Even Icarus felt a little guilty being looked at with suspicion by his comrades who had fought alongside him for tens of thousands of years.

The veins on his forehead bulged as he turned to glare at Cersei and the others, roaring:

"Damn it, would you rather believe a human than my comrade?!"

His gaze swept over the faces of Sersi, Jingle, Macari, Spike, the Druid, Gilgamesh, and Phantos, his tone filled with deep melancholy:

"We have fought together for tens of thousands of years! From Babylon to Troy, from Egypt to India, how many mutant races have we killed side by side and how much human civilization have we protected?"

Now, you'd rather believe a complete stranger than believe me, your brother who's shared life and death with you?

These words carried considerable weight, and for a moment, a wavering expression appeared on everyone's faces.

Finally, everyone's gaze fell on Cersei.

On one hand, Cecilia is Icarus's lover and knows Icarus best.

On the other hand, Cersei inherited the Eternal Ball from Ajax, which shows that Ajax recognized Cersei as their captain.

They were willing to trust the judgment of their former leader, Ajax.

After a long pause, Cersei finally made her decision, speaking in a consultative tone:

"Mr. Peter, you just said that Ajax was killed by Icarus... That's a rather absurd claim. Can you... provide any evidence?"

Peter glanced at Icarus, whose face was ashen, and a smile involuntarily crept onto his lips:

"Want evidence? Fine, I'll give you the evidence."

As he spoke, he pressed the small broken watch, and his entire body instantly transformed into a 100% pure mutant.

Upon seeing this, everyone present tensed up simultaneously.

The ball of light in Ginger's palm instantly became blindingly bright. Makkari assumed a sprinting stance, and Spike was already preparing to cast an illusion to cover for everyone.

Icarus shouted even louder:

"Can't keep up the act anymore, huh? You really did side with the Mutant Race for power!"

As he spoke, laser beams appeared in his eyes, aimed directly at Peter's neck, clearly indicating his intention to kill Peter outright so that there would be no way to prove anything.

He had a good idea, but... how could Peter possibly give him such an opportunity?

Before his laser eyes could even touch Peter, Peter snorted and unleashed a devastating Shinra Tensei that swept across the entire arena.

The terrifying repulsive force sent everyone present flying.

Makare, the fastest among the crowd, finally regained his footing and was preparing to counterattack when, in the next second, he froze in place.

Even though she was deaf and mute, she couldn't help but gasp, letting out a hoarse and comical "quack~".

Within the enormous crater formed by the terrifying repulsive force, Peter, now back in human form, was tightly gripping Icarus's neck.

Icarus, the strongest warrior among all the Eternals, was like a giant rag doll in front of Peter, completely powerless!

"I must say, you're half right!"

Peter lifted Icarus into the air as if he were a chick, a devilish smile spreading across his face:

"I did gain power from those mutants, but it wasn't because I sided with them; I killed and absorbed them!"

"In the process, I accessed all of Chloe's memories, including how it was born and how it acquired Ajax's healing abilities."

At this point, Peter looked at Cersei and asked:

"So, is this evidence clear enough?"

Upon hearing this, everyone fell silent.

Just as Peter said, the strength he is showing now is the best proof.

Look at them now: Tina is in a coma, Gilgamesh is seriously injured, and Icarus is under control.

Of the remaining few who are still able to move, Sersi, Spike, and Druid are all supports, Macari is an assassin, Faustos is a squishy mage, and Jingle is an ADC.

You can't find a single person in the front row out of a group of people.

With Peter's current strength, killing them would be as easy as playing a game.

In this situation, why would he need to resort to scheming and trickery, or to frame others?

Before they could express their opinion based on this understanding, Peter continued:

"If you don't think this statement is convincing enough, I certainly have other ways to prove it."

As he spoke, Peter formed a hand gesture for psychic magic with one hand.

boom!

A puff of white smoke exploded beside Peter, and when the smoke cleared, a bizarre figure covered in black rods emerged from the smoke.

They are the sentinels of the human realm!

At Peter's prompting, the Human Path made no unnecessary movements, walked straight to Icarus, and placed his hand on the top of Icarus's head.

The moment the hand covered Icarus's head, Icarus's eyes suddenly rolled back.

The pain of having his memories forcibly retrieved and extracted caused his body to unconsciously contort into a knot.

Peter ignored Icarus's screams.

He simply raised his hand and drew a circle in mid-air.

A golden bronze mirror formed in mid-air, at Peter's command.

The memories of Icarus that he had retrieved and extracted surfaced on the bronze mirror.

Scenes of Icarus fighting against Cersei and others, and his marriage to Cersei in ancient Babylon with the blessing of the human high priest.

The scene shows the group disbanding due to ideological differences, him swallowing Ajax off an ice cliff, and watching as Ajax's abilities are extracted by Kro.

Scenes unfolded before the eyes of Cersei and the others.

First, she surprised them by covering their mouths, and then large tears welled up in her eyes.

Their captain, Ajax, was actually killed by Icarus!

After a long silence, Cecilia, her eyes red, looked at Icarus and asked:

"Now, what do you have to say?"

As Icarus regained consciousness after the Human Path withdrew, his face was deathly pale.

He opened his mouth, but couldn't utter a single syllable.

His carefully prepared arguments simply couldn't stand up to the irrefutable evidence.

Icarus looked at the shocked, resentful, and heartbroken looks in his companions' eyes as they looked at him.

Only now did he truly realize what he had lost: he had personally severed the brotherhood that had lasted for tens of thousands of years.

This caused his shoulders to slump, but he quickly readjusted himself—the mission given to them by the Celestials, that almost obsessive faith, became his only spiritual pillar.

"I... everything I've done is for the manifestation of God..."

His voice suddenly became high-pitched, even carrying a hint of compassionate certainty:

"Don't you understand? The birth of the Celestials is bound to be accompanied by sacrifices... All life on this planet was destined from the very beginning to become nourishment for Tiamt."

Whether it's Ajax's death or the billions of Holy Spirits on this planet, it's all just a small part of a greater plan.

It's laughable that Ajax, as the leader, actually tried to stop the divine manifestation. She betrayed our creator. All I did was carry out the punishment she deserved on behalf of the Celestials..."

Before he could finish speaking, Cersei slapped him across the face:

"Icarus, you disgust me!"
