The little guy even went on a long walk around the palace with Ethan.

While they were playing outside, the cubs turned around and started to revert to their old ways, picking up things everywhere.

When he stuffed the twigs, leaves, and stones into the cloth bag that Ethan was carrying, Ethan didn't say anything, he just wagged his tail happily.

But as they collected the spoils, the cub's loot became increasingly strange.

A mineral, an unidentified creature, a huge medical pod...

"Wait, Your Highness, where did you find this?!"

Ethan took a closer look:

"Oh my god, there's someone else inside! Your Highness, be careful!"

I wonder if that guy inside is still alive.

But the cub seemed completely unsuspecting. He walked over, put his hand on the treatment pod, and looked inside.

Inside was a young man dressed in exquisite and gorgeous clothes, with an extraordinary air about him.

It looks about the same size as Cyrus.

Even though Ethan was carefree, he wasn't completely brainless. He could tell at a glance that this person must be someone important, and that the person's treatment pod had the Alliance's logo on it.

So Ethan immediately tried to get the cubs away.

But when Ethan moved the treatment pod, the person inside moved with it, and the person's head hit the glass of the treatment pod, and blood immediately flowed from their forehead.

Seeing this, Ethan panicked: "Why is this person trying to scam me...?"

Before he could finish speaking, the person inside seemed to wake up for a moment from the pain, glanced at the two of them, and then turned into a snow-white wolf.

The cub's gaze fell on the wolf's bushier tail, which was more fluffy than anyone else's, and it hesitated.

He looked at Ethan.

While worried, Ethan couldn't help but say:

"Your Highness, don't pick up everything..."

But in the end, Ethan couldn't resist the cub's pleas.

As soon as the little guy lifts his face and looks at Ethan with his palm-sized face and big eyes, Ethan gives up the choice on his own.

So the two children, one trembling with fear and crying, the other with his mind filled with images of the big tail, took the treatment pod back with them.

Cyrus knew who it was after just one glance at the treatment pod.

He made a rather disdainful sound, telling the cubs to throw the guy away like trash.

But it was clear that the little guy really liked the wolf's thick fur.

Cyrus's voice grew colder: "If you like, I'll just chop off his tail and let you play with it, that's the same thing."

The cub stood in front of Cyrus, shaking its head vigorously and pointing at the wolf: "Pet...!"

Upon hearing this, Cyrus's murderous intent calmed down somewhat.

If you just treat Rose as a pet, that's fine too.

Thinking about it this way, it seems more satisfying to treat your mortal enemy as a pet.

But Ethan, standing nearby, objected: "Your Highness, I'm your little dog!"

Ethan seems to have become addicted to being a dog.

Fortunately, Yuna was perceptive enough to know that what was about to happen was beyond their control, so she quickly and carefully dragged the enormous Bernese Mountain Dog by the scruff of its neck and slowly left the palace.

Unfortunately, she was much smaller than Ethan and couldn't move him at all.

At this pace of one step per second, it's likely that Cyrus would have finished his business before they even left the palace.

So the butler stepped forward to help, and together with Yuna, they dragged Ethan, the big dog, out.

Winston and the others, who had heard the news, were finally able to discuss Ross's future.

Ross is the son of the League's president and is the League's next presidential candidate.

However, rumors suggest that Ross's physical condition has always been poor. Although he is the only candidate for president and is highly regarded, it is unlikely that he will live past his prime. As a result, he has received fewer votes than the other two candidates, which has greatly worried the president.

The president and his wife were deeply in love, and perhaps because they still felt indebted to Ross, they were unwilling to have another candidate.

With that in mind, Winston's attitude improved considerably.

If Winston had encountered Ross in this crisis before Winston had cubs, he would have killed him without hesitation.

But now, when Winston looks at Ross, he thinks of his parents who also worry about him, and how Ross's growth must have been supported by his parents with all their might.

So Winston reluctantly kept Ross on, just to avoid making enemies for the cubs, and planned to discuss other things after Ross recovered.

But in the entire palace, the only ones who could truly stay with Ross were the cubs.

The cub didn't know who Ross was; he genuinely treated Ross as his pet.

Because whenever the little guy wanted to get a pet, his older siblings would question him about whether he didn't love them anymore.

So the little guy could only secretly hide Ross in the palace where he rarely lived.

At first, the snow-white wolf seemed to be very resistant to him, unwilling to speak or communicate with the cubs, and looked like it was ready to die at any moment.

But the cub didn't care about any of that; he only cared about his big tail.

Every day when he had nothing to do, he would come over and, ignoring the wolf's wary hissing, forcibly hug the wolf's tail to his chest and rub it against him, sometimes using it as a pillow, sometimes as a footrest, feeling quite comfortable.

Gradually, even the wolves became less resistant.

He was simply forced into this situation by the cubs.

Rose can't hurt him.

When he discovered that the little guy was even more fragile than him, needing someone to watch him even when he was walking, Ross thought that the cub was just like him, a pitiful person trapped in fate, unable to fight back.

So he softened and let the little guy pet and hug him. Even after his injuries healed, he didn't turn into human form. Instead, he stayed by the cub's side like a real pet, following him around every day.

Cyrus originally intended to humiliate his arch-rival Ross in this way.

But he couldn't stand watching the little guy grow closer and closer to the dead wolf, with the wolf's shadow following the cub wherever it went.

While the little guy wasn't paying attention, Cyrus quickly approached Ross and whispered a provocative message:

"Lord Ross, isn't it disgusting to pretend to be harmless to fool children like this?"

The wolf lowered his eyes. He felt much better physically and mentally by the cub's side. This little guy was definitely not that simple. In addition, the cub had already stroked all the fur on his body... In short, young master Ross did not want to leave the cub now.

According to Ross's family's strict upbringing and the wolf's inherent loyalty, although the cub is young, he should take responsibility for Ross when he grows up.

In addition, Rose didn't really have much of an obsession with the position of NBA General Manager, so he felt that it wouldn't be bad to follow the youngsters for the rest of his life.

The cub is so fragile, he should protect this child properly.

If Cyrus knew that Ross was thinking that far ahead, he would be furious.

He had chosen this himself, placing the dead wolf next to his younger brother.

This wolf is already eyeing the spot next to his brother!
