In the sky above the underworld, two crimson chaotic spells were still clashing fiercely.

Wanda and the evil witch have been fighting with all their might for more than half an hour.

The magical energy consumed in this process was undoubtedly astronomical. The two of them even turned pale due to the excessive consumption of magical energy, but they still stubbornly confronted each other, neither willing to give an inch.

In the blink of an eye, the two Scarlet Witches once again conjured magical missiles that would make the fat man and the little boy pale in comparison.

But just as these two chaotic spells were about to collide head-on again, a figure appeared without warning at the intersection of the two energies.

Who else could this be but Peter?

He stood there straight in mid-air, not even in a defensive stance, as if the two chaotic forces that were powerful enough to tear space apart were just two gentle breezes blowing in his face.

The moment the crimson wave of magic touched his body, it was silently swallowed up and dissolved by an invisible barrier, without even lifting a single hair on his head.

Upon noticing Peter's appearance, both Wandas were stunned.

Immediately afterwards, the two of them stopped outputting chaotic magic in perfect unison.

Looking at Peter with a face full of anxiety, he asked:

"Honey, are you alright?"

Upon hearing the evil witch say the same thing as her, Wanda's forehead creased with a patter of fury.

"You thief who tries to steal someone else's happiness, what right do you have to call Peter 'dear'?"

The evil witch's relentless response:

"After I kill you, I'll naturally have the right to do so!"

"That's enough, you two, just shut up!"

Peter rubbed his temples in exasperation, then spoke to Wanda first:

"Don't you trust me? Why argue with her like this?"

Wanda mumbled something indistinctly, but if you listened carefully, you could hear that she said:

"That's exactly why I'm worried!"

After persuading Wanda, Peter turned to the evil witch and said:

"As for you, all the helpers you brought have fallen," Peter said, pointing to the Illuminati members lying scattered below.

"Even if you were to put up a stubborn resistance, how long do you think you could last?"

Upon hearing this, the evil witch subconsciously glanced at the battlefield below.

Iron Heart was torn to pieces, Captain America Carter was covered in scratches, Red Hulk was a bloody mess, Black Bolt was bruised and battered by Daisy, and Evil Strange was almost completely devoid of human form.

Seeing the miserable state of the Illuminati members, even her eyes twitched involuntarily, and she was secretly shocked by the fighting power of the Avengers in this universe.

But after the initial surprise, her proud and aloof nature ultimately prevailed, and she let out a cold snort:

"I knew they were unreliable from the start."

As she spoke, she drew a line in the air with her fingertip, and a phantom of a magic book, entirely black with twisted runes outlined in dark red patterns on its cover, appeared out of thin air.

It is the Dark Book!

The evil witch pressed her hand on the spine of the book, and crimson chaos magic began to pour into the book, drawing even more violent power back from between the pages.

"So, I never actually intended to rely on them to get you."

A sickly smile curled at the corners of her lips, her gaze fixed intently on Peter. "I will use my own strength to defeat her, take you away, and make you my man in my own way."

As the evil witch swore her oath, the power of the Dark Book began to surge wildly, and the chaotic magic surrounding the evil witch suddenly increased several times over under the book's blessing.

A crimson energy storm whipped her chestnut hair wildly, and a complex expression of madness and obsession appeared on her beautiful face.

But the next second, Peter was already standing beside her.

Its speed was so fast that it even exceeded the evil witch's ability to perceive it with the naked eye.

She felt a blur before her eyes, and the next second she saw someone reach out and grab her wrist as she was about to turn the pages of the book. The force was not strong, but it was enough to make her stop completely.

The evil witch froze, a fierce resentment flashing deep in her eyes.

"Let's stop here." Peter's voice was soft, but to the evil witch, it carried more power than any forbidden magic.

"You know this too, don't you? I can't just stand by and watch you replace Wanda."

The evil witch's lips twitched slightly, as if she wanted to retort, but Peter's next words silenced her.

"If I would give her up for you," Peter said slowly, "then one day I will give you up for someone else. And someone like me wouldn't deserve your love, would I?"

The evil witch's hand paused.

The hand that was hovering above the Dark Book, ready to draw more power, froze in mid-air.

The rustling sound of turning pages gradually stopped, and the gray-black mist slowly receded between the pages. The phantom of the Dark Book flickered briefly beside her before fading away.

She looked at Peter, and the mad light in his scarlet pupils slowly faded, revealing something deeper beneath.

Confusion, pain, the helplessness of being unable to continue pretending after someone has hit your sore spot.

"Damn it..." Her voice choked, and she collapsed as if all her strength had been suddenly drained away.

"You're right. I should have known better; you would never give her up for me."

"But... what else can I do if I don't do this?"

Her voice suddenly rose, and with red eyes, she roared at Peter as if in a fit of rage.

"I've had enough of those maddening nights, enough of having no one beside me on my pillow."

Why must I watch helplessly as my counterpart in a parallel universe finds perfect love, while I can only be a humble bystander?

Why should I have to go through all that pain? Why can she get what I can't get no matter how hard I try, without losing anything?

"Why can't I find a new Vision? Why can't I have my own Peter?"

As the evil witch questioned her, the chaotic energy within her body fluctuated wildly.

This natural-born witch, who could erase the genes of all mutants in the universe with just a single sentence, was now unconsciously activating the astonishing power within her body, causing the rules of the entire underworld to be affected.

Hela was startled by this terrifying power and instinctively wanted to use her authority to suppress it, but Peter stopped her with a look.

Seeing the evil witch's emotions spiraling out of control, Peter could only tighten his grip slightly and pull her soft body into his arms.

The effect was immediate; with his movement, the rampaging chaotic energy and the evil witch's cries came to an abrupt halt...
