Fez's refusal did not deter Dorian.

On the way here, Dorian had already thought it through. He knew how much he would have to pay to be with Fez, but he still decided to take the gamble.

Although he didn't know if he and Fies would end up together, or if he would regret his decision in the future.

But he knew that if he backed down again, he would immediately regret it.

Dorian sent a message home saying that something had happened and he would be back to the capital planet later. He then stayed on the mountain and began a protracted battle with Fez.

When Fez refused to let him stay at his house any longer, he moved to stay at the homes of other insects.

Fies avoided him, so he would find various reasons to talk to Fies every day.

The other insects in the village could all see that Dorian was pursuing Fez, and they provided him with a lot of convenience.

They were unaware that Dorian and Fez were not of a suitable rank, and were quite pleased that Fez finally had the opportunity to resolve the major issue of insect life.

Only Uncle Apache shook his head and sighed when he saw Dorian pursuing Fies, but he didn't say much, after all, he was just an outsider.

In the time that followed, Dorian and Fez went through many chaotic chases and escapes. It could be said that Dorian used all of his limited cunning to pursue Fez.

He even took advantage of Fies's lack of understanding of the physical condition of high-level female insects, lying to Fies that he had been seriously injured on the battlefield and was not long for life, in order to gain Fies's sympathy.

Fez, a male insect who grew up in the mountains, had never seen such tricks before and was completely fooled by Dorian.

After many more things happened, Fez finally agreed to be with Dorian.

Even after Fez discovered he had been deceived and became very angry, he didn't break up with Dorian; he still loved Dorian after all.

But the days after they actually got together were even happier and more joyful than Dorian had imagined.

The longer they spent together, the more determined Dorian became. He felt that he had made the right choice and that he was sure he could be with Fez in the end, even if it wouldn't be for long. He would not regret it.

The only thing that bothered Dorian was that Fez didn't touch him, and they rarely even kissed. Their physical contact was basically limited to hugs.

It wasn't that Dorian was unreserved and wanted to have a relationship with Fez so quickly; in fact, in his mind, he felt that such things should be done after marriage.

Kofis acted as if she had no desire for him at all, which made Dorian doubt his own charm.

As for Dorian's doubts, Fez gently explained that it was because she cherished him, and the more she liked him, the less she wanted to have a casual relationship with Dorian.

In these situations, it's always the female insect who suffers, so Fez wants to wait until after marriage before having any further contact with Dorian.

Dorian was touched by Fez's high regard for him, so he stopped dwelling on the matter.

However, Fies's words reminded him that it was time to put marriage on the agenda.

Dorian explained the true situation of his family to Fies, and then suggested that he take Fies back to the capital planet to meet his family.

Fez remained silent for a moment before smiling and agreeing. He then searched the mountains for various local specialties to bring as a gift to Dorian's house bug.

However, after the two insects returned to the capital planet, Dorian did not immediately take Fies home, but instead settled Fies in one of his properties.

Dorian hadn't told his family about being with a low-ranking male insect. He knew that if he brought Fis home now, the family insects wouldn't be happy about it.

To prevent Fiss from being wronged, Dorian decided to go back home alone first and have a proper talk with his family about the matter.

If his family can accept it, that would be the best, and then he could smoothly take Fiss home to meet his parents.

However, Dorian was not a naive child and knew that the possibility was extremely slim.

If his family firmly disagreed, he would take Fiss back to Yugstar. As for the resources his family had invested in him over the years, he would find another way to repay them.

In Dorian's mind, the worst-case scenario was that he would leave his family and live as an ordinary commoner with Fez.

But he didn't expect that the pressure from his family would be almost unbearable.
