Wu Tu is a small NPC in a strange dungeon.

He is the smallest and most useless member of the "Happy Family".

Always standing quietly in the corner, watching his father and mother hide their ugly bodies and show a warm smile to the new "pigs" who come in when the dungeon is about to open.

Wu Tu doesn't know how he came to be; he seems to have no other memories besides this family.

He doesn't remember anything from his childhood; he's only conscious now because he's already here as an NPC.

When players enter, the parents will hunt them down, watching with amusement as they gradually descend from optimism to despair.

If no players come in, his parents and younger brother will bully him relentlessly, making it impossible for him to be a quiet mushroom.

Why is there bullying in the bizarre dungeon?

Although the NPCs in the eerie dungeons are quite resilient, they can be pieced back together and come back to life even if they break, so they won't be tortured to death.

However, the black worm has to go around every day picking up its fallen limbs, pulling out all sorts of worms and rotting flesh to cook, and watching its skin being cut open and then healed is not a pleasant experience.

Moreover, looking at the "parents'" appearance for too long can be disgusting.

During periods when the instance is not open, they will not go out or go to work; they will simply stay at home every day, revealing their true forms—densely packed with empty spaces—beneath their human skin disguises.

At this point, their only pleasure is ordering him around.

After all, according to the rules, he was originally just an adopted son.

When he appeared in this instance, no one expected it.

My dad, mom, and brother are now a family.

And he was always the only exception in this copy... in this family.

No one expected him to appear, and no one was waiting for him to save them.

He's not very capable; he's an NPC that even players can easily beat up. All he can do is wander around the house and lend a hand to the players.

He didn't know whether he was disliked by his family because he was too weak, or because he was disliked, which made him weak.

Anyway, it's just a cycle that keeps going on.

Therefore, Wu Tu does what he is supposed to do every day.

He cleaned the house, wiped away the bloodstains from his family members' bodies, washed everyone's clothes, and cooked for everyone—he was practically a servant.

When the instance opens, he is a harmless informational NPC who explains the beginner steps to players and reminds them of the rules.

At first, Wu Tu thought it was a good thing that players were approaching him. The players were all very kind to him, smiling at him, thanking him for the information he provided, or trying to get more information out of him.

But later, the little guy discovered that these players only wanted his information. Some would let him go, while others would secretly harm him behind his back, shifting the blame onto Wutu and making Wutu suffer the punishment.

Wu Tu has lost count of how many times she has been tricked like this.

But the thought of them speaking to me gently and kindly, of them saying thank you...

This is when Wutu feels that it is a rare moment of respect.

So he softened and helped her.

Wu Tu knew he was an anomaly.

But it doesn't matter.

When the little guy has a spare moment, he likes to browse forums about the supernatural.

The monsters and NPCs in these instances all have their own internal forums for communication.

Meanwhile, among the humans, there is a forum where all players can communicate.

Wu Tu didn't know why he could see it on both forums, but he still often opened the player forum to secretly stalk and soak up some of the activity.

It's like the black crow was originally a human.

Unsure of his own identity, Wu Tu could only secretly peek from a corner.

By looking at the player forums, the little guy could roughly understand what these strange dungeons meant for humanity.

Humans are randomly selected to enter the instance. If they survive, they can obtain items or skills that they can use in the real world.

Once you enter a dungeon and survive successfully, you can choose other dungeons, but you still have to follow the rules.

Now that the factions have been reshuffled after entering the instance, the human world is in complete chaos, and some people who have acquired skills are not cooperating with management.

Moreover, each country is only busy protecting the majority of its people and the safety of the entire nation.

The dungeons are also divided into several levels. The dungeon where Wutu is located is in the lowest level category, which means that the difficulty level is not high.

It's not difficult, but that doesn't mean it won't kill you.

This dungeon is relatively easy for Chinese people, but it's quite difficult for foreigners.

Initially, the level of "Happy Family" wasn't that low. It was only because some Chinese people discovered this instance, which felt like their own home, that they deliberately used it to level up and clear the instance, thus forcibly lowering the difficulty.

It's just tough on the foreigners who are randomly pulled in or scammed each time. They have no idea how to deal with such terrifying Chinese families.

In the dungeon, the scolding from those parents will come true.

"Are you no longer listening to your parents? You think you're all grown up now? You ungrateful wretch."

Rule three: Disobedient children will pay the price.

The outcome is that you might suddenly lose control and stick your hand into your eye, forcibly gouging out your eyeball.

"We're doing this for your own good, why don't you listen? If you don't listen, we'll send you to an internet addiction treatment center."

Rule ■■: Some content is missing... [Run!!!]

Once this rule is violated, one will be trapped in a state of neither life nor death, and will be taken away by the supernatural and transformed alive, becoming a vessel with a clear mind but helplessly watching itself become distorted, from which there is no escape.

"Don't you love peanuts the most? Mom made these especially for you, why aren't you eating them? Are you allergic? I didn't put in many, you're just being dramatic."

Rule Five: You must not disobey any of your mother's orders.

……

These cases, one by one, are practically a carbon copy of many East Asian families.

But for Chinese people who have grown up in this pattern, it's considered easy.

Only the foreigners listened blankly to the strange things their family members said, their mental state severely attacked, their lucidity plummeting.

Their top leaders slammed their fists on the table and shouted:

"This isn't a C-rank difficulty dungeon at all! These Chinese are blatant scammers! They're trying to wear down our elite forces with this kind of tactic!"

"What kind of parents would attack their own child like that? And that adopted son is constantly being abused; in reality, we would have called the police long ago!"

Indeed, as they said, when foreign players entered the dungeon and saw the little guy explaining the rules, they would chat with him enthusiastically. But when they later saw what happened to the little guy, they all cried their eyes out.

Because foreigners don't intentionally subject children to any kind of setbacks or educational experiences, and they have very strong family values, they simply can't understand why there are such pitiful children.

Unfortunately, no matter what these people are thinking, even if they sympathize with Wu Tu and want to save him, there will be no follow-up if they cannot clear the level.

The final outcome is always death.

Wu Tu didn't want to think about what happened in the dungeon anymore. He shook his head and continued reading the player forum.
