Ethan's words didn't provoke Ross, but instead shocked Ulva's eardrums.

The little guy rubbed his earlobe and then gave Ethan a loving pat.

Now that's settled, Ethan's mouth was gagged, and he finally behaved himself.

Rose didn't rest for long; he said he wanted to go back as soon as possible to put his mind at ease.

So Wu Tu nodded and took the nearest flight back to China with them.

But as soon as they landed, they discovered something was wrong.

In the noisy airport, Ross sensed a faint surveillance presence and their target slowly approaching.

Ross paused briefly, went to the VIP room to get a cup of coffee, and then confirmed that those people were heading towards them, but mainly towards Wutu.

The approaching men in black realized that Ross had spotted them, and immediately stopped trying to conceal their presence and charged forward.

Ross immediately grabbed the little guy, turned around, and left in another direction.

Wu Tu thought he could finally relax once he got home, but he never expected that he would fall into a wolf's den right after escaping from a tiger's lair.

Seeing this, Ethan offered to distract them, and then walked straight toward the people chasing the black clown, bumping into them. He then pretended to be an unreasonable nobleman and demanded an apology.

At this moment, Ulva and Ross seized the opportunity to escape.

He was surprised, completely unexpected, that in a country where Winston was, who would dare to arrest him.

But when he vaguely heard that it was the head of the Winston family who gave the order, the little guy suddenly realized that it was the fake!

That fake guy must have found out about Wu Tu's escape from Yue, so he came to catch him!

Wu Tu was furious. This opportunist actually dared to attack the leader! Wasn't he afraid of the Winston family's wrath?!

However, due to the circumstances, the little guy had no choice but to be dragged away from the airport by Ross and then go back to Ross's house first.

Ross's men and assistants were all there. They were happy to see their master finally return, but when they saw the black clown following behind Ross, they were dumbfounded.

"Who...who is this? Isn't the young master of the Winston family perfectly fine at home? Young Master Ross, since you can't have their young master, you've had to settle for second best and bring a fake home?"

Upon hearing this, Wu Tu felt that there was too much information in the words, and he didn't know which of the explosive pieces of information to react to.

Ross glanced at his men:

"This is real. The one you saw was the fake. You mustn't be disrespectful to Young Master Wu Tu himself."

The assistant quickly covered his mouth and apologized repeatedly.

Wu Tu didn't care; he immediately asked his assistant:

"You saw the fake? Can you tell the difference between it and mine? What was my family's reaction?"

The assistant glanced at Ross and answered honestly:

"I can't tell. The figure is exactly the same as yours, and we are quite far apart, so we can't notice the details."

"When he attended the meeting today, he was only accompanied by young master Richard. It seems that the Winston family is currently investigating the mastermind behind the previous shooting case, which is why someone attacked that fake at the meeting."

"Young Master Richard was a few steps too slow to protect the fake. If it weren't for the capable bodyguards around the fake, he might have been assassinated today."

So it seems... Richard and his group might not be completely unaware.

Why didn't they expose that person immediately?

Perhaps, just perhaps, it's because keeping him is still useful.

The black cat's expression changed several times.

But... why are those men in black coming to the airport to track his whereabouts?

His family couldn't possibly hurt him!

Ross noticed the little guy's anxiety and immediately took his hand, patted his back, and comforted him.

"Don't worry, we can expose him. I and Ethan can both testify for you."

"His methods are so clumsy, he can't possibly replace you completely."

"Don't panic, don't panic, I'll go to the Winston family for you and see what's going on."

After Ross finished speaking, he went to Winston Manor.

Ross had come many times, but he usually just stopped at the door and rarely made a formal visit.

However, given Ross's status, he still had the right to make this visit.

The butler recognized him and, after inviting him in, asked:

"Young Master Ross, is there something you need for this sudden visit?"

Ross said calmly, "I've come to see the black rabbit."

He was a friend of Wutu, so of course he could say he came to visit him.

However, the butler stopped in his tracks upon hearing this:

"I'm sorry, the young master hasn't been feeling well lately and doesn't really want to see guests."

Ross paused for a moment, then looked up at Wu Tu's room.

After thinking for a moment, Ross lifted his leg and started walking upstairs, saying as he did so:

"He's sick? Then I should go see him even more. He's my friend and my benefactor."

"He saved me before, so if he needs any help, I can offer it as soon as possible."

The butler almost couldn't keep up with Ross's pace.

After he caught up with Ross, he said:

"The young master doesn't live on the fifth floor; he lives on the third floor."

Ross stopped in his tracks.

The butler gave Ross a knowing, professional smile.

"The rooms on the fifth floor are currently under renovation, so the young master is staying in the master bedroom on the third floor."

Previously, only Winston and Ulquiorra lived on the fifth floor, while the third floor had always been empty and used as a study and office.

Only outsiders are unaware of this matter.

Ross slowed his pace. He had just reached the third floor when the door to the room in the middle of the corridor opened and a person came out.

Ross took a look and indeed it was no different from a black worm.

If Ross hadn't just spoken to the little guy, he might have been momentarily stunned.

However, this "black rabbit" did not look well; it looked very haggard, as if it had just experienced something that had frightened it.

Behind him was a bodyguard that Ross didn't recognize, and not a single one of the little guy's family members appeared.

When Ross saw "Blackie" come out, he greeted him with a normal expression:

"have not seen you for a long time."

"Wu Tu" paused for a moment, then smiled at him and typed:

Why are you here?

Ross exchanged a few casual pleasantries with him, not noticing anything amiss, then changed the subject and asked him:

Where are your father and brothers?

"Black Rabbit" pursed her lips: 【They're all at work. They're all very busy.】

Ross said, "But don't they usually treat you like the apple of their eye and spoil you? How could they bear to leave you alone at home, and not even stay with you when you're sick?"

A hint of gloom flashed across "Wu Tu's" expression, but he quickly changed his expression, revealing a somewhat lonely look:

They really wanted to come back and be with me. They took me to the auction yesterday and bought me lots of luxury goods and jewelry. But Dad is currently abroad negotiating business deals, and my brothers have their own companies...

Ross's tone was indifferent:

"Oh, but aren't you the head of the Winston family? How come they don't listen to you? Or have your brothers usurped power again?"

The black tusk's expression became flustered:

I'm still young and inexperienced, so I should listen to my family.

After asking the questions, Ross realized the fake item was worthless and turned to leave.

The little guy's family couldn't possibly leave him alone, and he didn't like those luxury items at all, nor did he like going to auctions.

Moreover, would a true patriarch be such a weak and cowardly man who doesn't even dare to hold onto his own property?
