Marvel: I became an ancestor by sacrificing offerings.

Chapter 376 Peter: Actually, I'm on the 5th floor!

Thor stood there, stunned, staring at the empty stone slab; his pupils dilated instantly.

"Peter!" Thor roared, his voice a tearing rage.

The arcs of electricity on his body instantly turned into a blinding blue-white, all the runes on Mjolnir lit up, and the power of lightning raged in the hall, splitting the surrounding stone pillars and walls into countless cracks.

Thor slammed his feet off the ground, his body transforming into a streak of blue lightning as he hurtled toward Ebony Maw at incredible speed.

Ebony Maw watched Thor charge towards him, then gently raised his right hand, and the Reality Stone spun in a red light.

A red light condensed a meter in front of Thor, turning into a transparent solid.

Thor's body came to a standstill the instant it struck the transparent solid.

His Mjolnir slammed into the solid surface, unleashing a burst of lightning, but it couldn't advance an inch.

The transparent solid layer began to extend outwards, enveloping Thor entirely in the blink of an eye.

Thor was immobilized in mid-air, stuck in a hammer-wielding pose, unable to move. The lightning on his body clashed wildly inside the transparent solid, but it could not break the confinement.

"Calm down, little princess," Ebony Maw said, looking at the struggling Thor.

The veins on Thor's neck bulged, his mouth was wide open, and his voice, coming through the transparent solid, became extremely muffled:

"Damn it, give Peter back to me, or I guarantee none of you will leave Asgard alive!"

Ebony Maw put the Reality Gem back into his sleeve and placed his hands together in front of his abdomen.

"That Earthling is beyond saving; he was torn to shreds by the spatial turbulence, leaving not even ashes behind."

"However, Titan has no intention of being an enemy of Asgard, so as compensation for accidentally killing your ally, I can return Loki to you as an apology."

Thor's eyes were fixed on Ebony Maw, his nails digging deep into his palms, blood dripping from his fingers into the transparent solid.

"Don't look at me like that. In this situation, are you sure you want to declare war on Titan and the great Thanos because of one Earthling?"

Ebony Maw slowly and deliberately persuaded Thor, "Believe me, Asgard cannot afford such a price now."

Thor's teeth clenched so tightly that they rattled, his body trembling violently within his confinement. Mjolnir's lightning began to converge on him, clearly preparing for a final stand.

But just then, a hand landed on Thor's shoulder.

Frigga had somehow appeared behind Thor, her right hand resting on his shoulder. A warm magical energy flowed through her palm into Thor's body, calming his turbulent thunderous power.

"Saul, don't be impulsive!" Frigga's voice was low and firm. "The dead cannot be brought back to life!"

Thor turned to look at Frigga, his eyes filled with confusion and anger.

"Mother!" Saul cried.

Frigga didn't look at him, but instead turned her gaze to Ebony Maw.

"Take your people and leave Asgard," Frigga said coldly.

Ebony Maw looked at Frigga, bowed slightly, and gave a salute.

"A wise choice, Your Majesty," said Ebony Throat.

He took a step back, and a black rift opened in the void behind him. A chilling aura emanated from the rift, and countless distorted lights and shadows could be vaguely seen within.

Ebony Maw's body disappeared into the crevice, which then rapidly contracted, vanishing without a trace.

The transparent solid enveloping Thor vanished in an instant, and Thor fell from mid-air, his feet slamming heavily onto the stone slab. He braced himself with his hammer, panting heavily.

"Mother, why are you stopping me?" Thor shouted. "Peter came to Asgard to help us! He just took my place on Earth and dealt with Kur, and then he saved you at the crucial moment!"

"He's our savior, and we just chose to repay kindness with enmity. That's not the way of the king you taught me!"

Frigga looked at Saul, her expression unusually calm.

She walked over to Loki, reached out, and gently patted Loki's shoulder.

Loki leaned against a stone pillar, his face pale, a trace of weariness still lingering in his eyes. He looked at Thor and gave a cold laugh.

"Thor, is there nothing in your brain but muscles?" Loki said.

"Shut up, Loki!" Thor roared. "How could they have gotten into Asgard if you hadn't led the way?"

Loki shrugged, offering no rebuttal, but simply turned his head to one side.

Frigga looked at Saul and sighed helplessly.

"Saul, do you think Peter is the kind of person who would be easily killed because of carelessness?" Frigga asked.

Thor paused for a moment, Mjolnir hung at his side, and the lightning gradually faded away.

"But I saw him being swallowed by the spatial distortion with my own eyes," Thor replied. "The power of the Reality Stone is something even the gods cannot resist."

Frigga gently stroked Thor's head, her expression turning somewhat amused.

"Just so you know, that kid killed eight of Kur's Skyhammer Venerables and seized their hammers," Frigga said. "One of them was the Breaker's Hammer, which can break through most magic and barriers in this world, including spatial boundaries."

Thor blinked, and his muscular brain began to slowly turn.

Loki rolled his eyes and patted his forehead.

"Idiot," Loki scoffed, "meaning with that hammer in hand, there's no way he could have been killed by the warped space. That cunning guy was just playing along!"

At this point, he couldn't help but silently add in his mind:

"Just like when I teased you, and he teased me..."

Frigga nodded and continued, "Peter didn't even activate a protective barrier before entering the spatial distortion. He was using Ebony Maw's spatial portal to leave Asgard."

Thor scratched his blond hair, the anger in his eyes gradually fading, replaced by confusion.

"But why would he do that?"

"Because of Thanos." Frigga turned around, looking at the stone gate of Odin's palace. "That guy named Ebony Maw has Thanos behind him. Peter will face endless attacks if he's in the open. Only when he disappears will Thanos lower his guard."

……

At this moment, Peter was moving swiftly through endless darkness and distortion.

The raging spatial storm was like countless sharp blades, constantly cutting into his body.

But Peter's body was always covered by a layer of warm white light. The power of the Horse Talisman flowed through his meridians, and any tiny scratches caused by the spatial storm would be healed by the white light in an instant, leaving no trace.

In his right hand he held a warhammer that emitted an earthy yellow glow—the Hammer of the Boundary Breaker.

As Loki said, Peter was indeed playing along.

Peter had already made his calculations when Ebony Maw activated the power of the Reality Stone.

From the moment Ebony Maw obtained the Reality Stone, the counterfeit Voldemort was already in an invincible position.

Once I use the Breaker's Hammer to dispel the distorted space, the opponent's reaction will definitely be to turn around and run away.

Given the Reality Stone's ability to alter reality at will, Peter might not be able to stop the other party.

Since that's the case, why not go with the flow and pretend to be torn apart by the spatial turbulence?

With the protection of the Horse Talisman and the Breaker's Hammer clearing the way, the spatial turbulence couldn't cause him any real harm.

More importantly, he also has the skill of compassionately guiding souls away from their fate.

He could activate his skill at any time, instantly appearing beside them and showing that damned purple sweet potato demon what it meant to be:

"Surprise, mutherfucker~"
