.

When Peter arrived here with Cersei and the others from the Eternals, the volcano in the center of the island had already erupted.

The rocks beneath their feet trembled violently.

The vibrations were deep and regular, like the heartbeat of some enormous creature. Every few seconds, a muffled sound would come from the depths of the earth, causing the entire island and the surrounding sea to tremble.

"He's awake." Cersei's expression was grave. She crouched down and placed her palm on the rock surface, sensing the rapidly pulsating life energy deep underground.

"Tiamt senses the threat and is now accelerating his divine manifestation!"

As they spoke, the ocean currents formed several enormous whirlpools, within which half a head and a pair of large golden hands vaguely seemed to emerge.

Upon seeing this enormous creature emerge, everyone present couldn't help but swallow hard.

This is a true god!

Once he fully recovers, the entire Earth will be shattered to pieces because of his birth.

"How long until he completes his divine manifestation?"

"At this speed, it might take less than an hour."

Cersei stood up and said solemnly:

"We must use the Unity of Mind before then! Otherwise, the entire Earth will be destroyed!"

Upon hearing this, the druid crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes, which could manipulate mental energy, narrowed slightly:

"But Icarus and Ajak are both gone. Can we really seal Tiamt away on our own?"

"We have to give it a try!" Cersei's face was full of determination.

She had already decided to seal Tiamt away, even at the cost of her own life.

"Um... I have a better idea."

As Peter spoke, a black and gold battle suit identical to that of the Eternals materialized around his body:

"I can replicate your genes, and I have mastered the same ability to control matter as Cecily, so in essence, I can also be an immortal."

"You can completely surrender your energy to me, and I will complete the sealing of Tiamt!"

When Faustus, the inventor who proposed the method of "unifying the mind," heard this idea, he frowned:

"Are you sure? Unifying minds requires completely immersing your consciousness into a shared spiritual dimension, which is equivalent to you bearing the mental burden of ten people at the same time. Won't that turn you into an idiot?"

Peter glanced at this eccentric bunch and gave them a smile that made him really want a Chocola:

"Do you believe that the combined mental strength of ten of you isn't as strong as mine alone?"

Phastos thought about Peter's bizarre abilities—enough to crush Icarus and summon humanoid puppets with a wave of his hand—and suddenly realized that Peter's words made sense.

And so, Sersi, Ginger, Macaroni, the Druid, Faustos, Gilgamesh, Tina, Spike—all the Eternals—formed a circle and poured all their power into Peter's body.

Peter floated into the air, took a deep breath, and then swooped down directly onto Tiamt's head.

He placed his left hand on Tiamt's still trembling, massive body, which seemed to be struggling to break free, and murmured sarcastically:

"Time to go to sleep~"

The moment the words left his mouth, the ability to transform matter was activated at full power.

Centered on Peter's palm, Tiamt's massive golden body began to freeze at a visible speed.

The red-glowing eye that had appeared gradually went out during this process.

Sensing the threat of death, Tiamt suddenly began to struggle violently.

The tremors deep within the earth's crust changed from a regular heartbeat to a violent impact, causing the entire archipelago to shake violently.

The terrifying tremors even caused Cersei and the others, who were performing a unified mind ritual on the ground, to lose their footing.

The entire process of unifying the mind was about to be interrupted.

Peter then let out a cold snort and instantly increased his energy output.

He increased the freezing speed by more than a hundred times.

During this process, the small, worn-out watch on his wrist was running at full speed.

The genetic sequences of the Celestials are being disassembled, analyzed, and recorded one by one. This is a life structure far more complex than that of the Eternals, possessing primordial-level authority to draw energy from planetary cores, navigate independently in the universe, and reshape matter and energy.

The recording process naturally took an extremely long time.

This is a tug-of-war competition that ordinary people simply cannot complete!

Unfortunately, Tiamt's opponent is a cheat code whose body is always at its peak.

And so... he failed completely.

The massive body was frozen in place, and the terrifying tremors abruptly ceased.

The seawater, which had seemed to be boiling, gradually returned to calm. The dark clouds over the islands dispersed, and sunlight once again pierced through the clouds, casting golden spots of light on everyone.

"All done." Peter wiped non-existent sweat from his forehead and turned to the group.

"You can go back to where you came from. Of course, if you insist on seeing some scenes that might be too much for your heart, I won't kick you out."

These words piqued the curiosity of Cersei and the others, who were all eager to see what Peter would do next to Tiamt, who had already completed the seal.

Time passed second by second, and just as they were thinking, "Peter is probably just bragging to me."

Peter's tattered watch emitted a notification sound—Gene recording is complete!

The moment the notification sound rang, Peter licked his lips excitedly, then flipped his wrist, and black energy rapidly coiled and grew in his palm.

Ultimately, it formed a majestic yet sinister black longsword—the Black Death Sword!

Under normal circumstances, gods cannot be killed; at most, they can only be sealed away.

But the Black Death Sword in Peter's hand is precisely the kind of thing that can kill a god.

The Black Death Sword, as the weapon of the symbiotic god Gnar, once helped Gnar kill a celestial being millions of years ago.

After slaying his opponent, Gnar used the god's head as a furnace and divine blood as flames to temper the Black Death Sword.

This tempering process left all symbiotes with a weakness: a fear of high temperatures and high-frequency sound waves.

This also granted the Black Death Sword the ability to "target divinity" and "plunder the essence of each divine being it kills, using it to further strengthen itself."

Now, Peter is preparing to replicate Nar's feat from years past, using the power of the Black Death Sword to completely slay the sealed Tiamt.

Well, we can also see if the Black Death Sword can evolve into a higher level after absorbing the divine blood of the second god!

Thinking of this, Peter didn't hesitate. He jumped directly to where Tiamt's eye was and, without hesitation, raised the Black Death Sword and plunged it in...
