The little guy's learning progress is very slow these days; their focus is still on supplementing his nutrition.

The first thing Wu Tu does every day when he arrives at the ice rink is not training, but eating.

Winston would have the chef prepare a variety of dishes for him every day.

The little guy seemed to want to refuse, but when the delicious-looking food was served, he could only swallow his saliva.

Only the little guy knows how delicious, spicy, and numbing the food has been these past few days.

After just a few days of feeding, the little guy's face became a bit fuller and his complexion improved a lot. The way he blinked and chewed the dumplings while holding a plate of them made Winston's heart melt.

The little guy's clear, round eyes were clean and bright, without any dirty emotions hidden within them. They couldn't hold any unpleasantness and only remembered the kindness others showed him.

Winston affectionately patted his head, and the little guy, as if a switch had been flipped, fed him the food from the plate.

The little guy reciprocated with the purest affection: he always gave Winston the first bite of his food.

Seeing the little guy's expectant eyes, Winston had no choice but to accept the child's kindness.

However, when the child offered him the first bite of the cake, Winston was not so gentle; he wouldn't just let him taste it.

At the nutritionist's suggestion, he took a big bite, leaving only a thin layer of the black rabbit.

Because the little guy eats too many sweet things, Winston is worried that he will have a stomachache when he gets home, and it will also be bad for his teeth.

The little guy's good intentions were thwarted when he saw the remaining, incomplete cake.

He looked at his favorite lemon cupcakes, then at Mr. Winston, whom he liked just as much, and held back his tears for a long time before they finally fell.

But the next second, after hesitating for a moment, he actually handed all the remaining small cakes to Winston.

"Mr. Winston likes it, give it to him."

Even though the little guy can't lie, his expression was full of reluctance.

But when the little guy thought Winston liked the cakes too, he was able to resist giving him all of his cakes.

It was as if the little guy would give Winston anything he asked for, and whatever he had, he would give it to him.

Because Winston protected him and redeemed him.

So the little guy is willing to give his all, even at the cost of his life.

Because the little guy knew that he had nothing, and the only thing he could give back to Winston was a sincere heart.

Winston looked at the child in front of him; his sincerity was so dazzling that it could almost burn someone.

Such a selfless and reckless personality, willing to sacrifice everything, is distorted and fostered in an environment lacking love and security.

It's not perfect, but it's a genuine feeling that no one else can offer.

This affection could almost expose the ugly people around him, leaving them nowhere to hide.

Winston longed to hold his child and show him off to the whole world, and he also longed to kiss him.

But Winston held back.

He remained clear-headed in his memory, and the black ox was the greatest reward waiting at the finish line.

……

The little guy was clean, happy, and well-fed when Winston sent him back.

But the next day, instead of the black rabbit, only the woman and her child arrived.

"Hello, hello! Mr. Winston!! I had no idea you had taken care of our black rabbit for so long. I don't even know how to thank you enough."

When the woman saw Winston, her previous tantrums vanished, replaced by unparalleled fawning.

Despite being a middle-aged woman, few people have ever witnessed such an exaggerated change of face when it comes to currying favor with the wealthy.

Winston felt nauseous watching it.

But the woman seemed oblivious to Winston's cold expression, continuing to move closer to him, her shrill voice nauseating.

"That child Wutu is really something. He received such a great favor from you, and he didn't even tell us."

"He's always been petty, taciturn, slow-witted, stupid, and selfish. Even towards his family, he always seems to be unable to bear seeing us doing well."

"He's taking classes here, and he's trying to keep it a secret from us and his brother. He's openly and secretly trying to monopolize your resources. That's so selfish."

"Look, we just found out about your situation and rushed over to thank you. We didn't even have time to prepare a gift. We'll make it up to you later..."

Winston thought to himself: What's the point of making up for it? Just talk. This woman is unlikely to spend money on something like this.

But what the woman said next truly opened his eyes.

"Look at Wutu, that child has absolutely no talent and has never learned to dance. He'll only be able to pick up trash in the future; he'll never become a world-class dancer. If you have a good eye, you should sponsor our child! He's absolutely a promising talent; he's been learning dance for two years and has already passed level six!"

Winston's lips curled into a cold, insincere smile as he said:

"Your child? Isn't the black crow your child?"

The woman's eyes darted around, and she quickly agreed:

"Yes, yes, of course, but he's too stupid and useless, so let's not talk about him."

"Look at my child, he's smarter and kinder than his brother, and he's even been named a model student by the school! If he becomes a dance champion in the future, won't you benefit from that too?"

"His coach said before that he's a rare talent, and if you want to invest, you have to invest in him to make a fortune!"

Winston was almost laughing in anger. He didn't know where this woman got her confidence from. She accused him of being blind to his abilities when he didn't invest.

He said coldly, "On what grounds? Just because you say it?"

The woman seemed to have expected this, and she laid out her brother's certificates of merit one by one in front of Winston.

Winston glanced at them casually and saw that they were all competitions that had been deliberately rigged and were purely commercial, with no real value whatsoever. In the eyes of industry insiders, these certificates were nothing but a joke.

But the woman still acted arrogantly:

"Look at all these certificates! Our child is destined to be a world champion. If you invest now, people will praise you for your good judgment. But if you don't see his potential now, you'll probably regret it later!"

Winston felt that the woman's shouting was making his eardrums hurt, it was very annoying, and he wanted to shut her up forever.

Her child showed no manners or upbringing when visiting elders, keeping his head down the whole time playing games with the volume turned up very loud, completely absorbed in the game.

Winston thought about how the woman had belittled Crow in front of him, and then looked at her precious son, and sneered inwardly.

Isn't it obvious who is foolish and selfish, and who is clever and obedient?

With parents like her, it's no surprise that the children she raises will also be short-sighted and narrow-minded, spending their entire lives in this small town, wasting their lives, and ending tragically.

And so what if Wu Tu is lucky? Even if Winston's darling is a silly little fool who only knows how to act cute and has no brains, he's still a million times better than this kid.

Because the black rabbit is his child, his treasure.

Winston had no desire to continue the conversation with this woman, but a sudden thought struck him, and he asked:

"Where is my (my child)... Wu Tu? Doesn't he want to come dance anymore?"

The woman slapped her thigh with a "tsk" sound:

"He's just being lazy and refuses to come no matter what. That's just his gene, not something he inherited from me. He must be some bastard he got from somewhere. He's lazy and good-for-nothing all day long. I said a few words to him and he just lay there and wouldn't talk to me."
