"Professor Deng, what was on the undead?" Su Mingjin frowned. "You came into close contact with it?"

"Don't worry, Commander Su, I've been keeping a close eye on the isolation. This thing is mainly related to the magical elements in the air. After those undead die and are split apart, they basically lose their ability to infect."

Su Mingjin's breathing became rapid as her previous speculation took shape in her mind: "You mean, this X substance... is the key to driving those undead's actions?"

"Possibly, but I suspect it's only one part of the equation. It's more likely a driving force, not a substance that transmits information!"

A chilling light flashed in Deng Dakang's eyes. He lowered his voice and said, enunciating each word clearly, "Commander Su, I believe we need to collect enough undead samples in the future, and give me some recently deceased creatures... um, preferably some undead bosses!"

"Given enough material, I believe I can create the undead."

Upon hearing this, the air in the entire laboratory seemed to freeze.

The way the men looked at Deng Dakang changed.

Li Xiang and Li Donglai gasped, their eyes filled with horror.
