Winston had always been restrained, for fear of frightening his fragile child.

But now, having shed his veneer of reason, Winston no longer wants to conceal his raging, beastly instincts.

He did whatever he wanted to do.

The cub never expected that his father would actually not refuse at all. He said he could take a few more bites, and his father really did take many bites.

It won't hurt much, but...

He felt as if his face had swelled up, becoming rounder and more prominent... He was no longer that slightly chubby kid.

The cub looked disappointed, on the verge of tears.

Winston hadn't noticed the little guy's mood yet. He felt that after taking a couple of bites of the cub, his previously restless and irritable mood had calmed down.

Maybe, this really is the pet he picked up to release his emotions.

And it was quite effective; it seemed that as long as he held it in his arms, Winston would no longer have those anxious feelings, and his mood had become exceptionally good.

Anyway, the little guy is so small, he probably won't eat much in one meal, so there's no harm in keeping him.

With that thought in mind, Winston naturally carried the little guy under his arm and walked to the dining room.

What should pets eat?

Winston didn't quite understand, but the meticulous butler had already categorized and arranged everything the cub needed.

Because Winston's personality was unstable at this time, everyone in the palace had been evacuated to prevent any accidents.

However, before leaving, the housekeeper left behind the cub care manual they had previously compiled, and also placed the cub's necessary items in a prominent position.

Winston noticed it too. He flipped through the manual, and although he seemed impatient, he actually had muscle memory as soon as he touched the bottle and immediately and skillfully prepared milk for the little one.

The cubs hadn't had enough to eat in the dragon's nest, and now that they were finally getting to eat, they excitedly grabbed the bottle and started suckling.

Winston watched the little guy eat effortlessly and nodded like a father.

Winston told him to drink slowly while carefully flipping through the animal care manual.

We finally found the breed of the little guy.

Ancient humans.

Winston has never owned one.

So he could only seek help on pet forums.

What should I do if I've adopted an ancient human?

This post went viral immediately after it was published.

Fortunately, the palace where Winston was located was the headquarters of the supercomputer, so even if some people wanted to verify the truth of the matter, they could not hack into the royal network.

Those who wanted to crack Winston's account identity and IP address had no chance of succeeding.

However, this also indirectly confirms that the person who posted the message has a certain level of power and influence, and that the message he posted is most likely not a joke, but true.

[Did ancient humans really exist? Can someone show us? We're curious and want to see!]

Winston glanced at the cub, then, indulging his desire to show off, took a picture of him drinking milk.

However, to protect the little guy, Winston only took a picture of the cub's profile.

But after he sent it out, those who were initially very excited all fell silent:

Uh, the child is quite round...

Winston frowned.

He didn't get a satisfactory reply and was thinking that these people were really blind, unable to even see the cuteness of a cub.

Until those comments couldn't take it anymore and said:

Did this photo really get taken by the photographer? Hmm, their photography skills still have a lot of room for improvement. You can only make out a humanoid creature in the photo; the face is completely blurred...

Winston frowned, gripping his personal terminal tightly, and stared intently at the screen.

They seem very unwilling to accept this fact.

Was his filming really that bad?

Even Winston himself could feel the cuteness of the cubs from the photos!

That guy has no taste.

Until Winston accidentally touched the photo album and discovered that it was now full of pictures of cubs, some of which were blurry and others that looked like they had been filtered.

Winston probably had a feeling that some of the photos weren't taken by him.

But that doesn't matter now.

That's his photo in his album.

Winston picked out his favorite photo and posted it.

Sure enough, the reaction was quite different from before.

Winston's tightly furrowed brows could finally relax.

A large group of people below started praising the cub's cuteness.

[It really is an ancient human cub? I never imagined ancient humans were so tiny, maybe the size of a grain of rice? How does it make noises? Does it talk like us? Or does it meow? Oh my god, it's so soft and round, it looks so nice to touch...]

These adorable creatures should be more common! I'm fed up with pets these days! This world shouldn't have pets stronger than me that could slap me to death! I'd rather have a human! At least I can communicate!

[Am I the only one who noticed? This guy's photography skills have improved by leaps and bounds!]

[It was probably filmed by someone else, I won't say. If the boss gets angry, we won't be able to see the little one.]

[Here, I found some surviving records from ancient humans, showing how they likely raised their young (compressed file.zip)]

Winston opened the compressed file and found it contained some old videos with a worn-out patina, clearly from hundreds of years ago and of very low resolution.

Inside, ancient humans are holding tiny kittens and generously sharing with the camera how they raise their offspring.

Winston was a little curious: could it be that ancient human cubs would turn into cats later on?

Well, this little guy looks pretty much like a cat, all round and chubby. Winston stopped worrying about it and just followed the steps in the video to snatch food from the cub's mouth.

Winston touched the cub's belly and made sure that the little guy's belly was already bulging and round, looking like a chicken wing rice bowl full of filling.

So Winston said to the little guy:

"You're full."

The cub blinked its eyes. Children don't really have a concept of being full, so adults really need to guide them.

But Winston's act of lifting the little guy up and shaking him near his ear to listen to the sound of water confused the cub.

The little guy's feet gripped and released in mid-air, looking rather helpless.

Winston noticed the cub's subtle movements and immediately realized what was happening:

Are you kneading a breast?

Winston watched the little guy's toes move nimbly for a long time, but because of the socks, he couldn't see the baby's toes blossom.

So he took off the little guy's shoes... and a pair of ankle socks, a pair of floral socks, and a pair of bear socks.

These were all applied by Winston himself when he was lucid.

There's a kind of coldness that only a father feels for his child.

Finally, Winston peeled away the little guy's round toes and chubby feet like peeling an onion.

Overjoyed, the cub actually bloomed.

Winston was very satisfied, so he took another high-resolution blurry photo and posted it to show off.
