Wang Huanbo felt reassured and, while firing, directed Old Smoker and the others lying in ambush behind him to open fire. Under the crossfire, the Japanese squad was quickly annihilated.

"Shunzi!" Wang Huanbo's eyes were bloodshot, his anger instantly consuming his reason! He gently put Pusheng down, turned around instantly, and with lightning speed, his left hand pulled out the Colt M1911A1 pistol from his waist (actually from the system space)! There was no need to aim at all; the muscle memory brought by [Advanced Firearms Proficiency] made him fire as soon as he raised his hand!

"Bang!"

The gunshot, much louder than a Southern pistol, shook the entire arena! The bullet struck the feigning dead soldier squarely in the face, smashing his head into a bloody pulp!

"Shunzi! How are you?!" Wang Huanbo rushed to Shunzi's side to check his injuries. Fortunately, the bullet was lodged in his shoulder blade and had not damaged any internal organs, but he had lost a lot of blood.

The soldiers were also deeply moved by Shunzi's loyalty and bravery. They quickly lifted the wounded, helped up Doukou and Xianglan, and moved rapidly towards the church. Wang Huanbo, holding a gun, covered the rear, his cold eyes sweeping across the battlefield. He stored several boxes of rifle bullets he had taken from the Japanese soldiers and the 30 Arisaka bullets that had recently appeared next to Shunzi (discovered by the system) into his system space.
